What a fun interview. You have done so much good for so many people Ben. Over the years I have appreciated you so much and the encouragement you have given me and others. It has been five years since I have done any real vending because of health issues in my family and I am needed and now being a grandma is the biggest thing in my life. I have an eight year old grandson who has been touched with the bug helping me with the little I have done. I am designing a lemonade stand for him and will get it built here in the next little while. I am still working on my latest concession trailer and will send pictures when done. Thanks for being you.
Harley, your testimony inspires me to follow my dreams. I was just handed a hot dog cart and a food trailer free of charge. My world is looking up! God bless you!😊
That was an incredible interview Ben!!! I just hope one day you'll be able to interview me in New Hampshire. Ain't lots of food vendors here maybe 5 with me included. I am not making a killing but I am working hard on introducing more items to increase sales!! Ben you have been an inspiration to me too and that is how I got started. Great interview hope to see more like them!! Love you brother❤🙏
David... thank you so much! I don't think it's ever a lack of food items... it's always one of these: display, pricing and/or location. Email me... I'd love to get you to wherever you want to be. :) Much love Brother!
Your story is inspiring thank you. I've started hotdog vending this summer and lack of time is my issue because I work another full-time job 58 hours a week but I'm pushing forward to make vending my career thanks again Gob bless.
I often listen to podcasts and the majority i turn off straight away.. But something about your guest and what he is saying made me watch it all. Some great little one liners and pragmatic inspirational talking here... Both the guest and the host could easily sell this as inspiration for other people contemplating start ups.. Great interview this one ! one of the best. full of natural enthusiasm and positivity.
Man, this puts such a fire under my butt! My family and I started vending 2 months ago, and it hasn't been the best, but after watching your videos, Ben, I'm learning so much. I'm learning where I'm going wrong and what I need to start doing. Have a great day!
This post is very inspirational to me. Thank U both for sharing ur testimonies. I pray to share mine with u one day soon. What ur doing is my dream 🤗 God continue to bless u two and ur families. ❤❤❤
This was so amazing to watch. Very inspirational. Thank you for sharing this. This is an example of TRUE success. I believe that God has used you to be a blessing to a lot of people.
Thank you so much! I believe God will use you in the same way . Just keep chasing whatever dream He has given you, seek Him first , and all these things will be added unto you !!!
Tbh, ... I'm not at all interested in selling hot Dogs etc ~ but ~ I just had to leave a Comment on this wonderful, down to earth, refreshing, raw, inspiring, and *beautifully transparent* interview ! Such a RARE experience to see / hear now a days! : ) Sooooooo Up-lifting !!! Thank-you so Much for sharing ... & yes, CARING means SHARING ! I appreciate the both of you Sharing your Life Story & Showing people that they '''can''' do this : ) I also ''agree' that more Hot Dog carts will mean more money BUT ... [usually] not more Happiness !! In closing, ... Hope You & your Families HAGreatWeekend !! !!
Great interview! So glad to see others succeed! I too am in Kentucky, out in Knott county. I own Dad's Dawgs and Catering and just started out! Loving every bit of it! Way to go!
I was at Lowes for a year, wasnt the holy grail, now looking for a new spot, this business is not that great, i think it depends on many factors and location is very important, but funding that location isnt easy.
No one said vending is easy. Some people find a great spot right out of the gate, and others have to look around. I would suggest you not commit a whole year to a location before you know how it will produce. Remember hot dog carts and food trucks are mobile.
Thanks for the response man! Is that take home after expenses or 200 a day total? I drive for Lyft and Uber right now and I want to improve my life and was thinking about buying a hot dog cart. Money is tight so I want to make sure it’s a good decision.

How well does barbecue sell?
It does fantastic. There is more competition but it does well... if you state allows from an open cart.
Howdy howdy howdy
