This performances is really special in some way. You can see and hear that Freddie is tired vocally and then Roger comes and take the lead vocals to give Freddie a break.

This was released early in 1979 and only performed live that year. The song's vocals and piano is so fast-paced that it was probably difficult for Freddie to perform in the midst of an already energetic, two hour show. You can see that Roger fills in vocals for Freddie which I've seen in the other live versions of this song, as well. (I can only think of three that I've seen.) Currently, when Queen+ performs DSMN, it is noticeably at a slower pace.
    RIP, Mr. Fahrenheit.

That was one thing about Queen, they never performed a song the same way at every concert. I am thinking that this was in Japan but not sure of the year but by the song I would say from The Jazz tour.
It might be 77 or 78, Thank you for all your reactions! you might want to try Liar live at the Rainbow, it gives everyone a chance to shine.

There aren't too many live video versions of this song.

Love this live version .. Freddie is very bouncy!! 🌀 Anyway, every time I hear this song I think of the pop zombie cult classic SHAUN OF THE DEAD. 🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️ The song regained popularity when it was featured in the movie’s zombie bar fight scene. Here’s the link for that scene 😂 ruclips.net/video/W4tVH7BPb-Q/видео.html

I still think the boxing day 1979 at Hammersmith-Odeon is a better performance.
