  • The remote takes a 2032 coin battery and should last for several years before replacement. The light has an internal 18650 battery and should last several months before recharging. Also included in the tail light is an accelerometer which makes possible the alarm and brake light. Also included is a full set of instructions.

    I got my own BikeSentry today. I think the horn is designed to alert even car-drivers to your presence. Though regular people on the sidewalk will probably duck for cover should you use it in close proximity to them. I think the regular old metal bell is a much better fit for alerting pedestrians.

      I agree, the horn sucks. The signals and brake are cool though.

    For the mount - I used a length of scrap aluminum flat stock and made a 100 degree bend. Then using half of the seat bracket that comes with the light drilled 2 holes and used the screws again that came with it bolted the seat post mount to the flat strap. To mount to the underside of the rear bike rack I used 3 zip ties. Then I used a length of 1” black electrical tape to cover - It was raining out when I built this so I could not paint outside. Hope this helps - Good Luck .. .. 👍

    Nice presentation. My manual says the alarm level CANNOT be changed. Can you explain how the audible sound can be reduced. It is REALLY loud. Also, you said there is tab that you can push to remove the main piece from the mounting brackets. I couldn’t see one…can you please explain in more detail what tab you are talking about and where it is? Thank you.

      As to adjusting the alarm level - It’s been a couple of years since I installed and can’t really remember - Perhaps It’s not adjustable as you said in the manual it’s not. I haven’t used the alarm with mine as I never leave it unoccupied. As to release the light from its holder - There is a tab on the bottom of the holder - Push it forward while cradling the light and it pops off in your hand. Very easy to remove for recharging if one wants to - I usually don’t remove though to charge.

    Thanks for your informative video. I would rather attach my light to the rack like you’ve shown, but only have the seat post rings that came with the light. Where did you find the bracket for the rack?? Thanks!🙂

    Я себе тоже такой купил. Ну крепление его с завода ненадёжное. Когда я упал с велосипеда фонарь просто вылетел из крепления. Долго ездил и боялся чтобы он не отпал на какой-нибудь кочке. А потом просто замотал скотчем и успокоился. Хочу поставить себе ещё один такой фонарь вперёд чтобы поворотники были и впереди но не знаю будет ли оно нормально работать от одного пульта. Говорят что будет но надо посмотреть

    • @SuperDunner
      @SuperDunner  2 года назад

      In the video you can see how it’s mounted - I also describe how I mounted in the video. As far as keeping charged - It has an internal 18650 rechargeable battery that only needs recharged a couple times a year. The wireless remote uses a coin battery that should last 2 to 3 years before it’s replaced.
