Hi Ben. I haven't gotten to do anything for about five years now because life got in the way. I am working on building another trailer. It is a vintage canned ham camp trailer. I am decking it out to be an 1950's/1960's diner. It will only be a snack wagon for now but I am toying with the idea doing burgers because it goes with the theme. Good to see ya.
Your videos are helpful, I'm going to be opening a sub trailer soon, ham is the biggest expense by far,but I'm very optimistic.. now is the time for mobile foods
Great bunch of videos! You definitely break down the whole business. My son and I are thinking of opening a small stand outside of an old (busy) country store. Most of the dogs available at our supermarkets seem awful small these days like 8 and 10 to 1. What size of hotdog is the best to sell?
I have a triple crock pot, two folding tables, and a roasting pan. I could start ....if my state didn't demand the four wash sink. It's literally my biggest hold up.
And before you ask, I lost my job, and sold my junk car already to buy food for my kids. No family, no friends that can help. Just praying to God for help.
I don't like the negativity I am buzzing here. I'm usually a very positive Aries that just "gets it done". But I can't see the light. Squinting to find it!!!
Heyo! Arizona girl here! I've been debating different ways to go vend the mini bundt cakes i make from my grandmothers recipes. Theres a swap meet that only happens on Fridays and Saturdays but i wasn't sure if swap meets would let me sell there. Would you happen to have any knowledge on that? Also with this ridiculous heat, do you think selling lemonade with my cakes would be a good idea? Guess im just looking for some reassurance cause I'm horrible indecisive.
I live in South Carolina and we are thinking of starting a hotdog cart. Do we have to have a commissary kitchen? If so, how would we go about doing that?
Hey Ben..instead of a price for hotdogs can I use the "donation " method to avoid getting food license..Going to be traveling with 5th wheel toyhauler and wondering if I can just setup at campgrounds without getting permits for every county or state?

I have animals and don't trust my kitchen as a cottage kitchen.
Tryna yard sale the rest of my stuff but haven't had one customer. Bad location. Please Lord Jesus, show me a way.

Health departments will get you. I'd be surprised if a campground would allow it without insurance and an inspection.
