The episode where Laura Lee dies was confirmation that there was some supernatural shit going ok. Cuz the plane itself was fine but the bear randomly caught fire and something def doesn’t want them to leave
exactly. I saw someone on tumblr say that it wasnt supernatural and was just their mental illnesses/trauma like okay then explain Laura Lee's bear suddenly bursting into flames when the rest of the plane was fine🤨

It's certainly safer than eating plants non-digestable to humans or anything that could j ust cause vomiting or diarrhea. You'd just die of dehydration.

Part of me feels like some spirit or something didn’t want Laura Lee to go. Cause if you look closely, it was just the teddy bear that caught fire. It wasn’t like the engine or anything. I don’t know… that’s just something that I noticed watching the show. I just finished the first season two days ago. I’m so glad to two are watching it. 😘

If you want a show that is brilliantly made all around and will get you SO invested, Haunting of Hill House. Without question. It’s a stand alone season, 10 episodes. And it is a masterpiece.

The whole Flannagan verse really (minus maybe midnight club, which is not the best...) Is GOATED.
I love that we had the sane reaction to Travis and Nat making out on the plane. I feel like it went over a lot of people's heads but on top of the disgust from them getting together, i had the disgust of then doing that on basically a gravesite. At least grave adjacent. They buried them just outside. But the plane is where they died, and the plane seats are still covered in dry blood.
once again crying my eyes out for jackie taylor. even people in this comments SHOCK ME. I don't really get what there it's for people not to like, she's just a teenage girl who had zero survival insticts. She is doomed by the narrative and so tragic, her and shauna are canon by the writers, imagine dying hearing your biggest insecurities in the mouth of the one you love who crearly knows how to hurt you. She will forever break my heart :( the writers also said she just gave up and k worded herself, she knew it was happening but it was more bearable thank thinking shauna hated her.

Jackie just rubbed me the wrong way. I can’t fault either if them, because they’re literal teenagers, but Jackie absolutely had no right to partake in near-misogyny because her friend lied to her. Didn’t she say many times how she was questioning if she really wanted to be with Jeff. Doesn’t make it okay, but it definitely doesn’t paint her in a better light.

it's interesting that in jackie's diary she has her favorites... and Titanic is listed. titanic didn't come out until winter 1997 well after jackie's death.
i felt sorry for jackie. she was supposed to be the leader they all turned to and she crumbled like a sand castle

I think the most obvious answer is compensation. The victims of plane crashes, especially those who were lost in the forest for 18 months, should have been paid very large compensation, which would definitely be enough for half a life

Adult Jeff went on a rant about how they had this "one child" and they fkd it up blah, blah, blah ... and he already admitted that he read Shauna's journals... so I was thinking maybe she didn't put it in her journal ... and then I was re-watching this and I remembered that she definitely did put it in her journal because that's how Jackie found out. Did Shauna go back and delete those pages, lol? Rip them out of the journal? Well then what was the point of keeping the journals in a locked safe in the first place?
