Young Jazz Ensemble - Grade 3
Originally recorded by Mariah Carey in 1994, this upbeat tune has become a holiday favorite year after year. John Berry brings us a great-sounding version in a straight-ahead medium swing style with the melody traded around from section to section. No solos are required.

I actually enjoy this tune, it could be a little faster, but I like the slower tempo.
It's relaxing but still happy and a little exciting. Like Christmas.
put it at 1.25 speed and it's so much better
they always put these a little under tempo don't they
We did this in Jazz Band and we played it about that fast
True
I listen to every song at 1.25 speed
I like 1.1x better
You can do custom speeds (on a desktop at least) by pasting
_javascript:document.getElementsByClassName('html5-main-video')[0].playbackRate = 1.1_
in the address bar and pressing Enter
Das sind genau die noten die wir spielen .Zum üben ein traum .Danke
Way better than Paul Murtha's arrangement, in my opinion. Way to go, John Berry!
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need (and I)
Don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
I don't need to hang my stocking there upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won't make me happy with a toy on Christmas Day
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
All I want for Christmas is you
You, baby
Oh, I won't ask for much this Christmas
I won't even wish for snow (and I)
I'm just gonna keep on waiting underneath the mistletoe
I won't make a list and send it to the North Pole for Saint Nick
I won't even stay awake to hear those magic reindeer click
'Cause I just want you here tonight
Holding on to me so tight
What more can I do?
Oh, baby, all I want for Christmas is you
You, baby
Oh-oh, all the lights are shining so brightly everywhere (so brightly, baby)
And the sound of children's laughter fills the air (oh, oh, yeah)
And everyone is singing (oh, yeah)
I hear those sleigh bells ringing
Santa, won't you bring me the one I really need? (Yeah, oh)
Won't you please bring my baby to me?
Yeah trumpets have a cool part and so do the saxes, but I play baritone and it’s a blast to play this on that
