- In episode #18 of 2 Minutes with Pat shot in the Pololu Valley of Hawaii, we are reminded that we often forget to be grateful for the simple pleasures in life. Pat illustrates this point through a personal story of being in the military and appreciating a simple hot shower. Take some time out of your day to remind yourself of things you are grateful for.

Lesson: There are many small things in life that we take for granted. Remember these things and be greatful for them.
Practising gratitude is something I want to incorporate into my daily routine. It's true that we get so caught up in what we think is important that we forget the simple things
Just remember there is someone out there that is more than happy with less than what we have.
Exactly!
I believe that it's very important to learn to be grateful for the small things. If we don't appreciate the little things, the big ones will never make us as happy.
10/18/2018 I learn so much from what people have been through during their lowest time in their life. Those story make me realize how fortunate and blessed I am. Thank you for the message Patrick.
Cherish the little things in life. Dont be ungrateful. Count your blessings.
I am grateful I was fired because it will test my mental toughness.
I am grateful I found PHP because it is teaching me mental toughness.
I am grateful I have a father who still cooks and does things around the apartment.

I am grateful to be in the United States of America.

Be grateful for the things we have
Thank you for reminding me that I have a great life. You rock PBD!
You don't realize the value of something until its gone. That's the sad truth about most people. We need to strive to find value in what we have while we have it! Really eye opening message Pat! Thank you!
Be grateful for what you have because it could be taken away at any moment.

Small things matter.
studylog: 1/1/18 1214 I'm appreciative for my positioning in life- the opportunity to leverage my potential. Note the suffering in the world purely for the reason of showing those in a more fortunate position how fortunate they are...

Another great message! I have experienced the true appreciation of a hot shower after mission trips where I worked on a roof in the hot South Carolina sun, so I have an idea of what you mean. It's cool that you trained in SC because I am from there. Was your training in Charleston by chance?
Write 2 things to be grateful for in the morning and 2 at night for a month. They all have to be different. Compile them at the end of the month. You will have a list of 120 things you can be grateful for.
