20mm cannon, seems like a Rh202 type of penetration. And the 20mm is basically useless on both Marders and the Wiesel for ground targets. 66mm at 10 meters at 0° with the APDS. At most, this thing might scratch cannons a bit, tracks and some really light armored vehicles. Nothing like the Fox imho
You'ld be shocked at how good the Wiesel is with the 20mm. It's a great track and turret killer, and certain medium tanks can be taken out too.
@@LeonGerity It's not that bad but it needs a specific context to do something. The 30mm of the Fox have basically twice the pen of the Rh202. With that much pen, you can get through soviet side armor quite easily while the Wiesel struggles to even get through M60 side armor. Saying that the XM800T will do great is highly debatable since it's bigger and about 3 times heavier and will probably get the same pen as the Marder A1- or even less ( DM43 being HVAP, AP should have a bit less pen ).
The Fox is basically free from a targeting standpoint. It can get through every common side armor, every back armor. With the 20mm, that's not possible
It used an M139 cannon, which is the same as the Oerlikon KAD from the R3-T20. That could be kinda fun.

Wish it got a little bit better AP abilities but so be it. Also hope the LAV-25 and the LAV-25A2 come along sometime soon aswell
finally an actual fucking light tank they should eventually just re-add the ccvl and xm8 at some point

@@notafrog2040 if the Strykers were corrected they'd be pretty good. If the M3 Bradley had M919 like it should, and they made TOWs not dogshit, they'd also be good. But anytime we get a good vehicle too, especially a light tank, they also over-br it (M551(76) didnt last long, M18+Super, and the M41A1 was both nerfed artificially and also over-br'd.) USA isnt allowed to be competitive.

@@Freedom9X Benelux subtree has been leaked for the French tree. The Dutch used the Leo2A6 and have painted one of them bright orange before for the world (or euro) cup. The skin is actually already ingame with the Finish 2A6

They should add the XM800W also, would basically be an American R3-T20 but in the shape of a Boarhound (ish).

After playing it. It do sent have laser range finder or smoke. Big downside. But, it is one of the most fun vehicles I have had in awhile. I can get close to nukes consistently. It is better in upteirs than downteirs. You will struggle but it is worth it.
Omg, it's like a baby Sheridan, it's adorable.
Now that it’s live it seems a little disappointing in terms of pen. Might be a better SPAA of sorts but a BTR or Fox it is not.

what makes this one rank better than the R3 T20? the R3 gets HVAP rounds too. it's faster, it's quieter, it's fully stabilized.

@@myopickid4180 which is irrelevant if it doesn't have a good round, according to Gaijin it will only have API-T i.e. no HVAP or APDS thing is probably DOA if that is true.

Is that really rare? I just started playing a few months ago and have stuck to low tier mostly.
Now i'm split between going back to grinding the US tech tree out of 5.3, or continuing my USSR to get a proper 8.0 lineup

If I read some comments here , I don't wonder why the playerbase is so bad . Some guys compare that to a Wiesel at 7.3 , cause it has a lrf and thermals . For what you need a lrf on a 20mm , that can barely pen a pick up at 1km ? You don't snipe with the Wiesel at all , there is a stabilizer way more useful for such a fast car .
This is the same as the Fox , stabilized and better fire rate . But not as much pen , so 7.7 should be good . And not 6.7 , cause it has no lrf guys . 😅
I was thinking about 7.3 like the wiesel 1A4, because it is bigger than the wiesel but no thermals. Both have lrf (yeah its way better to have laser rangefinder for a 20mm, belive me). Hope they give xm800t apds

it has a shitty 20mm gun like marder, how its even compare to fox, fox has 30mm doom cannon with insane post pen damage for its caliber.

7.3 or bellow. The fox is way better and it's 7.7! The wiesel has a similar cannon, and it is 7.3. Wiesel also has laser rangefinder and thermals.

You can't even pen a cybertruck at 1km with that cannon , what benefit gives you that "laser" rangefinder or thermals ?
This thing has a stabilizer , wich is way more usable than a lrf and 7.7 sounds good .

Please tell me we will be getting a game mode where it is ground ONLY --- too many ppl running straight to planes in Groud RB and ruining the game because anti air SUCKS lately, I used to tear planes apart with my 50cls on tanks, now I cant hit crap! please planes are ruining ground RB

@@45atanner so many ppl I have spoken to want ground only mode. they are sick of ppl with massive kill rates for vehicles in planes. there are so many that just run to planes and hide in them, I am not saying they area not good in planes, but they ruin the game for those of us who are not and specifically want to play tanks
@@jameslivingstone7428It would be easy to fix , just raise the SP cost for planes . 1000 SP minimum and you will see 75% less CAS , now all you need is a light tank and an assist to get a fully loaded P47 .
Probably, just adjusting br for some overperformed tech aircraft, than that could affect their ability to take money airplane lover wallet

Last I checked the sep 2 is perfectly viable in top tier. Definitely better that the Italian top tier tanks and on par with the German. Maybe you’re just bad
@@nikoclesceri2267 the SEPv2 in game is a worse SEPv1, and the SEPv1 is worse than the 11.7 vehicles of Russia, Germany, Sweden, and Japan at least. Every tank at 11.7 is ‘viable,’ but the gap between the 11.7’s of Russia, Germany, and Sweden versus every other country (besides Japan) is massive. The SEPv1 is one of the better non-Russian/German/Swedish tanks, but that isn’t saying much.
You must be new to the game. Dev blogs release 1 new vehicle every day and they don't start with the greatest vehicle
