Increased, excessive napping could be an early warning of Alzheimer's disease, according to research published in August by the peer-reviewed journal Alzheimer's & Dementia.
When people hear about Alzheimer's they immediately think about memory loss, Lea Grinberg, professor of neurology at the University of California San Francisco told USA TODAY.
Grinberg and 18 other scientists from the University of California San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley and the University of Sao Paulo, among others, worked on the paper.

Bro I wake up at 4 am whenever I do that
In college i always feel sleepy in class, when i really cant take it anymore,i sleep w/o realizing, then probably out of instinct, i wake up after a few minutes. Id feel a bit embarrassed but grateful my professors dont call me out, but i swear afterwards i can focus for the remaining time in class.
Bro I fell asleep at 7pm and woke up at 5am
Your nap needs a napping
that's just a really early sleep lol
I for real need to stop napping too long, because I always forget my homework and other things to do.
Me too.😐
“Or you could disrupt your regular nighttime sleep cycle” bold of you to assume I have a regular sleep cycle
1:10 don’t catch your Z’s after 3 p.m.!
Also me about to take a nap at 4 after school:
"Dont catch your z's after 3pm!"
Students watching this at 2am 💀
20Minutes is a gold power nap🤗
Bruh went home one day for a nap on my break and woke up at 7pm my shift ended at 6pm 😭😭
As soon as I wake up I need a nap 🤣
I just woke up now from a Power Nap! (2 hour nap 😅)
I do this by cutting the 20 mins by 5 mins each, while my phone on hand, using the alarm so i wont drift off deep.
I’m going to take a nap now 😊
It is only me just can't take a nap? The only time I took a nap was at 3pm, I was very sick and couldn't eat well... I was in bed all day.. I had a "lucid nap".. probably because there was much light in my room but I was so tired.. basically a lucid dream.. but it was a nap. That was good but.. *no. nap aren't for me*
hello from the other side
Im 34 and have lost all ability to take naps during the day 😢
A 10 minute to 60 minute nap is just a nap. Definitely not a power nap. A power nap is when you're so exhausted, you close your eyes, and within SECONDS you wake up and you're more awake then youve ever felt
