Hey everyone, Hi Beryl, i don´t know what to say because i feel so weird. I`m sitting here over my bowl of noodles and i cry tears on them - and i mean this literally. I don`t know why but this video just hittet a spot on the right time. It´s such a rough time and everything feels so hard atm with covid, online university, exam season, I´m moving and sat here with my noodles in front of my unfinished university papers, feeling guilty for taking a youtube break while eating and expected a regular (yet amazing) Beryl Video. Feeling connected to all this beautiful amazing people who are eating noodels and sharing the intamicy of eating and cooking with the world just touched my heart so much and gave me hope. I really hope that we all are able to travel again soon and visit each others worlds and make them, their people and their food to ours. Don’t worry about eating noodles for “breakfast “. The concept of eating or not eating certain foods at a particular meal is a construct of whatever culture a person is apart of. A food can be eaten at any meal. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
I normally am a silent watcher but I must admit that this video has brought me to tears. Mostly because there are lots of lovely humans out there, my faith in humanity has restored. Partially because of my pregnancy hormones and now I'm craving instant noodles 😊 Good job, Beryl and others!

NEXT VIDEO THEME: What do people around the world make during special occasions? like for birthdays or holidays etc! Loved this concept! Keep making such videos please :)
Why did this make me cry?? I thought I was going to see some fun instant noodle dishes and suddenly I'm feeling connected to people all over the world and wiping tears away!! What the heck!?
Since everyone is going in a more savory direct, I suggest sweet: Pudding. I feel like there are do many different kinds of pudding-like desserts, I'd love to see them
And now the around the world pancakes 🥞 would be nice🤤 as we have more the crepe in my country (Romania) but eating the slightly thicker version here in The Netherlands or they even have the so called poffertjes which is a mini version of pancakes 😎 maybe an idea for the next video!
In Austria, one popular pancake variation is Kaiserschmarrn, which starts off similar to a general fluffy pancake, but then it's kind of scrambled/torn in the pan and you eat it with powdered sugar. You can also add raisins (not my thing) and eat it with apple sauce or some fruit compot! And we also eat Palatschinken, crepes that are similar to the French onces except a little bit thicker. Anyway, around the world pancakes would be awesome!
I think it would be really interesting to talk about fried snacks, i mean like traditional neighbourhood fried snacks (like fried sweet potato sticks, fried veggie pancake, just snacks that you can find at a street food stall or snacks that you usually make at home) cause i loveeee fried snacks and i'm kinda curious what kind of fried snacks other people on the other side of the world eat 😂😂.
Very heartwarming and touching. Goes to show togetherness can be felt even though we're miles apart and with strangers!! 😊 Loved the concept and video 👍 Eating together truly brings joy!
Something that can be found in any country would probably be fried dough. Like doughnuts, churros, or savory dough like cimol from Indonesia. Love this video really needed something heartwarming for me this week!
Beryl, I am a firm believer that food is the way to make friends. Especially around the world. I love your videos. We share, connect and understand. Food is soul!
This is so beautiful, how you connected them all into a video, no skin color, no race, just people who love noodles 👍🏼 would love to participate someday!
National food from a country that's actually inspired/influenced by another country?? Like how the national dishes in Peru have a strong chinese influence! Think the cross-cultural element and history will be pretty cool to explore
This was just amazing. People from all over the world, coming together to share their love for something so simple! It’s so much more than just bowls of noodles. It’s community, and love.
Ramen is a humble meal that doesn't cost a lot, but can be made so many ways. Another food that is also humble and can be elevated in so many ways is the potato. There are so many dishes from all over the world that use some type of potato. Sweet potato, yams, baby reds, russets, etc. I would LOVE to see people's potato dishes from all over! Judging from the comments, you have plenty of ideas for about ten more videos!! I'd love to see this as a series! It is so wonderful to see people's cultural cuisines from their kitchens. Such a beautiful concept!
For all our differences we are all people of the world, with joy, culture and food to share. We are not so different after all. Great work everyone. Another cracking episode; around the world in 13mins! .🙏💓
I'm in the US, state of Georgia. My favorite may to cook instant ramen uses the Creamy Chicken flavor from Maruchan and I prefer it without a lot of broth. I add frozen cooked chicken and various frozen vegetables, and some miso paste when boiling the water for the noodles. Once the water boils, I add the noodles and cook for about 2 minutes (a minute less than the package directions), then I drain most of the water from the noodles and add the seasoning packet and mix it through. Then I put the pot back on the stove with the burner off(it is electric so still hot), I will stir through a raw egg. The egg is cooked by the heat of the noodles and the residual heat of the stove. This makes the ramen extra creamy and rich. Normally for vegetables, I will add a handful of frozen peas and carrots, some corn, and broccoli. If I am out of broccoli, sometimes I will add some frozen chopped spinach just before I add the noodles. But with all the veggies and the chicken, I have a noodle dish that can be a full meal.
SCHOOL LUNCH! I was originally going to say eggs, but then I thought something fun and nostalgic like recreating your school lunch because it's so interesting to see what people around the world ate growing up.
I'm tearing up watching this and the only thing wrong is that I'm watching it without a big, steamy bowl of ramen in front of me. With an egg in it 😢 Beryl, you are an angel 💕
Tofu, I would love to see tofu. I am not a meat eater. I have never liked the smell, texture, taste and feel. I have been this way my entire life. Seeing the world eat tofu would teach me so much.
The next theme should be breakfast around the world. I am indian i love my moms prantha most common and loved breakfast in all over india so so much and I would like to know what other countries have during theirs first meal of the day
...apparently in some places it's instant noodles! As a college kid, it was often leftover pizza. As a teenager rushing to catch the bus, it was tuna salad sandwiches. As a harried mom, it might be an oatmeal cookie or piece of cake! My breakfast menu is very...fluid.
I teared up at the end. Thank you for making this. You've become in a very short time one of my favorite people to watch on RUclips. In this time where we can't share meals or share our daily lives in traditional ways you're one of the people helping to open up the world to us in new fun ways. Thank you!
omg finally an indonesian who calls the sprinkles correctly. it's fried shallot, not onion. lol even the packaging tells you the wrong thing most of the time!

Beryl, you have brought back some great memories for me. I'm Korean but I was born and raised in the US. Ramen is literally a food group for me and some of my best memories involve chopsticks and a big, comforting bowl of ramen, gathered around with my Mimi and my brothers and sisters. Thanks for the memories!
Wow Beryl! This video is amazing. I'm always curious what kind of things you'll try next. As a German living in Ireland I know how challenging it can be if you miss certain food from home. I think this might be my favourite video of yours Beryl, I legit teared up seeing everyone cooking and eating together ❤️ So happy to have discovered your channel because making and eating food has been a source of comfort while trying to weather through this pandemic and your sunny disposition has helped me out of some pretty dark days, even inspiring me to cook when I couldn’t even be bothered to feed myself. If it’s not too late to throw my suggestion in the ring; I nominate the humble dumpling! So many cultures have their own version of a dumpling so I’d love to see that, plus it might just inspire me to attempt it again after my last disastrous results lol
Sitting here with tears in my eyes as I type this. This video was perfect. I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for bringing so much sunshine and positivity to such a weird time in all of our lives. I have tried SO MANY new foods because of your videos. The community you have created here on youtube is just amazing. This was such a joy to watch and now I'm hungry for ramen! I look forward to the next video and gaining even more knowledge of delicious recipes.
Omg thank you. I am so glad people are feeling a sense of community. I am so hopeful to continue to share how much we all have in common in addition to what makes us different and special
Fried rice, there are so many versions, interpretations and unique ingredients depending on where you are from. Great video, loving the concept of this video.
I would suggest for a future video, posting all the different recipes made here (maybe more) and switching. Picking one from a different country and trying something new. Like a global potluck. I adore food, the history of it, the making of it, and the sharing of it. Food is love, family, history, community, all that is special.
For context: "Americans think 100 years is a long time, and British think 100 miles is a long way," is a really good quote from this video: ruclips.net/video/Kkj5WyJpiT8/видео.html I'm thinking people in America give their State for reference? Just saying "USA" is really like saying "Western Europe" IMO. It's interesting to see how all people from different cultures have different perceptions!

I'm so happy to discover your channel just last week. You really have subscribers from around the world! It's so heartening to see how your channel connects so many different cultures! Also no matter how 'unhealthy' instant noodles may be, it is the one dish I feel no one can go wrong making and it still fills one up, not just tummy-wise but strangely soul-wise as well, lol. Instant noodles really gives a warmth no other food can quite give...
Videos like this make me cry...It's so amazing how something as simple as instant noodles brings people from many parts of the world together, some are even mixed race and /or live in different countries from their own ethnic backgrounds and it's just wonderful to see. Stupid things like racism really should be eradicated from human society as we all have so many things more in common and even more things to learn and share with each other. Just being optimistic...I've had a pretty negative/toxic day and this is really heart-warming... Just had my bowl of ramen too~
The next theme should be milk .There are tons of ideas and tons of creativity and this is i think the motto of this channel to find food which binds us together
Beryl has a 100,000+ subscribers yay I'm happy for her... But to see the people(some of the people) behind those numbers makes me feel like I'm part of a family and it honestly warms my heart
Great idea, but it does disqualify vegetarians and vegans... I love fried chicken, but eating less meat these days, so I'd prefer a veg choice, if possible.
I got home tonight after a super stressful, shitty day and then I clicked on this and cried happy tears. It really felt like I was sitting with a big group of friends. Thanks Beryl, for creating this joyful and relaxing space
We are a wonderful family! The next one should be about your favorite midnight snack...when you attempt to quietly sneak into the kitchen and snarf down something with no one watching...
Hi Beryl, here is another noodle dish for your Instant Noodle series. I hope you can try it sometime :) I am indian but i really like indomie noodles and there is a special way i make them. It might be a bit spicy but thats what i love about it. To a pan of boiling water add the masala packet, some pepper, a little ginger garlic paste, a bit of chat masala, i sometimes also add a little hot sauce too. Then add the noodles and cook them. After adding the noodles i always put in one green chilli. Now after the noodles are cooked you have to add the star of this recipe- Hara Masala is what we call it and its basically a green chilli, garlic, corriander and mint chutney and its the best thing ever. This noodle dish is immensly satisfying to my indian tastebuds. Oh and you have to use the green indomie flavour if possible. Thank you.
The problem with that is that you will very likely step into the philosophical rabbit-hole that is the debate on whether a hot dog is a sandwich or not...
You are the purest person on youtube. This is so fricking wholesome. I love it. Thank you for making the world seem like a better place than other people make it look like.

I agree 100%. We really do need to celebrate something. A big worldwide party.
The next theme should be OUR FAVOURITE POTATO DISH! Potatoes are so versatile and you can eat it in so many different ways! 😅
Seconding the potato love!
Yaaaas, i would like to kmow, is there ANYONE who dont like potatoes?
Idk why I'm crying.. I'm eating ramen while watching this video and i feel less lonely..
Pancakes for the next video? Almost every culture has their own version of it.
i love that idea
Was thinking the same also because of Andong's pancake video
Oh yes. Especially how varied it can get between east and west.
My mind is directly go to Martabak haha
Yeeeees that would be great!
I don't know why, maybe it's because we're a year into the pandemic, but the montage of everyone eating brought tears to my my eyes. It was so wonderful to see people coming together all over the world to cook and eat the same thing. Thank you so much for all you're doing to bring people together. Your videos really brighten up my day
Same same
NEXT VIDEO THEME: What do people around the world make during special occasions? like for birthdays or holidays etc!
Loved this concept! Keep making such videos please :)
This could be the perfect video omg
The next one should be PANCAKES! Sweet ones, savory ones, everything in between! I just really love pancakes, okay? :)
Oh Suzanne I love them too! 😋
Why did this make me cry?? I thought I was going to see some fun instant noodle dishes and suddenly I'm feeling connected to people all over the world and wiping tears away!! What the heck!?
Same
divided by borders, united by instant noodles
Same.
Did anyone else tear up watching this? No? Just me? Okay 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
No! Not just you. Me, as well. In Roswell, New Mexico. Ramen flies off the shelf like crazy. I love Beryls vlogs because they are from the heart.
Yes, I cried.
I did too 😭😭
Since everyone is going in a more savory direct, I suggest sweet: Pudding. I feel like there are do many different kinds of pudding-like desserts, I'd love to see them
Do you mean the british definition of pudding, or actual pudding?
@@shevahauser1780 That is the beauty, it can be both! Even within the Netherlands, there are difference in what people call "pudding"
Japanese "purin" is creme caramel..
Great idea :)
YESSSSS!
And in Denmark they make ebelskivers. It’s like a stuffed pancake ball. So good.
The brazillian guy went a little too gourmet, nobody eats ramen like that in Brazil. The most common way is to add requeijão cheese or an egg.

This video, the way it was put together, further confirms this is our own little community🥰....dinner party virtually with friends
This is such a very wholesome video- it warms my heart. This screams unity in diversity and I am living for it. ❤
I think it would be really interesting to talk about fried snacks, i mean like traditional neighbourhood fried snacks (like fried sweet potato sticks, fried veggie pancake, just snacks that you can find at a street food stall or snacks that you usually make at home) cause i loveeee fried snacks and i'm kinda curious what kind of fried snacks other people on the other side of the world eat 😂😂.
im from kerala which is in southwestern India and we fry bananas! we call them pazhampozhi and we have them as an evening snack
Definitely!
Kerupuk and Keripik.
We can't live without it
'How the world eats Eggs' should be next. Eggs are also a pretty common in most countries. So I think that would be fun to make.
Yesss! Gotta do Thai crab omelette from Jai Fai 😍
Agree. Eggs! 🥚 🥚 🍳 🍳 🥚 🥚
Yes!
Agree
or specifically how the world makes omelets will be good too
Very heartwarming and touching. Goes to show togetherness can be felt even though we're miles apart and with strangers!! 😊 Loved the concept and video 👍
Eating together truly brings joy!
Something that can be found in any country would probably be fried dough. Like doughnuts, churros, or savory dough like cimol from Indonesia. Love this video really needed something heartwarming for me this week!
In Brazil we have Sonho that means "dream"
@@priscillad8 what a beautiful name for a dish!
Yess!! We have fried quark balls here. I love them!
(I also love fried sweet cheese triangles!😍)
Fried dough? Odading mang oleh would be the best XD
Cakoi di Malaysia..
Beryl, please do a video of egg recipes around the world, there’s so many different ways you can eat it
Beryl, I am a firm believer that food is the way to make friends. Especially around the world. I love your videos. We share, connect and understand. Food is soul!
Next one should be, "dishes that cure sadness." We could all use some of that.
Its called saxxx
The next one should be sandwiches! 🤩
good idea!!
yes! I was scrolling through the comments to find this suggestion! sandwiches are universal, good idea me thinks
Was going to add this but then saw your comment-agree!!!
This is so beautiful, how you connected them all into a video, no skin color, no race, just people who love noodles 👍🏼 would love to participate someday!
Where there is food to share there is no race. Only friends.
I would like to see people’s favorite potluck dish, that one dish that their friends and family insist they bring to every get together.
I can't cook. So I always brings chocolate pudding...😂
National food from a country that's actually inspired/influenced by another country?? Like how the national dishes in Peru have a strong chinese influence! Think the cross-cultural element and history will be pretty cool to explore
Wow, that's an amazing idea!!!
That's a really cool idea! Food has travelled so much, you can always trace the origin of a food from one country to another country.
Very cool idea! Colonization topics would come up in conversation!
Oh that’s a fascinating idea.
Yes! In East Africa we have a lot of Indian influence
This was just amazing. People from all over the world, coming together to share their love for something so simple! It’s so much more than just bowls of noodles. It’s community, and love.
Not gonna lie, I teared up a bit when everyone introduced themselves.
Yes, it is so utopian. One world, through noodles.
BERYL!!!! You brought the world together! Actually crying in happy tears!! Thank you!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Ramen is a humble meal that doesn't cost a lot, but can be made so many ways.
Another cracking episode; around the world in 13mins! .🙏💓
@MY AVIATION I just watched it! So good thanks its a hilarious way to end my night.🤣
Noice
I would like to see you do dumplings around the world. I feel like every country has a it’s on take on dumplings!
This was a joy to watch. Everyone eating together, like sitting around a big, big table.
I'm tearing up watching this and the only thing wrong is that I'm watching it without a big, steamy bowl of ramen in front of me. With an egg in it 😢
Beryl, you are an angel 💕
Tofu, I would love to see tofu. I am not a meat eater. I have never liked the smell, texture, taste and feel. I have been this way my entire life. Seeing the world eat tofu would teach me so much.
should try "stinky tofu", it's really good!
LOVE this idea!
I would love Poha or Upma!
Koraishuti'r kochuri 😭😭
I CRIED!!
This was so amazing. I really feel like this is such a close community and we’re all learning so much❤️ I love you guys!
Well it's not wrong exactly... It's more that shallots onions and garlic are all "bawang"
@@simp2226 bawang goreng is never made from onion here tho. and the bawang family is allium. i work as translator, so i know it'd be classified as mistranslated to translate bwg goreng as fried onion. whoever made our textbooks never get their shit right and taught us the wrong thing. another example is the whole soy sauce=kecap thing.
@@palalabu lol yeah. Ati being liver is also another confusing thing
@@simp2226 yeah, but that's not actually wrong.
@@palalabu yeah but because my english is better than my bahasa (somehow) it always confuses me when im eating out haha
Food is part of us and so important to build a community. It's nice to see how this community evolves. Thanks you so much for making this happen!
This video is by far the best of all series and probably the most intense to produce. I'm not a big fan of instant noodles myself, but I feel so inspired seeing people from all around the world sharing their passion for something like this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to bring the world a bit closer together.
Inspiration for a unified world. Thanks Beryl.
I think an episode about pies would be really fun! There's so many sweet and savory options around the world, and it would be a fun way for you to bake more since you mentioned you don't do it often
I would love to see different potato dishes, since there are just so many ways of preparing and having them
Where are you from?
Everyone: I'm from X country.
Americans: I'm from X state.
I’m from Alaska and that is as different from New York as France and England. (Not to mention thousands of miles further between.)
@@carmancloud yeah! Im from NY state and winter is just ending but in Florida its a balmy 80 degrees and tropical

Why doesn't Beryl's channel have a million subs yet? I wish I were into instant noodles like them, they all looked happy eating it.
She's still kind of new. Don't worry she'll reach million this year 🔥
We can do a Rice around the world ep
P.S- This channel feels like home ❤️
Not to be dramatic but the noodle cheers brought a tear to my eye. Thank you Beryl, for bringing the world together ❤️
Beryl has a 100,000+ subscribers yay I'm happy for her... But to see the people(some of the people) behind those numbers makes me feel like I'm part of a family and it honestly warms my heart
💜💜💜
The next one should be fried chicken
great idea!
This will be great!
Great idea, but it does disqualify vegetarians and vegans... I love fried chicken, but eating less meat these days, so I'd prefer a veg choice, if possible.
Nice idea 😉
How is your comment 12 hours ago , if the video is posted 1 hour ago !!
I got home tonight after a super stressful, shitty day and then I clicked on this and cried happy tears. It really felt like I was sitting with a big group of friends. Thanks Beryl, for creating this joyful and relaxing space
Just love how food brings different cultures together ...Im in tears to see everyone embrace each others company!
We are a wonderful family!
The next one should be about your favorite midnight snack...when you attempt to quietly sneak into the kitchen and snarf down something with no one watching...
Hi Beryl, here is another noodle dish for your Instant Noodle series. I hope you can try it sometime :)
I am indian but i really like indomie noodles and there is a special way i make them. Thank you.
"It's just ... mmm soo good!" Is it normal that I started crying? So touching!!!
Maybe it's too simple but I would love one about sandwiches. You just can't beat a good sandwich and they seem fairly universal.
The problem with that is that you will very likely step into the philosophical rabbit-hole that is the debate on whether a hot dog is a sandwich or not...
I'd love to see what is everyone's go-to recipe. That one recipe you make every week and is "no-fail" safe zone, you are the master of this...haha
This was a great form of storytelling! You can really feel the heart and hearth in it. Geat job, Beryl. And now I'm craving some kimchi ramyeon.
The next one should be with rice. How different flavours and different methods of cooking are used with it around the world .
Riiiiiiice!!! Every culture has one, if not several signature rice dishes!! I can immediately think of 5+ from my own 🥰 🇹🇩
You are the purest person on youtube. This is so fricking wholesome. I love it. Thank you for making the world seem like a better place than other people make it look like.
The lady who just prepared the cup noodles according to the directions really made this video for me. I feel that.
