Great tutorial! I've done some patchwork covers and agree they are time consuming, but so worth it! One other idea I saw in a video was to put a strip of sports tape or something similar along each of the folds on the inside of the cover before covering with fabric, to reinforce the folds.
Beautiful tutorial my dear Meg thank you so much for sharing your process, as for the finger spreading portion, I would suggest to get one of those pink silicone finger polish removers from Dollar Tree that's what I use.👍🏻 it also avoids messing up my polish 😊
