"let's see i need a hi-hat" *drags in a drift phonk cowbell* "yeah that's it"
he was right though
7:03 this is the point at which I decided I will subscribe to this madman
i want to see you making a track for 4 hours
I don't think the internet an handle this :D
*can
Just loop it…
Same
Ned “Speedrun” Rush. Fastest I’ve seen you get to utter chaotic brilliance!
Creating a sense of structure with that second Envelope MIDI switch thing was just 🥝
Would love to see a part 2 of this arranging a track with these awesome clips.
Someone give this guy a golden globe already!! 🥝
Just amazing. You're the Ableton wizard! Very inspiring.
I don’t think Live could be used better than you do. Insane.
Ned Rush Greatest Hits
This is absolutely brilliant. Top shelf stuff. Hats off to you.
🥝 absolutely mindblowing
I'd love longer videos were after experimenting you take those ideas and actually make a track out of them🥝🥝
One of best Ableton techniques I’ve ever seen, elite breaks programming
Pure genius.
another masterpiece of a Ableton lesson. bless you Ned
Incredible video Ned! Been playing with this at different tempos and it's a very powerful method. To expand a little bit, what I'm working on now is using the Looper device, which I think I can leverage to get longer than 1 bar loops and maybe even generate call and responses. Also using a ronadmized sampler with a mudpie for some reeses and prickly bits. Keep em coming, you're a champion among ableton users
Brilliant. 🥝 loved it all! Putting my face in the freezer now cos it melted sometime after the freeze & redux.
I was watching the second half of the video with a smug smile slowly shifting into a wide-open mouth and then into an utterly shocked grimace. this in INSANELY GOOD! like, with every effect it only became better and better.
Absolutely Brilliant!!!! 🥝🥝🥝
🥝 super inspired to make generative beats now
Mad man made an aphex twin generator, great job Ned that’s some proper Ableton witchcraft 🧙
8 minutes in = Jones out of Nathan Barley. Ned Rush/Ned Smanks mashup. Brilliant. "When you're quite finished, please" :D
🥝 that ds kick goes hard
🥝Always find your generated chaos inspirational. Thanks for all you create 🥝
🥝 great stuff. Thanks man.
This blew my fucking mind.
i dont even make music. i have a cracked version of ableton i touched for maybe a total of 4 hours. i just watch this for the fun of it.
great stuff, kinda makes me want to learn it.
My new ned rush favorite video 🥝
Absolutly love this 🥝
I could watch you doing crazy stuff for 2h. So much new techniques I learn here. Thx🥝
Thank you for your videos and tutorials! Your videos inspire me to learn more about Ableton tools and VST. Through your videos I learn how to use ableton tools to bring my musical ideas to life. I think you make one of the best music guides around. Please don't stop making music and stuff!
you are a genius
This is mad genius. I love my breakcore and you really just made my day. I already started doing this with a drum rack ,perc rack and bass rack wreaking havoc right now
This is so god damn cool
🥝🥝🥝
I loved this video so much! You're a true legend Ned!
Raving so hard I dropped my steak slice
🥝 I finished watching the video. Some parts are incredibly good, while others are not as impressive. I would try to multitrack record them so that I can have everything separated and then arrange, mix, and match the good bits. This is, I suppose, a very good strategy to cultivate ideas for a truly brutal breakcore tune. To me, this is one of the best videos you've made.
This is pretty much the soundtrack to my 20's 😅
😄🥝 loved the idea of randomly run tracks like this🙌🏼
Good stuff! 🥝
42:50 This is why I *always* have Bird's rolling sampler running on the master bus. Lets me always grab a sample of anything that happens in the DAW after the fact.. :)
Totally satisfying. Thanks for this.
🥝 Thanks Ned - this is inspirational stuff!
IMO you're most impressive result yet! Loved every second, and keen to have a go
this is what i love about Ned´s channel. organised mayhem!
🥝 amazing...
Not my genre, but some absolutely brilliant and inspiring generative stuff going on there. I love it and I'm definitely stealing some of these ideas.
Have you also considered using Macro Variations?
Breakcore 4 life baby!❤❤❤ Very cool to see!
One of your best, Ned.
20:05 - 20:25 - Comedy gold!
Amazing stuff as usual ! And really useful technics, thank you very much 🤘
That was really educative thank you !
Well, I now have to subscribe
🥝
loved every part of the video and would love to see you do one of 4 hours where you create and produce a full song really
the best channel thanks for all your work
This video is a cardio exercise based around primal fear
Now I have to think about Andrew Huberman Tate Peterson Breakcore🤣
Gabber fist activated as soon as those two beat repeats were added for the fills! 🥝
We definitely do want a four hour Ned Rush making music video thankyouplease..
Very brilliant ! Sounds a lot like AFX madness - have you already made a track out of your sounds, some music one can listen to?
Lovely mash........
Would def watch a 4hr Ned Rush video.......🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝
Brilliant stuff 👌
This video is incredible - such a creative way of making beats, and such a great vibe! It got me all fired up and wanting to experiment.
I'm new to Ableton and, as a way of learning, I recreated the A-Z list of breaks by going through the same process as you did on your A-Z of classic Break series and I learnt so much! It's an efficient and effective way of preparing breaks, ready for use in other projects.
in this video, you use the A-Z breaks and you pull them in from your 'Wav 48k Stereo' folder - can I ask, how did you extract the processed breaks from your A-Z project to get them all neatly in to the 'Wav 48k Stereo' folder and what file type are they?
Thanks for the inspiration!
Its dope Ned!
yesss 🥝 🥝🥝🍉 so much fun and inspiring ideas !
always awesome!
absolutely absurd. you mad man
Defo up for much longer streams too man.
this is amazing!!!!!!!!!
Marvelous, as always 🥝
top tier ned this
🥝 & much ❤ thanks man
Bud, I would watch your chaotic generative shenanigans for way longer than four hours. This shit is fascinating, you've completely changed the way I use Ableton. :kiwi_fruit:
This is so fucking good, :kiwi: I would have loved to have been able to do this 20 Years ago, seriously though how did people do this 20 years ago?? Programming stuff is so laborious!
pretty cool
Fortunately i needed Gabber to sleep in my younger days, so there are no Sounds that could upset me :D
Fantastic, Ned on steroids !
That thumbnail photo are 2 buddies of mine 😂😂😂
It is a old photo from a Gabber Rave. 😅
🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝 Ned ur the goat. NOT ENOUGH KIWIS
insane
wtf this is so good
people can give you very cold stares 👀
Goes hard
🥝 Thank you Ned!
🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝 insane stuff
I don't even like this kind of music and I love this kind of music
luh-luh-leaving a c..comment. Hey you seem very knowledgeable i have a question. Is there any godforsaken way to record those cool aftershocks after you stop recording, such as is the case at 20:10? Every since I got Ableton this has frustrated me to no end. I'm like, why let me hear a sound if I'm not able to record it? Just seems cruel. I feel like there may be more instances where this is the case, which don't come to mind right now.
Anyway thanks for the vid pretty sure I'll learn quite a bit from this!!!
my laptop goes through a Zoom recorder at all times so i just hit record!
A lot of people like Rolling Sampler.
🔥🔥🔥
insaaaaane!!!!!
Extremme pp beat
"Ain't it funky??"
Good times
There used to be a Livecut vst for randomizing breakbeats, but it doesn’t work anymore in modern systems (audio keeps getting cut off). I don’t have ableton, so I wonder if there’s a modern vst that can replace Livecut
🥝 This is an exciting Kiwi Robot Magic Adventure ❤
Oh Marty!
Four more hours! 🥝
oh shit letsgooo
😊
36:18 🤣
when release?
