Great video. I bought a gmc typhoon a few years ago and this kit was used to rebuild my transmission. I'm on the fences about keeping this transmission or go with a 4l80e. I'm not tracking my truck although the engine has been built with forged internals and ARP hardware holding it all together. I'm getting an aftermarket ecu to control it so it should run more efficiently than stock. Batch fire fuel injection will be SFI when my wiring harness and everything is complete. Also deleting the stock distributor for a dual sync distributor as i was having major hard start problems due to constant failure of the ICM.
@@reavisstockard2994 Yessir! I can't wait. On my channel I have a video of the typhoon running after I was installing headlights. It sounds good and drives good if you can keep it running.
Question about accumulator please. The 1990 700r4 I have has been into before. The reprogramming kit does not address the order of things that go into the bore in the case under the plate or the 1-2 cup on top. Can you tell me how you load those areas please. I did the reprogramming kit by the instructions. Stock TBI 350 but want to hit firm.
I haven’t driven that one , it’s for a friend who’s still building the car. I’ve driven a bunch of others I put the kit together n and I really like the way they shift
Thank you for the gr8 video, I reprogrammed my Th700R4 and it kicks ass : )
@@jimpowell764 Thank you sir
Thanks...I know now....I'm not going to be doing that transshift modification....not for my old farm truck. I'll rebuild as stock.
Great video Reavis! So full of value.
Thank you so much !

@@davidowen5312 you’re welcome
Did you drill the valve body like it says in the instructions? I did see that process in the video.

You can just put two pistons in it block it that way.
