I own this pistol, and it is one of the most accurate and comfortable pistols I have over fired! Even after 9 years and 3 combat tours with the Army! Very glad to see you give it some time in the spotlight Sootch.
With respect to the Sig 226, I’ve owned a 2022 for years and it's lighter, more comfortable, and the de-cocker is smoother. The bore axis is a non-issue. I consider the “heavy” double action trigger a safety feature when carrying one in the pipe. The single action trigger is smooth and consistent. The 2022 is a far better gun than many others in its’ price segment. Mine has a stainless slide and looks expensive, always gets attention at the range.
I have the predecessor SP2009 With the proprietary accessory rail that I never planned to use anyway, I agree with everything you said about this model which is the same as the 2022 and for half what your pay for a quality Sig these are a great deal. I think the only thing wrong with them is that the polymer guns were ahead of their time and not well received. I’ve had mine for about five years now and put thousands of rounds through it most of it steel case, gun runs like butter.
Just got the 357 sig version with the .40 ordered as well. I've heard pretty much nothin but good things about this pistol and will be glad to have it in my 357 Sig family, AND my first Sig Sauer pistol as well!
I have owned a SP 2022 for 6-7 years and purchased it as a 2nd 9mm to my first purchase the Sig Sauer P226 MK25. For durability, reliability, and any condition use the P226 is hard to beat, however the SP2022 is right there with it for about half the price. Both have night sights and I find I shoot the SP2022 better many days than the P226. It is also lighter, 3.9" barrel vs. 4.4 " and as a bigger person makes it a viable carry option. 15 round mags with Mec-Gar 17 rounds around as well it can serve in all the roles. The grip is great, changeable backstraps, very accurate, and I just prefer the DA/SA when not carrying a SAO like a 1911. Great value!
I have over 7000 rounds through this pistol and not one malfunction. I would trust my life to this gun. this is my everyday carry for the last 3 years. it is an amazing weapon.
Same! I got the sp2340 in .40 s&w and it's never had a malfunction yet! My brother in law purchased a glock 23 Gen 4 pretty much brand new, at the same time I bought my pistol and he's had several malfunctions
I have 27,000 rounds through my Sigpro 2022. I trust this gun. Malfunctions? 1 because I didn't seat the magazine in all the way (see how many rounds... oops, one error) 2 do to real crappy ammo (I had a malfunction in my P226 with the same poor ammo). At the time, I was having many malfunctions in my Glock, but that was the year they put in cheaper springs (wider tolerances) and the Glock just couldn't handle the crappy ammo (malfunction after malfunction either light strikes or stove-pipes).
Just bought one here in CA for $689 plus tax. Inflation and scarcity of guns has driven prices up. I still consider it a fair price for a truly fine handgun.
Don, thanks for the review. I just purchased this handgun on Friday morning (10/09/2015). My FFL received it on a consignment from a Pennsylvania State Trooper. The handgun is immaculate and hardly shows any wear whatsoever. The handgun comes with the Sig nite-sights, stainless steel barrel, two magazines, and the two back straps. My price was $350 out the door. I thought it to be an excellent deal with all that i was receiving in the box. I can't wait to take it out for a spin at the range. Chalk another gun sale up to one of your reviews friend!!!!
I personally love this model. It’s light, reliable, accurate, very affordable and very well made overall. It’s definitely my personal sidearm in a zombie apocalypse
Hey Sootch. My brother and I each bought a SigPro 2022 9mm with: two 15-round magazines; night sights, case, paperwork, brush, lock for $499 brand-new about 3 years ago. Still runs like a champ after many rounds. I also have 2x the Mecgar 17-rounders that work well also. The only gripe I have with the firearm, as with many handguns with slide-stops, is that one can accidentally "ride" the slide stops and prevent the the slide from locking back after the last round. Enjoy your SigPro!
French law enforcements have adopted this pistol (in replacement of the beretta 92FS and others) after several tests. It will remain in service until 2022 at least (as his name suggested). The new service round selected for the pistol is the Speer gold dot. As for my french opinion, i think both pistol and cartridge choice are wise. Stay safe!
bought mine here in Montana last year at my local Scheels got it for a steal on black Friday for $299 had to jump on it...my first semi-auto pistol that ive owned...happy with my purchase so far...
I'm proud to announce that in the year 2024, the SP2022 comes with 3 magazines when it ships. At least from buds, anyway, I can't speak for other retailers
Really nice weapon. Bought mine, during this madness, for 550. Came with 2 mags. Better than my Glock 19. Super accurate and easy to shoot. If you see one of these at you gun store, buy it. It’s a Sig 226 frame with a Glock Body. Pretty close to ideal, in my estimation.
I agree. I hated my G19, nothing but problem with the striker pins and failures to feed like there was no tomorrow, so happy to get rid of it. I didn't even know the SigPro 2022 was a polymer frame till I stripped it, couldn't tell the difference between it or my P229. Got mine in 9mm cause I had the 229 in .40 and had a .357 barrel, as well. Bought two MetGar 17-round mags, because it only came used with a 15-round, but it came with a nice two mag paddle holster and paddle holster for the piece. The paddle holster was interchangeable with my 229's .40/.357 mags. Great firearm, accurate, no recoil, good sights and almost as flawless as my 229. Would definitely get another in .40.
i work at academy. it was originally 399 and has gone up since it achieved popularity. i have the stainless version that i bought when we first got it in. outstanding pistol and review, thanks sootch!
I've watched some of your prepper videos in the past and really appreciated them, scootch. So I was really excited to find that you had reviewed the SP2022 because it's one of two guns I was considering. You convinced me. I'll be picking it up tomorrow--my first semi-auto handgun. Thanks!
Typical Sig-Sauer drop-type, rebounding hammer, is a designed feature. That way, the striker/hammer hits the firing-pin ones, then back's up. It's actually a safe-mode.
Bought mine at Rural King several years ago. In the case was 2 mags, an extra grip, a sig holster and a laser/light for the rail. Definitely one of my favorites.
Thanks for the review Sootch. I bought mine in Feb, just before you did the video. I think this gun is a great shooter. One thing I found out is that it likes lots of lube during break in. Can't beat it for the price. Mine doesn't have the LCI which surprises me as I bought it here in CA.
I bought an AS NEW SP2022 last summer to supplement my vehicle's GHB. It has a bare stainless slide, and came with (2) mags, SigLites, OEM holster, and case. Cost: $425 OTD. I lucked up on (3) used OEM mags, and one LIKE NEW MecGar 17rd mag for $20/each at my LGS. 😊 I bought a SMALL grip from SIG for $19 and a SHORT REACH trigger from CDNN for $19. I have since bought a complete OEM small parts kit and spare slide stop.
i have 3 other pistols from different companies that are more expensive models, but this gun really shoots well and despite the cheaper price tag it doesn't shoot or feel like it.
This was my first handgun a couple of years ago and have nothing but good things to say bout it 2500 rounds in. Not one failure/malfunction of any kind. First shot I took with it at the range was DEAD center bullseye.
Great review, ,I own a g17, m&p9, fns9 and the 2022. the 2022 is slightly larger then the others but that being said. It is built like a tank. From the slide rails, frame to the slide etc. The higher bore axis worried me till I shot it. this is the most comfortable and most accurate out of the three guns to shoot. Due in part to its hefty size, weight, and that sweet single action trigger is hard to beat, love it. This is a gun I would trust my life with. Very accurate, completely reliable etc. This gun is all SIG make no mistake about it, its a 229 with a poly frame. In fact I wouldn't hesitate to put it up against a 229 and its half the price. If you are looking for a SIG and on a budget, dont hesitate..Thumbs up to SIG.
Another good review Sootch! I bought this gun a couple of years ago, in 9mm, and it's got over 500 rounds through it without a hiccup! I recommend this gun to everybody!
@@markjones5285 The .357 sig caliber will draw some attention at the range because it is LOUD, but it's a great caliber to fire. Since first making that comment, I also picked up a P226 in .357 sig as well. 👍
The 2022 is my first and only handgun, in .40. Granted I'm only 18. Thank you for justifying my purchase some more, Sootch! By the way, it runs flawless!
hey! just got one at a gr8 $, too, shot 100 rds. only hickup was it didn't stay open on the last round the first two mags, then it started working like it suppose to, now its all good. by the way I got the .40 s&w.
This is an excellent pistol for the money and we hardly ever see them at the distributors anymore. I am in love with my new P229 M&P with laser and suppressor - which also makes it more special. Likely one of the best of my picks these days!
Perfect timing!!! I have been looking up info on this weapon and "viola" u made the video. The Sig2022 is now on my short list to purchase. Thanks for your extremely high production quality videos, they are greatly appreciated.
Hi Sootch, nice presentation of the Sig 2022. do you think your right thumb was touching the slide stop and that's the reason the slide didn't stay open on the last round?
Agreed. I have both of them and the rail on the newer one is a lot nicer but it has a loaded chamber indicator on the slide while the older model doesn't. It also means the barrels aren't interchangeable since the one with the chamber indicator has a notch in the barrel.
Just purchased one on Black Friday at my local cabelas. Watched a ton of videos and I liked the feedback on the 2022. Between this and a couple others I had my eye on the guy at cabelas told me this was the best decision between the choices I had. Should be able to pick it up given I pass my background (no reason I wouldn't)
Awesome video and great review. I just purchased one today and will pick it up in 10 days (California). A guy next to me stated while I was filling out the DROS paperwork that it’s a “LOW END” Sig and I had to remind him that there is no such thing as a LOW END Sig. I can’t wait to shoot it. Great Video..
Hello.. it did come with the case and extra magazine. I also purchased another magazine online at Magazine warehouse.com for under 20 dollars. It’s the same mag the Sig came with. The Sig and the magazines worked flawlessly. Very smooth and accurate weapon. I love it....
Jesus A. Martinez I have one. It’s kind of chunky and blocky for CCW. I’d have it as a winter gun on an owb holster. Good shooter but you can definitely find better choices for CCW. I mainly carry a 5 shot snubby (LCR). Plenty of fun.
I was never a Sig fan myself based solely on the bore axis until I fired one. Wow! My next handgun will be the 226 MK25 and I just purchased 4 months ago the newer P938 which I have had zero problems with with new ammo 115 or reloads.
Nice review. Thanks Sootch00. Mine, purchased in late November, came with one magazine as mentioned but had two grips, and they were marked SIG SAUER rather than SIG PRO. (I have long fingers, so I switched to the larger grip; it only took a couple of minutes. Nice.) Mine also had three-dot tritium night sights rather than the "lollipop" kind shown here. That's one thing I like about SIG, constant improvement and lots of options.
That hammer "bounce" you spoke of is because without the weapon actually having a round chambered, it never strikes the firing pin. It is feature that protects the weapon. Dry firing, because of this, will not harm this weapon.
yeah my 226/mk25 has the same hammer "bounce" when dry firing. as far as i can tell it is a normal part of the gun's operation and not a problem at all.
I have this pistol without the round indicator. Its my go to 9mm and all time fav 9mm. 3000 rnds and not a single failure of any kind. I did replace the poly guide rod with a steel one but that is the only thing I would ever consider changing! its a perfect pistol as is for my needs! Thinking I might get the big brother in .40 as well! I use a blackhawk holster with mine... great combo!
I bought mine at a gun show for $275.00 +tax! Have owned it for 8 years and will not get rid of it. Have other Sig in my collection, P228, P220 Elite. Have to say this SIG Pro shoots as good as any of the other ones. This is a highly underrated gun by the gun world!
That "funny hammer feel" is the design of the gun. It only comes in contact with the firing pin when firing. It actually slingshots across a little gap to strike the pin and rests a few millimeters(if that) away from the pin. Nutnfancy explained it all in a video.
So is it just us or has Sootch00 tap into the Power Rock combined with Guns. Rock & Roll, and Guns always a great combo. In fact a very lethal combination to be reckoned with. Great video, Great info, and Job well done.
I had one of those for awhile, and was lucky enough to get one of the leftovers from when they "cancelled" the line two years ago, so my LGS was selling them with nightsights, a SIG laser, and three mags for like $400. I just never really bonded with the pistol. I hated the trigger, and in the end, it just felt like SIG was trying to put out a subpar product, just to have an entry in the polymer pistol market. Sold it and picked up another S&W M&P in 9mm, and couldn't be happier.
IM GETTING ONE OF THESE!!! Seriously, great video as always sootch. Have you tried out the 40cal? I am leaning to 40 cal would like your opinion on the matter.
the hammer doing that is one of the 4 safety features of the gun. it still fires when needed :) even if you drop it on the hammer it will not discharge, trigger has to be pulled. Field Tested.
I really like your videos! You are always well versed and get right to the point. I have owned Sigs for many years now and most of them have that hammer bounce!
I just bought this because I could not pass on the price. Mine went for $479 and came with a holster and 2 mags. I can't get it until tomorrow though. I bought it Saturday and the FBI database was crashed, so no firearm transactions could take place and my local shop is closed Sun and Mon. I was actually going for a Glock 19 Gen 4 but when I saw this next to it, I got it without having ever shot one. The Sig name (and price) were enough to take a chance. So all weekend I have been researching and seeing what others think. Hickok45 gave it a pretty decent review. His hands are so large that the trigger pull was not comfortable and the high bore axis was something he had to get used to. So far, I cannot find anyone who has a negative thing to say. I cannot wait till I can run a few boxes through at the range and see for myself. I will update this comment after I have shot it.
Noticed that too. I read about it. The "bouncing back" resets the hammer into a position where the hammer is set into "hammer strike safe" mode. If dropped on the hammer, hammer won't hit the pin.
I think the 2022 is one of the best buys in handguns. I have had mine for about 3 years and bought it for $399 new. My 2 biggest complaints are the slide stop is very long and easily pressed inadvertantly, probably the reason for the failure to lock back. Also, the magazine well is a bit clumsy for fast reloads. Performance has been perfect, and accuracy is exceptional.
Great review as always. I noticed that double slap hammer on the dry fire also. I got on a sig forum and posed that question. I was reassured that it was normal . Love my 2022.
Yah that is the exact reason why I wanted it. I am so jealous. I can't even find them at full price in a local store or on most online sites. I really want to get a 9mm sub with the laser. I know people trash lasers but I can see a lot of reasons to use it. I think more companies should make modular guns, that way you only have to register one fire arm yet have multiple configurations for multiple needs.
got my sp2022 last year, in 40 sw. i couldnt pass up the price 449.00 out the door. it felt good in hand and i ran 200 rds through it that day. ran flawlessly. once i got use to trigger," glock guy here " i was getting great groups. i have about 600 rds through so far and its been perfect. i did put in a stainless steel guide rod in it just for fun. its sits next to my bed with trl light
Great review sootch. I just picked one of these up from a gun show for 460 bones. it came with two mag and 3 dot night sights. I haven't shot it yet but I absolutely love it. This is my first Sig (I'm a smith guy) and my first 9mm. I can't wait to get some range time with this ol girl.
I got one of these a couple of years ago for $399 with night sights, so I guess price is going up. You made a comment that Sig mags are around $40. True most of the time, but you can find them less. Mec-Gar also makes a 17 round magazine for the 9mm - not sure about other calibers. Works fine, but does not have the same finger contour on the bottom - also costs less. Each grip is a bit different in look, with the large having a rubberized surface.
Own one (SIG SP2022 in 9mm) a few years back. Here is my review of it as a consumer: *Pros* Accurate Reliable Well built *Cons* Roll pins that can back out Slightly difficult & weird take down (minute 7:43 above) BIG for a polymer pistol HEAVY GUN for a polymer pistol Higher priced gun, magazines, & parts. Complicated design so hard self-gunsmithing My SIG SP2022 was sold as their were lighter, cheaper, & better (IMO) other polymer pistol out there. Today, there are tons of better ones on the market that are much lighter, much cheaper, and much better.
@@alanderson9711 "...what were the other, better guns you refer?" - No Problem: Just got back from the range today and I shot SIG's latest polymer pistol that the US military thinks is much better than the SP2022: The SIG P320 Compact - M18 Black Ops Version (has a manual safety & is colored black not tan) Other better guns than the SP2022 are: The Glock - leads the pack The Beretta APX The HK VP9 The Walther PPQ The S&W M&P Series The S&W Shied Series and a few other higher quality name brand guns. The budget guns (Taurus, SCCY, Bersa, Hi-Point, etc.), although they work (sometimes) are not the best. You want the best for self-defense. Stay frosty.
If I´m not mistaking this is the official sidearm of the police here in Berlin-Germany. They introduced it some years ago because of its light weight, the reliability and because of the changeable grip which made shooting for female officers a lot easier and more comfortable ...
I have this gun, its great, i also have a glock 17 gen 5 with upgraded nite sites and a FN9s which is the size of of a Glock 19, but more rounds, and is every good, thank you for an honest review of the Sig 2022, some of these experts online knock these affordable handguns just because they think their really gonna be in a gunfight someday and think you have to have a thousand dollar handgun to survive, and most of them havent been in a handgun fight, in a stressful situation where they have had to actually shoot their 2 thousand dollar combat handguns, my point is i love real Men that are everyday blue collar workers and honest gun reviewers that say we can have a 500 dollar gun and it will be protect( with the right training)our homes..great review
The bore axis is far less of an issue than I expected it to be. Anecdotally, the bore axis seems to be the source of a lot of reluctance in folks I've talked to about it.
Was originally the Sig pro in the late 90's, comes in black and flat dark earth as well as two tone stainless. 9mm and 40 S&W , Mec-gar makes the mags for Sig and you can get 18 round mags from Mec-gar for around $25 to $30 .Mec-gar also makes 20 round mags too , I've got a P226 but will be picking up a 2022 .Can't beat the quality for the price !👍
I have two of them, a newer and older one. The older model with the german frame(german frame, american slide) fit into 229 holsters but not mags. The newer ones come with american made slide and frame now.
The reason the hammer bounces back is because it bounce back to the "Rest" position. When you actually fire the weapon, its hammer will go further then the "Rest" position and sorta inside the slide. It bounces back to rest after the hammer hits the firing pin. It all sigs that do this.
I've put thousands of rounds through mine without a single misfire. I swear if you put a darned pickle in the magazine, it would still go "bang"! Thanks for your vids Don.
My carry gun is the P229 and I might take a look at this new Sig, so far I like what I see. Good video on this Sig sootch00 and I think you just sold one for Sigarms. Thanks.......

I love my sp2022 and I never had single issue. Great gun for a great price!
This is one of the best reviews I've seen of the Sig SP2022. Nicely done!
i have 3 other pistols from different companies that are more expensive models, but this gun really shoots well and despite the cheaper price tag it doesn't shoot or feel like it.
That's my concern, high bore axis. I like Glock and the CZ 75 is a dream. Is this Sig as good a shooter?
Yeah I bought mine 3 months ago and love it
My first sig and first double action. Love it! Have had for years and have put tons of rounds through it and no malfunctions.
Another good review Sootch!
I bought this gun a couple of years ago, in 9mm, and it's got over 500 rounds through it without a hiccup! I recommend this gun to everybody!
first pistol i ever owned. loved it! it took about 100 rounds to break it in because it was stove piping but after that flawless, and very accurate
The SP 2022 was my first SIG and I love it. I still own it and now also a P226 Enhanced Elite. You won't be disappointed with the 2022.
I've got this beautiful gun in .357 sig, and it is still one of my favorites.
Nice choice on the caliber, you may have just sold me one lol.
@@markjones5285 The .357 sig caliber will draw some attention at the range because it is LOUD, but it's a great caliber to fire.
Since first making that comment, I also picked up a P226 in .357 sig as well. 👍
Nice on the 226, wish my 228 1911 A1 was in the 357 cal instead of the 9
@@markjones5285 A good caliber for the 1911 style is 10mm
Must have changed. I just picked this pistol up a week ago and it came with two mags and a nice holster. I really like this pistol.
My absolute favorite pistol
The 2022 is my first and only handgun, in .40. Granted I'm only 18. Thank you for justifying my purchase some more, Sootch! By the way, it runs flawless!
hey! just got one at a gr8 $, too, shot 100 rds. only hickup was it didn't stay open on the last round the first two mags, then it started working like it suppose to, now its all good. by the way I got the .40 s&w.
The hammer block safety you spoke positively about is also the reason the hammer rebounds, which you complained about.
Good review. I've had a "Gun Crush" on these for a while now...
Hi Sootch, nice presentation of the Sig 2022. do you think your right thumb was touching the slide stop and that's the reason the slide didn't stay open on the last round?
+Larry Grant Most likely. That is an issue a lot of people have with Sig
7 years and 7,000 rounds later...no parts breakage and still running strong. Night sights are prety mich burnt out but really impressed 💯
I purchased this in .40 almost a year ago. I have been pleased with it. luckily I purchased a couple of spare mags when they were available.
Hey Don just wanted to say you have the BEST reviews out of any other person on RUclips. I cannot thank you enough.
Watch Hickok 45 about this pistol
I just bought one of these, got the one in 9mm and w/night sights. I love it.
Should be able to pick it up given I pass my background (no reason I wouldn't)
how's it stack up to the p250
teddy robinette no idea. Never shot one.
A new Sig for $459! Those were the days!
David Vasquez How do you like it so far? Are you in SoCal? Did it come with a case and extra mag?
Hello.. it did come with the case and extra magazine. I also purchased another magazine online at Magazine warehouse.com for under 20 dollars. It’s the same mag the Sig came with. The Sig and the magazines worked flawlessly. Very smooth and accurate weapon. I love it....
How is this gun working for you? Also whats your view for ccw with it?
The SP2022 is my first SIG and now I own several SIGs. Good video!!
Dry firing, because of this, will not harm this weapon.
yeah my 226/mk25 has the same hammer "bounce" when dry firing. as far as i can tell it is a normal part of the gun's operation and not a problem at all.
miceryt111 Yeah, part of the reason why the decock works in the first place.
This is incorrect. Its hitting and bouncing off the firing pin just as it would if it was chambered.
Love my 2022. It’s my edc. Never fails me. Only other Sig I have to have is a 10mm 220 Legion.
Sigs kick ass
That "funny hammer feel" is the design of the gun. It only comes in contact with the firing pin when firing. It actually slingshots across a little gap to strike the pin and rests a few millimeters(if that) away from the pin. Nutnfancy explained it all in a video.
I've owned this one and also the SP2009. Both are excellent pistols. Both of mine had factory night sights.
Great gun, had a 9mm version sold to fund an AR so just bought another, in .357 Sig. It will make a good companion to my Sig P226 Navy.
Just bought this gun very excited now to start using it. Great demonstration and breakdown of the weapon...
Love the ending God Bless America and Long Live The Republic!!! Indeed sir!
Great review as always. I noticed that double slap hammer on the dry fire also. I got on a sig forum and posed that question. I was reassured that it was normal . Love my 2022.
This is the first time I have heard your voice and my first thought was that you sound like a SEC football coach.
Thank you Sootch00 for another great review!
Even to this day it’s a sleeper sig. I just picked one up and I love it.
Just got one yesterday infact...was great at the range.
3 months later and I still love it!!@@merlinskw
@@jmglock90gaming19 Me too!
Yah that is the exact reason why I wanted it. I am so jealous. I can't even find them at full price in a local store or on most online sites. I really want to get a 9mm sub with the laser. I know people trash lasers but I can see a lot of reasons to use it. I think more companies should make modular guns, that way you only have to register one fire arm yet have multiple configurations for multiple needs.
you mentioned that the hammer bounces back when the hammer drops, but if you look at the P226 and P228 they do the same thing.
got my sp2022 last year, in 40 sw. i couldnt pass up the price 449.00 out the door. it felt good in hand and i ran 200 rds through it that day. ran flawlessly. once i got use to trigger," glock guy here " i was getting great groups. i have about 600 rds through so far and its been perfect. i did put in a stainless steel guide rod in it just for fun. its sits next to my bed with trl light
I got one back in December 2008 with 3 mags, night sights, and 2 back straps for $499 at Bass pro shop. It was used by Jack Bauer.
Another great video review! I picked a new one up recently and love it, luckily it came with two magazines
This was my first Sig , and it was a match made in heaven , I love that pistol the only complaint I have is they ( Sig) did chamber one in .45 .
Love your videos & top notch reviews. Thorough, informative, and good production.
One of the best guns they make
I got one of these a couple of years ago for $399 with night sights, so I guess price is going up.
I have the SP2022 in 9mm. I love the gun! Thanks for your review!
Own one (SIG SP2022 in 9mm) a few years back. Here is my review of it as a consumer:
*Pros*
Accurate
Reliable
Well built
*Cons*
Roll pins that can back out
Slightly difficult & weird take down (minute 7:43 above)
BIG for a polymer pistol
HEAVY GUN for a polymer pistol
Higher priced gun, magazines, & parts.
Complicated design so hard self-gunsmithing
My SIG SP2022 was sold as their were lighter, cheaper, & better (IMO) other
polymer pistol out there. Today, there are tons of better ones on the market
that are much lighter, much cheaper, and much better.
sweetcostarica -thanks for your mini review/comments, but what were the other, better guns you refer ? Thx...
@@alanderson9711 "...what were the other, better guns you refer?" - No Problem:
Just got back from the range today and I shot SIG's latest polymer pistol that the US military thinks is much better than the SP2022:
The SIG P320 Compact - M18 Black Ops Version (has a manual safety & is colored black not tan)
Other better guns than the SP2022 are:
The Glock - leads the pack
The Beretta APX
The HK VP9
The Walther PPQ
The S&W M&P Series
The S&W Shied Series
and a few other higher quality name brand guns.
I liked the tip with the slide top. Great video.
I have a SP2022 and a Ruger P95. Love them both
Looks like a gun that should be on my "to get list"
Hoped you'd say that, 5 glocks here, would feel weird carrying anything else.
But thumbs up to Sig for trying something new.
One gun I've had that never had a misfire, stovepipe, or any malfunction whatsoever. But you do notice the high bore axis.
i wanted a sig p226. All shops back ordered for 6-8 months in my area. I went with this one at turners.
I have heard stories at tardec that the earlier generation that has the external extractor there is a funky ghosty reset.
