Wow, awesome! I just bought two vintage style ebikes and since day 1 I'm thinking about installing some turn signals and rear brake lights...Too bad I don't have the knowledge nor the tools to do this myself....Awesome job, good for you👏👏👌🤙
Are you providing power to all the lights from the stock headlight wire only? So to activate your whole circuit you power on the headlights on your bike keyoad and your sub-system comes to life? Thanks for your answer! Great stuff!
Hi...awesome video. Can you pls share if I want to connect one headlamp, 2 front turn signals, 2 rear turn signals, one horn to a switch and connect to a separate 12v powerbank.
ok, i have a real good question, are you running different wires or using the wires that came with the ebike ? as i see you have the 12V converter running from the batterie, which begs the question, how is your display working off of 12 V, instead of 48V ? or you would need to upgrade your diagram ok ?
I have a Radrunner also but I have a nice led headlight and turn singles but I only thing I want to upgrade and change out is the brake light, how would I go about doing that?
Amazing dude, I bought a little bluetooth kit with rechargeable signals but they aren't bright enough during the day and my e bike doesn't have a brake light. New project!
Can you make a video of how to connect to existing RR+ wiring? If you made any modifications on the existing cabling system of RR+, can you also share it as well? I have few questions; 1. If the converter 48/36V to 12V 10A 120W is not available, what is the other option? 2. Wire connectors - can you share also the link where we can order which you’ve used? 3. What sizes of wire you’ve used for the new wiring connectors? Thanks a lot. Great video...
Why is negative ground going to the switches? Isn't the switch just carrying the positive through? I also noticed 3 wires going to most of the lights but don't they only need 2 pos and neg? Sorry if this is a stupid question. I just built my first bike (stealth bomber) and just want to fully understand the wiring. Thanks in advance.
Of course, no problem! Usually on every motorcycle the ground going through the frame. But this is an electric bike. And for the safety reason I decided to make a negative wire line for each unit. It’s independent wiring solution. That’s it.
Can you hook two lights on the front wired into the rear signal lights that came with the bike ,mine has break and signals at back trying to add to the front
i have a talaria xxx i have blinkers on the back just need to no how to hook them up i already got my new display put on but need help where to start thanks steve
I had a problem with my 12v brake light. I think the 48v to 12v converter must of had a capacitor that when I pressed and released the brake lever the brake light would remain on for 5 seconds
Hey am not a pro, but if just buy the same headlight and remove the old headlight from my ebike will it work?? My ebike has 750 watt motor I think it brushless the battery that came with is 48V 20ah..
This video is amazing, thank you! If only I had the capacity to do it by myself... I’m getting a SUPER73 S2 and I would LOVE to have a similar system installed on my bike. What lights are you using?
i've got no problem wiring up whatever light i want the only problem i've got is that i can't find decent mounting hardware for either mounting one of the lights like in the vid (i've got similar but 3 lens lights), that A) doesn't shake and B) doesn't fucking break from metal fatigue from the shaking/vibration and C) doesn't need a long tube style fork cuz i aint got no ebike like that i just have to go through very shittily maintained uneven terrain and streets everyday, aint no other way 'round it
Did you need to use motorcycle controls for the indicators? I have a ordinary MTB (mountain bike) which I would be converting to an eBike, with the BAFANG BBS system....what would I need on top of the conversion kit to add brake and indicators on the back of the rack and the front of the bike.?
@@DanhRichardson ok, there are headlights out here that are like 10V to like 80V, you just need to pay attn. to that ok and if you do not want to have to have a step down, then buy a head light that will except power from 10V to like 80V ok, i have found lights that will do that and also take like 12V to 24V, those needs a step down for it to work off the power of your Ebike ok, hehe
@@DanhRichardson but also with lights that only will take power that is 12V to 24V, you can always just hook up to a external 12V battery bank ok, along with a switch ok hehe

Hello what type of brackets did you use to hook up the lights can you send me a link where to buy brackets that can insert those lights to my bike with nuts and bolts to tighten it down do you have a website or a link
May I ask how do you integrate the switch for the brake light? I'm having a hard time making my hydraulic brake signal to work with my relay to connect with the brake light
@@electricpower8130 Hello, Thank you so much for getting back to me. May I ask which switch did you use for your brake? I am currently using the cyc controller and I'm using the magnetic brake level to send signal to the brake light. I need a optocoupler relay for it but having a hard time wiring it since the brake signal is 5v and the lights are 12 volt. I think my switch is different that's why I was thinking about using a relay. May I ask what is your set up? is it the single button switch you listed in the description? @@electricpower8130 Hello! 10A fuse - why you put them between battery and 12v converter?
this is great, but is it possible to wire all these lights up to a external battery bank ?

he had to wire the converter in between his battery and wires ok

Could I add a 12v skull headlight to my ebike custom. It has 3 wires white, blue and green for both eyes?

You can use any controls you want. Just make sure they are for 12v. And don't forget to buy 48v to 12v step-down converter.
If my ebike already came with a working headlight, do i still need the step-down converter? Or do you think the bike already has one?
