IMO since you can't NOT pay the delivery charge, it should always be included in pricing. Lariat Hybrid AWD starts at $38,330 after destination before you start adding extra options. ಥ_ಥ
I really like the idea of the hybrid awd and the adaptative cruise control that comes with lariat pkg plus additional 4k towing. But here is my problem. I have a 2022 base xl with co pilot 360 and hitch. I paid $22,250 before taxes tag title and jumping 17k in price for the extra ideas above is too much of a leap
Nice truck, I love the color. The Maverick has been a huge success for Ford. Maybe other manufactures will come to realize not everyone can afford a $60,000-$100,000 truck.
Would think they would have realized that a long time ago. You can't sell product and make money if most people can't afford what you're trying to sell.
@@middleagedbaldguy6774 being "down" on massive record numbers isn't really so bad. You can't grow indefinitely. They're absolutely not having problems selling these
I won't lie - I'm disappointed in that Ford upped their prices dramatically over the past 2 years - that said they are improving the overall look and feature/content. I'm still not selling my Santa Cruz Limited but I would compare again for sure.
In January EU got a PHEV AWD Ranger. 8 mo later, we in the US do not get a PHEV AWD Maverick? Maybe next year? Can this Maverick be toad behind a motorhome? !
Try 30k. Dealer addendums. We looked for months last year. Two states and about 12 dealerships. All had low or no stock and what was available had a "market adjustment" IE, pay us more than the vehicle is actually worth. The other side of the coin was being constantly told we can "afford more truck". The dealership we finally settled on actually tried to change the price mid deal after making it clear we were paying cash and had zero use for their "financing". The dealership experience is just flipping awful I doubt we ever buy another Ford.
I like this truck boo boo but only for my boo Shyam so he can bust through them barricades in the hood where we live!!!! Not for me cause my yams do Bimmer and Benz only!!!!!
The little "bracket" in the back row underneath the center armrest is Ford's attempt at making this truck appeal to "makers" there were dimensions and project ideas put out there when the truck launched and people could have crafted / 3d printed things like cup holders - phone holders, etc. for these sockets - Ford was even going to sell things based on customer designs for the Maverick. I've not really been too up on what has been going on lately with the model or Ford brand but that was the idea back at launch time....
A Newley Refreshed Maverick seems a bit more game changer to see how great it looks for a subcompact pickup to give all-standard AWD as a hybrid.🙌🏻💯 Love to see how Ford is managing changes so far.
I'm glad I bought a 2024 XL Ecoboost. It is a great truck, has good power, and gets good gas mileage. To me the new bigger screen and new front end are not worth the extra money. Plus, you can't get the XL in front wheel drive anymore with the ecoboost engine.
Truck is useless if there isn't any inventory. I live in NY and dealerships don't have any. And if one does have a couple there charging 10,000 to 15,000 above MRSP..
>starting at $26k Trying to compete against midsized trucks now? A Nissan Frontier starts at $30K and can easily be found used for less. Unlike the maverick where a used one cost more than msrp.
@@ninjasarereal5883 that’s still not unreasonable. A $27K hybrid truck is an extremely good value. Adding a push start is not important to a lot of people in that price range. Adding one would cost another $1K. I think it makes sense to not offer it on the lowest trim.
Why. Bother. You can get a very nice used Tundra for less... without all the recalls. A hybrid, turbocharged ICE, with a CVT transmission... nothing could possibly go wrong here. Thanks for showing, I was curious how roomy it was inside. I was actually impressed by that.
These seem to hold their value a bit too well, I see used 2022 models selling for more than they were sold for. The gas mileage and insurance difference per year versus a Tundra is also massive. The hybrid models and transmissions are actually an Atkinson cycle developed by Ford but it's a Toyota design, Toyota gave them the design and Ford gave Toyota a V8 for their Tundras over a decade ago. They're actually super reliable, not sure about the rest of the truck but the powertrain is top tier.

Ford already had trucks under $60k. Who doesn't? People obviously want expensive trucks since they're still selling well
@@veganpotterthevegan Have you seen the last two quarters sales numbers? I wouldnt describe new car sales, especially full size trucks as "good".

It's a truck, not a toad
The front end looks so much better. Before, it looked like a pick up truck Brian Peppers.
Remember when ford lied and said starting Around 20k msrp? Lmao now these trucks are nearly double
Get ready for the markup
Even though I usually stick to the Japanese brands, I gotta say Ford is killing it with their style and designs lately.
Just checked the order guide, Lariat Hybrid AWD MSRP starts at $38,330 after destination. HAH! I remember when the Maverick was an inexpensive pickup.
Unfortunately, the Ford reliability is still unchanged. So much of me wants the AWD Hybrid but I've gotta see how the bugs stack up first.
@@BoopSnoot CRV Touring is 42k, but with this you get a truck that tows 4k 🤷♂️
A lot of recalls now the wiper motor and back up camera is problematic.
This started around $20,000. Now starts at $26,000 because how many they sold. Smh.

The thing in the back seat is for 3D printed custom accessories, Ford made a big deal about that when they roll the MAVERICK out
Nice truck...Ford did a good job with the design
if the f150 had an interior like this the price would drop this is what most americans want
Ford has no issues selling F150s to people that don't need so much vehicle. They have no incentive to make it cheaper.

really nice paint job
the only thing missing for me is the raptor trim. the Bronco, F-150 and Ranger has it just complete pack and offer it on the maverick.
They’re all sold out as soon as it goes online..
Thank Ford for jacking up the price...I will pass...junk like my Windstar
Love the channel guys but a $2,600 bump for base level is obscene!
What is is missing a manual to bring back the mini truck vibe
I wish the Bronco Sport prices would look similar. But they want to charge more money for a less powerful powertrain. GRRR!
It's a lot cheaper to make a bed than an SUV with more material behind the seats, and hatch.

Awesome video of the redesigned Ford Maverick!!! Great job guys!!
9:03 wow I never knew that 😂
I really wish that Ford give the option to change that chime on their vehicles!! I hate that sound. otherwise the Truck looks really good.
Waste of $$$ here.

i cant wait for ford to make like 6 of these, 4 in xlt trims and 2 lariat non-hybrid with over msrp price tags!!! gonna be sweet!!!!
I wish you had shown a little bit the inside of the XLT for comparison
Made it worse making the maverick top trim it was cool because you could get it for around 32k it's not cool paying over 40k for at all ever
Cadê o bronco outerbanks 2025???? Não vi em nenhum canal!!!

Love your car video
Can order this all year or just August?
From 19k to 26k in just a couple years. Hard pass
It looks alright, I like the green
Ford should update their steering and buttons, they cheap
Nice
Drove a pre Owned Hybrid one Nice truck 🙂
I wish ford would stop with these two tone interiors.
Top one cost $45k 😮
Oh, no! No factory fog lights? WTF?
Its hilarious to me that ford is surprised that people want to buy this truck considering its the same size an F150 use to be. What a shocker
Great video!
18hp less? Lame
No Fog lights?
They need to give the tremor 4000 lbs towing.
Have they updated the escape for 2025 year?
The 2025 Escape has very few updates but has several deletions of standard and optional equipment.
@@danb4755 oh come on why would they do that!
How much for maverick xlt hybrid awd?
See the comment below for pricing. Ford released it after the video was posted.

Seems a bit underpowered. Also, eCVT? Ugh.
diesel wth manual will be the best option!
