Please be aware that this is old/dated main stream narrative chatter. Cut the carbs & processed foods, increase animal protein, and eat more FAT, as in butter and tallow. Not everyone can do more fiber. Adding more bulk for some can add to constipation.
This is actually a little irresponsible. Some people can't eat a lot of fiber, such as people with IBS-C, Ulcerative Colitis, and Gastroparesis.
