I feel like a lot of people forget one thing Mick did to get his guitars to sound even heavier: he played all the riffs at a very high pitch originally, then pitched them down multiple octaves in the DAW. And the results somehow made the guitars sound heavier, louder, and sometimes downright monstrous. (He said this in his GDC talk but literally nobody ever talks abt it)
