Homelander is the best part of the show. I’d never seen that actor before he is so amazing and just gets better. Hes so scary and menacing it’s amazing.
Anthony Starr is excellent as Homelander. He is also in a show called Banshee which is amazing and was slept on since it was on Cinimax. It has that 80s action movie vibe to it.

Episode CHERRY: the scene where the senator is confronted with the tape is so f up! We’re primed to root againts politicians (with just cause). But even though that man had just found out he was low key r@ped, he was all there ready to defend gay love 😂. Also, he didn’t lie, the worker he hired was a gorgeous GROWN woman. So the evil manipulators ready to use our bias are Vought. (And our beloved petty pumps were eating it up ❤)
homelander is so fucked up and evil because he was raised in a lab without parents, without love, only the scientists and their desire to make him the greatest hero. that’s also how madelyn was able to manipulate him so efficiently until his eyes were opened at the end, it was weird parental/sexual manipulation all in one
A great series to watch with someone who likes the same material I’ve been watching with a friend me and her love it a lot , and normally she’s super judgmental of tv series and movies
The Female of the species. love that episode. Kimiko is one of my favorite characters and little spoiler, her and Frenchie are my favorite couple. Also, the way you guys just keep calling stuff that will actually happen is hilarious
The only thing I will say is that I hope you watch Gen V before the 4th season of the boys because it is supposed to tie the shows together leading in to the 4th season.
They really made it 8 episodes without realizing that homelander is the strongest being on the planet that could wipe out millions of people on a whim. "just fire his assss" is a wild statement like that would do anything. attention to detail is astonishing.
