How Do You INSTALL or REMOVE a SBA3 or SBA4 Pistol brace ?

Viewer requested, may seem silly but they both come off the extension tube differently, but easily. The sba4 and sba3 use your standard Milspec extension tube. installation is the reverse of removal shown.

I suspected that was the way, but I didn't want to break it trying. I searched through a dozen vids until I found yours. It was just what I needed! Thank you!
Edit: Even knowing that was how it worked, I could not get the adjustment pin inside the brace to retract enough to install the device. I ended up drifting the bottom roll pin out. That relaxed the spring pressure on the pin and the brace slipped right on. The plastic cap and spring were an easy reinstall, and the roll pin went in without any problems.

Holy jesus mary and joseph!!!! I'm writing this @ 6:00am. Do you know why i'm writing this at 6:00 am? because i have been trying for 4 hours to put this damn pistol together!!! I though i was an idiot. Just before this i thought i had to pop the rear off the brace and slide the tube through it forward and reinstall the damn thing.
In the meantime it cost me my buffer control spring.
Ahhhhhhhh, the enjoyment of that first build ever!!! ;)

I just received this and SBA Tactical’s installation instructions that come with the brace are random garbage. 16 steps and 15 of them are ONLY about assembling the buffer tube assembly to the lower. Like, what?? Why?! And then step 16 FINALLY actually pertains to the brace, but it’s completely unclear that you press where you do (ie NOT where the adjustment lever only adjusts the LOP). They clearly need new instructions!! 😂

The tape heats up and makes a sticky mess if your putting it on the tube itself. If shimming the brace with it it melts to it also. I ended up just dealing with it.

I’m trying to put one on, but my buffer tube is too big around 11/4” Milspec is smaller 11/8” 🤬 Mine didn’t come with a brace, only the buffer tube.

Great job.. I tried for a bit then after this, was like.. Oh that was easy... Thanks!! With that said there has to be 10mill+ peeps with these braces.. LOL... I'm willing to bet 25% will refuse to take it off (but it will stay in their safe).. I heard that some peeps that work for Gov't officials are refusing to take it off of their personal guns and guns owned for security. There is also a huge part of the gun owning population that have no clue this is a thing b/c they bought their gun from a gun shop... The ATF can't keep changing their minds about whats legal and whats not... The state I live in would agree... LOL Our AG is solid and would probably help out the people that don't know the ATF changes the rules every 2 to 3 years or so... No law bidding person should!! If the Govt is changing the law that often there is a problem then it turns into entrapment... Gonna be lot's of Ruby Ridges about to occur... LOL
The ATF should start investigating in Texas first... Go out to some Ranches or peeps that live out in the Country... You won't be able to blame a CULT this time around!! Best of LUCK!!
