Jon Interesting video . I agree with you about becoming obsessed with the weather although I am also getting old. If you want to maximise your solar system its best to work with the weather and the seasons. One thing which concerns me is my wife is a technophobe and would not cope with the tweaking of settings and so on if I turned up my toes. I have tried to show her how the system works but all to no avail. With an aging population I think there will be other people in this situation.

Hi BJ , yes i agree , my wife has zero interest in planning when to use stored power , if it's sunny , she puts the washing machine on , and that's about it !
I think in years to come with AI , i can see an 'app' knowing what tomorrow's weather will be over my area , and adjust renewables and battery storage automatically 😀

Great video, that was very informative. I was really interested in the Sunamp system, is that what you use in your home for heating hot water. Living in a modern house I don’t have a hot water tank, nor the space for a big tank but I would be really interested to see how this works for you and meets your usage. Thanks
