You can add a light backing to your fabric so that it’s not see through too

Why not iron the fabric first?

I thought that until I saw how easily flattened it was made by the decoupage glue. Since it flattens so easily, ironing would be an unneeded step.

I bought a small Bible at a used bookstore to carry to Bible study with me and I now know why someone traded it in. It's shedding the rubbery coating on the outside. I'm going to try this to stop the shed.
