    FAQ: Many people ask me what Mat board is so here is a brief explanation: Mat board is the material they use to make mats around artwork inside of frames. It can also be called museum board and a popular brand name is "Crescent Board". You can also use thin panels of basswood for this project if you do not have mat board.

      Lol so true on the food. I may have to write some kind of explanation in a story blurb on why the food is still there ;) Thanks Leslie!!

    • @ClareCreationsAL
      @ClareCreationsAL 6 лет назад

      Bentley House Minis I believe it is still there because it molded severely from being in an enclosed case in an enclosed shop for years before the walls fell in, etc. It apparently dehydrated, as well which would explain why they are so hard. Lol

    I'm trying to make something like this for my diner scene. It's my first miniature project and my measurements aren't great. It's coming out 6 in long 2 in wide and the tallest display part is 3 1/2 in tall. Is that too big for 12th scale? Someone plz help!!!

    Did the crackle medium was dry when you added the paint on top of it ?

    • @BentleyHouseMinis
      @BentleyHouseMinis  6 лет назад +1

      Yes I let it dry completely. It does have a shine even after it dries so it may look wet but as long as its dry to the touch you're good. My very first live stream I aged and crackled a miniature. That may be helpful to you to see it in real time if it's still giving you fits.

    @Bentleyhouseminis, what would someone use to go through matboard, if you did not possess a handdrill,... and had, for the foreseeable at least, spent QUITE enough on crafting supplies 🤦‍♀️
