DC fought people were not that so big, Stipe 230 to 240 not like 275 or something. Aspinal is almost maxing out the weight, someone like Cyril Game, are not too big, But Aspinal is really big and the size could be a problem, Jones made sure he was fully big and got used to the weight too, Izzy miscalculated when he fough Jan Blahovich and the size was too much esp in the wrestling, or clinching department.
Alex needs to be as big or get strong enough to push and out muscle thise BIG guys.
There is a video a of skinny guy in body building videos who can carry extremely heavy things.
Like that he can match at least their size with power and everything.
But if Alex match Ngannou s recording punching some machine then he could give Aspinal or any HW problem, although I think Aspinal will knock him like Izzy did the last time.

The power in hw is absolutely different. Hw fighters train and eat whatever they want because there's no weight limit. Unlike in mw and below, you need to maintain a certain weight if not you'll be disqualified. The food you intake after the training is important. You will regain and recover fast and the nutrients that your body needs will be supplied correctly. Train eat cycle while in the training camp is important. While others needs to cut weight which definitely affects their performance.

This match-up strikes me as very interesting. For some context, i'm a total Alex Supporter, i ought to be, I train at Glover's Gym in Danbury talked to him a few times, and just saw him inspiring 10yr kids at the gym just yesterday right before my BJJ class; I'm pretty known to MMA recent college grad previous athletic experience was in Track and also did calisthenics. I and everyone in my hometown is totally in alex's corner, and you can tell he has incredible mental strength, it's in his eyes when he stares at you, he is fearless, strong, powerful, smart and skilled, not the fasted guy and mostly a stand-up fighter but he is a legit heavyweight at 6'4 can def get as big as 240-250. I also really like Tom, and he is definitely a legit heavy weight at 6'5 and all of 265, highly skilled and much more well rounded, but Alex is that big, that powerful, and has the moment and vision to get this done. It would be Alex's job to keep it on the feet and attack Tom's legs, tho Tom's leck kicks also look really good, Tom would have to take it to the ground and use his higher level BJJ and wrestling and size and power of his own i would think, tho he can stand well to but i would give the edge to Alex on the feet

It's cool if he tries it but I think it would be a problem for him. He's a big guy, but the heavyweight class margin for weight is huge. It's not that big a leap from 155 to 170 or from 170 to 185 or 185 to 205, but it's crazy that you could weigh 206 and potentially fight someone weighing 265.

Alex was manhandled by a 41 year old, suffering from altitude, Jan Blachowicz. I love him but it's clear the ufc gave him a pretty safe route to the title with mainly strikers. Jan at sea level would beat him comfortably... he was even getting the better of the striking if you asked me and Alex seemed to react more to his shots than vice versa.

If Tom let’s his ego get the better of him and try’s to stand and trade with Alex it’s over that left will find a home eventually, but if he’s smart and takes him down Tom definitely takes the Win

Tom is too quick and crafty.... He was one of Tyson Fury's main sparring partner for some of his biggest fights. Alex is amazing and powerful, but he's nothing that Tom hasn't seen or dealt with before.

I never considered ALex as the real champ because of the easy fights he got on the way to the belt and because his grappling will never be good enough to stay champion. hes a paper champ like tito was.

Oh so why start at middleweight , because he is a weight bully . Fighting a heavyweight is not the same as fighting with these small men he's been fighting. His size will mean nothing In the heavyweight division he's better off staying away from the heavyweights

@watappp If aspinall evades the left hook or knocks him out before the left hook yes aspinall will win but if Alex lands that left hook clean, he's going to sleep

    • @TheStraightestWhitest

@@yodaddy000 Sergei hits harder than Alex and landed a clean left hook, which is also his forté. It did nothing to short notice Tom. And Alex doesn't have a tenth of the KO power as someone like Sergei. Their fight records show it. Sergei has a 2 minute average win time, knockouts only, against beastly brawlers with granite chins like Tai and Lewis. Meanwhile Alex couldn't put away Jan Blachowicz or Bruno fucking Silva. Tom's mass will negate Alex's mediocre and highly overrated punching power.

If Jon Jones retires against Miocic, we should have a new heavyweight king, and I think Aspinall and Alex should fight for the heavyweight championship. And I think Cyril Gane is still a threat. I think one of these three will take the throne.
