- I wanted to share my job first experience because it is definitely a memorable one. Those of you that may be interested in working at Taco Bell or any fast food restaurants, this is your guide! It's definitely worth the shot and who knows, maybe you will find friendships that will last!

I had an interview today and I nearly cried because it was my first interview ever. the woman was so understanding and I ended up getting the job. i have orientation on the 8th and i’m nervous!

I had a terrible experience working with Taco Bell for over 2 years(rude managers, rude co-workers, not a friendly environment, terrible management). I am happy that you enjoyed your time there.

i quit my first fast food job after 4 days of training because i was so overwhelmed but i just got hired at taco bell the other day and i already feel anxious but i'm gonna try to stick it out bc i need experience and don't wanna be a quitter😩 this made me feel better about my anxiety

Good video! I’m starting my first day at Taco Bell today. Worked in Michelin Star restaurants as a cook, but first time at a fast food. I’m a banker now but was looking for a second job.
How was it ?
My first real day was today and I had to give the customers their change and tomorrow I think they’re going to make me take orders but it looks so complicated can you give me some tips?
I would suggest getting familiar with the Taco Bell menu! That makes taking orders easier. I don’t know if you have checked out my 2nd Taco Bell video, but I did go over the Taco Bell screen and broke it down into pieces as to where everything is! I think that could help you out a lot! If anything you can always ask your coworkers if you ever need help! You will soon be a pro, it takes practice! All the best 💕
I started around 3-4 days ago. 😣😣 Literally most of my coworkers are nice. They work so quickly, and i have to ask what goes on what, and how to wrap, etc.. I just feel like I'm in everyones wayy :( but great videooo😊😊 i subbed

@@jeraldnamauleg8791 I got the job! It really wasn’t an interview because they just asked what hours I could work and what days I was available. Then I had paperwork to do after the next day and they started training me!

My real first day was yesterday and I was soo confused ! I have a few questions.
What’s the first thing you do when you clock in , do you check your drawer ?
After you count your drawer do you go put it at the window you’re assigned to ?
We’re supposed to put our $20 bills in a Dropbox and then when it was time to clock out the manager made me unlock the box and count the $20 and then put it in my drawer , but I thought we can’t have $20 bills in our register ?
And when it’s time to clock out do you put your drawer back in the front , count it , then leave ?
Sorry I worked at Taco Bell a few years bk but I remembered that I never had to deal with the cash box, all I had to do was let my manager know and they closed out for me. All I had to do was count the money and had to insert the indicated amount of money into the this locked cash box. So I’m not sure what ur Taco Bell manager’s rules are abt cashing out, sorry.

So I applied and within 10 min I got a text saying if I could come in for an interview , so I went and basically they asked me about me and when I can start , now I got the job and I start Thursday. All of this happened within 2 hours .

Don’t worry too much about it, I’m sure your interview was fine :) From my experience, I was notified after I was interviewed(same day) I would give it 2-3 days, but in the meantime u should apply to another Taco Bell near u or other restaurants as backup! Wishing u best of luck! 💕

Thanks for the info! When you stopped working there, did you give them prior notice that you were leaving? Also during the interview, or anytime during employment, did you tell the manager the job was going to be temp for you? Just wondering because I too can only work a few months
Hey lovely. Taco Bell was my first job, therefore I didn’t end things in the best way LOL. So technically ur suppose to give them a 2 weeks notice before u leave. (That’s usually the right thing to do) But at the time, I told them a week before, that was my bad on my part and they weren’t too happy). But if u want to make sure u get the job, I wouldn’t tell them u are only going to be there for a few months (ur chance of getting hired will decrease since they prefer people who will be there for a long time). If they don’t ask you, don’t tell them how long ur planning to stay. If they do ask u, u should tell them “I’m not sure yet, I’ll have to see my school schedule and work around it!” I think that’s the best way to tell them! Good luck girl! ❤️ lmk how it goes!

Hi! So I believe u can search online “Taco Bell career” and there should be a job search option. Or just simply search “Taco Bell job application” something should come up! If not u can always call the actual store, maybe they are currently hiring and possibly ask u for an interview! ☺️❤️ hope this helped!
how many hours did you work a day as a minor
I was given 8 hr shifts! As a minor, they must give u a 30 min break by the 5 hr mark (but I think it depends on ur state law 🤷🏻♀️) I would check out ur state law abt working minors! ☺️
when someone orders something and pops up on that tv screen their order does it show the ingredients that you have to put to make it or you have to memorize the menu to make it ???
When you are making the order on the line, it will not show u the ingredients, so yes u do have to memorize what to put inside the order. However if you are a cashier trying to put in orders, u will b able to see what’s inside each food. Hope this makes sense! ❤️
They pay you for training?
Yes!
Does the register calculate how much change to give back to the customer?
Yea it does, usually all registers do, like restaurants and retail

Hey! That’s amazing!! The menu will naturally come to u, the orders are really repetitive so u will deff get it pretty quick! (Same with making the orders on the line, u’ll just get used to the ingredients the more u do it!) ofc u can always study the menu but it’s not necessary haha! Good luck! ❤️

Crew members can be front desk, drive thru or on the line.
I’m not sure the current pay anymore since I worked there two years ago and min wage depends on each state
They really only ask ur job experience/when u are available to work in the interview!

Can you work somewhere else while working at Taco Bell?
Ofc! I worked another job while working at Taco Bell. My other job allowed me to make my own schedule and was fine with me working only weekends. So I did Taco Bell all weekdays+weekend mornings. It’s deff possible but I would keep in mind that Taco Bell gives out 8-9 hr shifts and tend to be less flexible! Hope this helped!

maurissa ramsey Depending on how long your Taco Bell shifts are and how many days your manager assigns u, I think any job is possible, whether it be retail or another place like Starbucks! I don’t exactly know a place where the hours aren’t as hectic as fast foods, but try out retail/drink/ice cream shops! I hope this helps! 💕

I got it done in 4 hours and started working the next day I’m not sure how long it will be for you. Maybe you watched the newer version and it’s longer?

U should deff let ur manager know abt it beforehand! And just remember to just take ur time and do the best you can :)

@@drhyraxlover hiii okay so yes you tell them you’re there for an entire and they will ask you your name and to take a seat. during my interview they asked me what i wanna do in life, plans for the future, my age, my greatest weakness method of transportation, and how soon i could start working. i was super nervous and messed up when speaking a bit but try to stay calm and not panic too much!! good luck!!

Can you explain what a Crew Member: Champion is? I’m a little confused is it just a normal Crew member or is it a lot different?
Crew member/ team member is the same thing. The positions available are team member or manager. As a team member, u can be assigned to do drive thru or front desk which is called “service champion” or u can work on the line and make orders called “food champion” hope this clear some things up! ❤️

If you saved all your cheeks for one month of working how much would you make would you say?
My hourly pay was 8.75, it’s probably different now. I made around 1,200 a month without taxes !

I walked in and asked the manager. He just told me to apply online
How much do crew members make ?
It depends on experience. I was new so I was paid 8.75. This was two years ago, so minimum wage definitely changed. I had a coworker that was there for over a year and he was paid 9.50. Managers are paid higher. Hope this helped ! ☺️

Mainly Service champion, but I also made the orders as well!
There is a team member position availiable but I am being told that I can apply when doing so on the website. Would that be because of my age?
Team members are service champions/food champions. I would call the restaurant. Age shouldn’t be an issue when applying positions unless you are underage to work in general.
