The scene with Shauna and Callie is one of my favorites in the whole series. She came at her mom like that and Shauna said "bitch you really thought."

When I watched I realized that Shauna is still a teenager emotionally. Callie is awful but so is her mom.
@@Cheesycat948 I totally agree with that. I watched a video where a psychiatrist analyzed the show and he made the same point: trauma tends to halt people's development at the moment it happened. In Shauna's case, that was when she was a teenager.

Fun fact: in the original pilot writtten in 2019, there's a female teacher who's asked to join the team on the trip. While the girls are at the kegger, she's at a bar with Coach Ben who's giving her a briefing on soccer rules. They share a drunken kiss, then he goes to see his boyfriend.

any gay vibes you got from jackie and shauna at first is very intentional LOL most fans believe there was a lot subtext there between them of that kind of teenage girl friendship that borders that homoromantic line that makes you insane and do awful things (aka shauna sleeping with jeff behind jackies back)

39:45 - In hindsight I don’t think Misty thought that destroying the black box would cause them to be out there for 18 months…Truthfully she probably thought it would buy her a few extra days out there.
Either way it was prolly the most psychotic thing shes done in the entire show and pretty much everything that happens after is ultimately her fault
