I got halfway through this video before realising this has less than 500 views! I seriously thought this video belonged to an established channel with millions of subscribers. I love your dignified and reserved style of presentation :)

Oh yeah, growing up in Virginia exposed me to all these foods and that was just for school lunches. You should of seen and tasted what regional goodies WAWA offered and for only $200.00 a pop. BTW where was the grandfathers cured Ham?

It is somewhat standard I think, the 20% thing on top of the tip. At least Omakase Yume also does it like that. Chicago is pricey, and although I haven’t been to alinea, for sure most restaurants are not at the same level as some other Michelin starred options in Europe or Mexico that are cheaper and more experimental…

Mark my words Symth is going to loose a star come December 9th. I appreciate your review.

I like fine dining and am comfortable paying what Smyth charges. This tasting menu, IMO, isn’t worth it. This is close to $400 of food. For that price, I want something so remarkably unique that it can’t be found elsewhere or an experience that’s totally unique. Neither I thought was true in this video.
