Yer I've checked the pump, had botha 780 and 782 on it, nothing comes out of the injector, i stuck onto rail and into tub and nothing came out, 🤔 but could the gear be broken inside the rocker cover 🤔 there's a thought I sure they have had the fuel pipes the wrong way round 🤔
Yer mate there's a C clip that pops out the back of the pump then it starts weeps from it, very common on these I bought the van the guy said it needed a belt!! Someone had nicked the belt and the pump 🤦♂️🙄 luckily I found this one O.E for sale 30 quid belt was 25 quid 👍
I have since doing timing chain, tensioner etc along with head gasket, a light tapping noise coming from the timining chain area.... Any ideas.. Before I need to take the timing cover off.
@@tinker-time yeah I used the kit. I'm hoping it's not a faulty tensioner. Had that happen before. On a merc v6! The head when skimmed, the valves were shaved a tad. I was told all would be fine. Other than that. Everything went great. Also I notice light tapping when taking foot off and letting coast, using engine to slow vehicle. Timing chain? It's new guides tensioner chain etc like 3 weeks ago.

Red was beside the plug you got me to check
White is at the right side under the preheater or next to the grey plug there

Also now noticed that disconnecting the injector reduces noise. First on left. No1? Going to put some atf in the fuel see if it sorts it.
2.0 no 1 is time chain side, worth try with some cleaner 👍
Yes yeah break that’s what I’m saying I’ve changed about 3 for being snapped
think it comes from thinking the doors open but locked and trying to open it, never had the doors go tho
