    As someone that gonna get a 6700 xt soon on second hand market, i am happy to see that the 6700 xt beats nvidia on the efficiency side. At least, here.

      Yeah, tho it appears mine is more efficient than normal so the power consumption you will get will depend on the game and how lucky you are with the quality of the chip. Take into account the card has 220w of tdp so it could theoretically go up to that

      Undervolting is great on AMD
      My 6700xt draws around 140w - 160w with only like 3 - 6fps difference

      @@AlexM016 i used auto undervolting and it reduced it by like ten watts for a ridiculous small lower voltage.

      Thank you so much, for this and the other comment :)
      I know some people are fanboys of a specific brand like AMD, Intel, Nvidia... When I respond then is not to argue but to just explain myself and why I did what I did, as that can be useful not for them but for other people that might read the conversation. But again, thank you so much for worrying about me :)

      @@teflonstestbench well, i have adblock on, so this is the only way for me to support you in any way - and i think it´s way better than relying on ad revenue 😉

      Yeah, it's way better than ad revenue but as this is a hobby atleast for now then I don't worry too much about earnings. Tho it helps get new stuff to test for the channel as hardware this days is really expensive so thanks again :)

    So you put the TI versions of the card but not the 6750XT? because the 6700XT wipes the floor against the 3060 and 2080. 6750XT is on 18 Gbps vs 16 Gbps on the 6700XT.

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  3 месяца назад +13

      The ti naming on Nvidia are completely different cards different chip configuration, memory configuration, controller and bus and all together a completely different card. The AMD XX50 are just cards with memory oc and more power available to them, so as I am really short on money and I have to buy all the cards I test I usually don't get two basically identical cards to test. But ideally I would love to have both and test them tho the performance difference might be really small as the changes are as well really small.

      @@teflonstestbench it isn't small going from 16 Gbps to 18 makes a world of a different in 2K and 4K. The 6750XT is also clocked higher thus giving it a higher pixel and texture rate that alone is going to set the cards apart as well it would be the ideal card to test in this scenario especially considering the 6700 being on 192 Bit it's going to need the faster memory compared to the 3060TI that's on 14Gbps on 256 bit and the 2080TI being on 14Gbps 352 Bit. Bandwidth memory speed higher clock speeds all of these need to be taken into account.

    How do I see the real GPU Wattage?

    • @teflonstestbench
      @teflonstestbench  2 месяца назад +1

      That value I measure it externally via a device that hooks up to the PSU cables so I can see all the energy entering the graphics card externally. The other value you see is the metric that the card bios shows and that is the one that you can see on all GPUs and that you can see if you go to mai afterburner or hwinfo
