    I am a windows user, however I believe in having knowledge of a Linux system is just as important. You have just proved how Linux is useful and still used. Most things today still use some form of Linux.
    Someday I will eventually get around to learning more, I will eventually create a Linux system. But I will always be a windows user, nothing wrong with having or using the best from both worlds. Think of it like being able to speak more than one language.

    • @xanderlurks

      If you have money to burn and free time to learn, you can use Linux as your main desktop and buy a second GPU to pass through a VM to run windows with close to full power while using Linux as your host OS.

    You can do it with in windows itself. Go to the recovery environment and go to command prompt and enable the super admin account. Restart the computer and then log in the super admin accounts. Open to the control panel then user accounts and click on your main account. Then boom reset or remove the password entry and you’re done. Don’t forget to re disabled the super admin account because hackers can use it just as well as you can.

    1. There's an easier way using the bios...
    2. You should tell people how to protect their pc from that hack... So adding a password on the BIOS (for access and startup) should prevent this kind of hack.

    • @GregM
      @GregM 8 месяцев назад

      No because one can clear the CMOS and that will remove passwords in the BIOS UNLESS they are written to an area in BIOS that is not user accessible. As well one can also remove the drive from the system and install it another board use this method

    • @Cyba_IT
      @Cyba_IT 8 месяцев назад

      I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to reset the Windows logon password in the BIOS. It's also quite a bit more difficult to reset a BIOS password (Unless your Mobo has a dedicated BIOS password reset jumper, which most don't) than it is to reset a Windows logon password. It was when I did it awhile ago anyway.

    • @Cyba_IT
      @Cyba_IT 8 месяцев назад

      @@GregM Yeah, on most Mobo's clearing the CMOS doesn't reset the BIOS password annoyingly. It makes sense security-wise though of course. Much easier to pull the drive as you say and hope it isn't encrypted. 😂😬

    I really don’t like windows 11 it reminds me of windows 8 and 8.1 and how bad they were cause 10 came out very quickly not long after Microsoft was getting really a ton of negative feedback and oh how much I really loved windows 7 I even still have a older laptop that has vista installed on it and only reason why I bought it is so I can still play certain pc games that will not run on 7 and up to 11. Play station is backwards compatible why can’t windows be that way, example Star Trek Borg and $80 game that I bought and I never got to play it and I have heard that it was a very good game and the pc that I had back in 99 was to weak to play that game and by the time I had the money to buy a new pc the game was outdated couldn’t play it because of windows version that I had and if I remember correctly it was xp not sure but it would not play and now after all theses years I’ve lost the game. Oh well

      @@ObakuZenCenter Ah, I see. I stand corrected, my friend. I was thinking more along the lines of someone setting their pc up so that it prompts them to change their password every user-defined period of time. Although, I assumed that being able to reset a user password using the built-in tools (ie. cmd prompt) would be something that, while useful and available in older versions of windows, MS would deprecate that functionality so it's not so easy for anyone to just break into a machine. My thought was so that they could push (or _encourage_ ) users to register with a MS account by introducing the ability to be able to reset your password with it.
