Thanks Jerry! Getting this motor for my 14x36 jon. Came with a mud motor which is cool but 6hp doesn't quite get it done in some of the larger waters I like. For the price I can just swap out motors depending on where I'm heading.
@@JustBlazin2001I'm liking this motor. Still impressed for the price.
Motor sounds really good, nice demonstration! Nice custom stand too!
Thanks, yeah it sounds great. Now, if I only had a trailer for the boat. 😂 It's amazing what you can build out of scrap crate metal. I robbed the wheels off my old riding mower deck. 😂
@@JerryHawk250 who needs a trailer just throw it in the back of your truck and go 😂
@@herbiesgarage681 😂 believe me I've thought about it but the boats way too long and wide to fit.
@@JerryHawk250 😂
Can't wait for mine. Supposed to be here in the next few days.
Sweat! 👍
Does it have "CE" label on the small side data plate?
I know it would be fake, but i think it will work anyway
@@mauritz1774 yes it does.
Hay any updates on the new outboard and title registration ?? Really interested in possibility of getting one .
Yes, The seller i have linked set me the MCO the same day i requested it. Very responsive seller.
@@larryalexander4833 the reason they don't send it with the motor is because they have to verify the serial number that is on the motor.
@@JerryHawk250 👍
Good morning sounds good. Did it come with paperwork and title to register it . ?
I haven't looked through the paperwork that came with it yet. I know other have though.
Okay, i just checked. I have to contact the seller and request the MCO with the the serial number stamped on the motor. That's simple enough.
There is a hang tag it does not look like a title or a bill of sale or a title of origin it is on the motor it's like a little index card and that's the only thing it came with I took it to the DMV and she said yeah that sure title of origin and she used that here in Missouri to make my title and get my sticker for my motor and the state of Missouri sent me a title and mail in about a week didn't take very long at all
The lady at the DMV knows these motors she kind of rolled her eyes when I showed it to her she knew 🤣 it took her a little extra longer cuz she was training somebody but I spent a good couple hours at the DMV
@@josephatnip2398 I requested the MCO from the seller and was sent out the same day. They had to verify the serial number on the motor before sending out the MCO.
I just bought the 6hp
Good afternoon sir . Im very interested in purchasing one these outboards. I followed the link to seller on Amazon. Looked for contact information to ask a question of the seller but didn't see contact information. I not accustomed to purchasing through Amazon. Just want make sure i can get the correct documents to register in my state of SC. Wildlife department here are super picky . Boat and engine both have to be titled and registered separately. Just curious if you might give any pointers on best way to contact the seller on Amazon? Sorry hate to bother you .
@@larryalexander4833 this seller will get you the documents you need quick. I just got back from my maiden voyage. Motor ran great but will need a 11 pitch prop. It turns 6200 rpms and need to get them down to about 5500. I hit 24mph quick then shut it down as I'm still in the break in period. I'll post a video later tonight. I wouldn't hesitate to buy.

Hello @larryalexander4833. I live in South Carolina as well and I'm thinking about getting one of these outbords as well! Just wondering if you purchased one and how did it go with titling? You're response would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.
@@mrmikeprice1980 hello no I didn't buy one. I was intending on buying one . But I ended up buying a boat and motor from someone in my area. And yes I was concerned about doing the paperwork/registration in SC. They can be hard to deal with in SC. In the very least our Dnr department is very slow on getting the paperwork done and are super picky.
Thank you again for responding! I'm still debating on if I'm going to purchase one just because I know how strict South Carolina can be. Best of luck with your new boat and motor hope all is well!
@@mrmikeprice1980 I would just make sure that you buy one from a seller that will provide the correct title of origin. I believe it would be ok with that .
I watched videos and read some forums. They claim this is clone of a 15hp Yamaha and parts interchange.?,
@@larryalexander4833 that is correct.
I got one they're pretty much the exact clone of the Yamaha 15f all the parts are replaceable with the Yamaha parts
