I had no Idea you made all the music. I love how tasteful your videos are done. Binge watching RN. 🤯
Banger of a video fams. The 2000D looks nice, keep up the hard work
i got this when it came out and its a really good case, great video guys and sick tunes nick
Another great look case and build guys, thanks for sharing 👍
I'm glad to see your review. I already purchased one of these and am waiting for parts to build mine. Mostly I was concerned about the thermals so thanks again. Cheers
Just got new speakers and stopped skipping builds for the sake of the music! Your stuff is pretty good! Thank you!
The opening sequence walking backwards to the standing desk was pretty slick with the un-cut shot.
Appreciate this! I've been practicing my walking and filming haha!
I love this case and hope an updated version comes out like, yesterday, cause I'd buy 5 if:
- The psu cable is routed through the interior.
- The top panel is actually mesh, and not just for looks.
- It has proper 25mm fan support
Have a look at the Silverstone Alta G1M. It's a similar footprint and supports M-ATX. However, it takes most of its airflow from the bottom via a 180mm (Air Penetrator) fan, and IO is accessible from the top. There is a 360mm radiator bracket on one side, and you can get away with fitting 2x 120mm fans on one side if you don't want 2.5in/3.5in drive mounts.
I share your opinion, expect on the 25mm fans: for me it's great to push the market in the direction of smaller/more efficient fans (for mini-ITX, dont care when you have a 1billion liters PC). My probleme if the inverse: i would love thinner fans for the radiator, or better a slimmer radiator. Something like the cooling power of a 240, but longer and thinner in 360 for this kind of case. Probably not gonna happen, but meh i said it somewhere ^^
Honestly, I think this case looks so much better without RGB, something about ITX cases always mesh so god damn well with no RGB, and while I'll probably never get this case, I would probably get rid of the stock RGB fans and that RGB controller and just some nice quiet black fans in there and it would looks just so clean
I totally agree 👍
Beautiful video
Great music as always
I bought one and when I had it in person the plastic build of the case was really disappointing. It’s nice that it fits a 360mm AIO in it while maintaining a small footprint on the desk. I ended up returning mine though and going with the Hyte Revolt 3 l. Even though it only supports a 280mm radiator it does have better build quality and materials. Plus the power plug cable isn’t draped down the back of the case. The 2000D is a nice concept but I think they need to reduce the plastic and handle the power plug better. Also the lost opportunity from the concept design of having a top exhaust fan was a disappointment.
"Fairly decent small form factor case" is the perfect way to describe this. It's a great attempt by Corsair, but there are definitely some bad v1 design decisions. 25mm thick fans should fit, and in fact I've been able to fit three NF-A12x25 fans on the front, but that required I remove my motherboard's pre-installed I/O shield. Seems like a silly oversight on Corsair's part.
Corsair did that so that only their fans could fit
@@vincentpatrick886 nah, my noctua and scythe 15mm thick fans fit just fine. It’s a small oversight.
@@erod3975 Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM,
might want to double check cpu cooler maximum height.. it says 90mm on the video.. but I've seen other reviewers fit a Nhd15 in that case
Great review! Can you review the Jonsbo U4 Mini next? Thanks!
This vid was fantastic, well done (again). Any plans to build/review the ThermalTake Tower 200?
is it just me or is the video lagging?
Was wondering when you were going to do a build in the 2000D
I really wish we had the 4000d airflow but in matx form factor im going to build my first pc for myself and i absolutely love the 4000d but i wish we had a smaller version the case looks amazing
I'd love to make a build in this case but i'm afraid my GPU (powercolor 7900XTX Hellhound) won't fit, it has the exact same length as supposedly allowed at 320mm but it's also a chonky card at 3+ slots
I'm interested in this case but, one question. As the I/O ports are facing down and you connect to them by removing that plastic cover at the bottom of the case, how do you install Wi-Fi aerials?
How come a chimney tower case has no top exhaust area?
why would you not do front exhaust and then intake on the radiator so that the gpu and cpu are both getting fresh air
Is It possibile to mount a 4 slots GPU if you plug It to the motherboard before mount the motherboard in the case ?
Seems so big with so less room compared to the Meshroom S which fits a ATX PSU or ATX Motherboard and is a lot smaller
Nick ... would the 38mm radiator from an Arctic AIO fit in this case?
Yeay finally 2000d🎉
The best mini ITX orientation imo, having small footprint is the most important, I don't care about the volume
check the NZXT H1 V2 :)
The hyte revolt 3 and meshroom / meshlicious are smaller cases with the same style
If you really want small the Velka 7 makes this look chunky
What if we take the psu frame out, does the wide GPU fits? I so want to mod the bottom and the top of this case, this is the perfect case for my build. Now... Where is my Dremel?
Does anybody know if this case fits 160mm lenght atx PSU?
Is there room to run push/pull on the 360mm radiator?
I hope you do a build in the Phantex NV5 with a ryzen 7900x you guys helped me 7 years ago with my first pc build now I am building my second pc.
What case would you suggest that has good air flow and easy to take with you. I house sit alot and tired of moving my giant tower back and forth lol.
Love SFF pc cases that don't skimp on front I/O
Keep that case and next May I'll show you how to build a baller Windows 98 rig inside that case.
I’d like to see a Win98 PC in this.
Song ? 9:07
I would appreciate if you tried a build with an air cooler. I've heard that the published specs don't align with what is possible within the case.
I have been thinking about doing it :)
Can you do an air cooler build at some point too? You can fit a pretty beffy cooler in there
Great idea!
Very nice case, but the connections at the bottom is not a good solution :(
I wanted this case, I am glad I watched your review, I see the Asus Tuf 4090 will not fit.... Great review - thanks
Nick is the master of making things fit . . .
🤣🤣
Great video fams. I'd be keen on one of these in white but that would mean buying any ITX and losing m.2 slots. Keep up the hard work.
the way it looks like , does it support MATX mobos and ATX PSUs?
No
How about strix 4090?
Hahaha, you kept the pcpickle!
Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
I have the H1, the reason I don't care for it is cables out the bottom
I really like this case, but feel they could have made it slightly smaller to compete more directly with the H1v2 and Meshlicious
My 4080 is a 3.5 slot (71mm thick), do you think it would fit in the case?
It won't I have this case and I had a 3.5 slot GPU and it didnt fit
No way
i think the front/side had some missed opportunites for 180mm fans :/
That's what he said.
I really miss the itx gpus
Basically Corsair made their own Meshalicious lol. This is beautiful tho
This would be a perfect custom NAS case.
I dont think so at all.
@@GearSeekersEven if you didn't use an ITX board? Seems that without the GPU it could easily be modded for 3.5" drives. Say 8 below the Motherboard area?
cable management is bad with using a noctua dh-15 for the front pannel cables
Its been almost a year since 40 series released. I really dont know why we still can see these big brands release vertical tower which cant even fit those longer 4 slots GPU. This kind of SFF case size, its clearly no one give a f about portability. Why not just redesign the damn case with an inch or two wider to support latest gen GPU?
I think you'd have to go for server itx mobos for 10gig. For eg asrockrack but then ofc other features are non existant.
..so which 4090 cards do fit in this case?
Where I come from 4090 FE is absolutely impossible to buy, so then there all the other brands and none of them list there cards with this unofficial "x slot" standard that RUclips content makers use. So since that is not a standard they are using then one has to keep to the factual and actual dimensions..
Question still remains, which I rephrase "which _whatever x-slot cards_ do actually fit in this case (based on thickness and obviously can properly attached to the PCIE slot..)?
I think i would love to build a small form factor pc and then i stop thinking.
412 Then many cant use it. Many who use ITX are attracted to being able to fit large cards. The 4090 FE is hard to get. 907 great tunes!
They really need to fix that back panel and where the GPU sits. It’s really poor airflow. Love the case and almost bought it, but had to go elsewhere ultimately.
Hey Nick, what is a "PC Pickle List?" 11:34
It's a running gag from last video where we discussed my love for pickles
@@KlaireGearSeekers oh, I saw that lol
Noti gang
I like this case just wish you can put a RTX 4070ti in it but I like it guys 🤣😜👍🏻
Wish they would sell a non fan version.
They do
3000d video please?
would you like if a company that sold you a product to then manipulate that product to advertise their stuff on it ? well that is what nzxt did with my kraken .
Corsair QX fan kits should only come with the 90-degree cable on one end. Their included straight cable is total e-waste!!!! Only to charge you more money!!! The starter kit costs way too much to not give you the 90-degree 600mm cable. Straight cable = E-waste!!!
This case feels like a real missed opportunity, especially given the Silverstone Alta G1m is mostly the same size but supports mATX...
Everyone: We want M-ATX of 4000D.
Corsair: ITX 2000D incoming.
They had one job.
$200 for a case and they still can't figure out how to put in a single plug for the front power/reset buttons.
At least 2 reviews of the same case on YT within 24h, somehow you have also got Corsair (overkill 1000W) power supply and AiO. "The case you have been requesting..."
C'mon, don't make it worse.
Very nice for a stealth build, not this RGB crap !
How I build something from a trash can.
Mac pro 2013 is a trash can so there you go your dream computer
@@thisthingmint250 Ahahahaha 😂😂😂😂
Its been done before...
This does look like a trash bin tbf
You have some pretty neat looking trash bins :O
I bought this case for sale at 89$, and even at that price, it's still not worth.
- Poor appearance design
- Low effort quality finishes
- This might hurt but: very stupid interior space optimize
But for the low price THAT I BOUGHT, i will keep it as a reminder not to buy cosair first attemp at anything at all.
We deserve more when paying 139$ for an ITX case.
25 liters.
Small form factor my ass. I have multiple micro atx and an atx case that are smaller
tbh this case looks terrible. Too big and still the volume is not utilized well, even with the size you cant fit big 4090 GPUs, the motherboard IO is pointing down and even with 6 fans the temps are just meh
This is not a MINI ITX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why so stupid Corsair ?
Why don't you let Aiflow cooler from bottom and move hot air to the top Air cooler, Like xbox series X.
the back IO location lol nice idiotic design
It's a good case, except that the front fan clearance is dependent on how large the VRM heatsink of your mobo. For example, using ROG B750-i will block 25mm thick fan www.igorslab.de/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/23-1.jpg. Super frustrating.
