There are many ways to serve noodle here that at least I've tried or ever seen. 1) Eating it raw: • hit the instant noodle to crush it while still in the package • open instant noodle package from one side • add the seasoning 2) mix it with fried rice or what we call as "Magelangan": • fry some thinly chopped shallot then drain it. • boil the noodle separately then drain it • fry some chilli, garlic, and shallot with just a little amount of oil. You can chopped it with knife or pound it with mortar. • add some egg. • Add the rice, then mix them. Leftover rice and dry rice is better than new and moist rice. • add the noodle and the seasonings, then mix them. • add some salt, sweet ketchup, and msg or stock powder. You can also add chilli flake to increase the spicyness. • add some chopped spring onion • serve it with fried shallot on top of it 3) lika a vegetable and tofu soup: • boil the noodle then add the seasonings. • add some egg and thinly chopped tofu. Better to use tofu that have skin, we call it "tahu kulit" • add some chopped cabbage or bok choy and chopped chilli • add some chopped onion spring • serve it better with fried thinly chopped shallot or "bawang goreng" 4) make it into what we call as "martabak" or "noodle omelett": • boil the noodle then drain it • mix the noodle with egg, the seasonings, chopped chilli, and chopped sausage or chopped meatball or corned beef. You can add some vegetable, but don't add it too much. • fry it in a pan with a little bit of oil • eat it with tomato sauce. You can also use mayo instead. 5) eat it with raw egg: • boil the noodle then drain it • add the seasonings and raw egg, then mix it. 6) trying to copy as identic as the suggested serving cover image on the package. This one, you have to cook based on which noodle taste you cook. Sorry that I'm late, but hope my recipe can add your noodle recipe collections.
We have the raw one in Malaysia! 😂Lol, but I'm not sure other countries in ASEAN has this? 😂It's called Mamee Monster which is a snack that is made of Maggie noodles. The history of this snack is in the 90's century the "padang getah" in malay which translated as rubber farm, the workers have no time for breakfast because they need to wake up before sunrise to collect the liquid from the tree which then use by the factory to make rubber products. So one of the workers raw eat the Maggie noodles without seasoning 😂the other workers then start follow the same way of eating and then spread through the whole factory workers. One day when the boss of the factory is patrolling the workers, he found out one of them eating Maggie raw. So he then told one of his friend's son who wanted to be an entrepreneur, then they start investigate to make the product. The name Mamee monster is came from the son that who became a entrepreneur who went follow the father to patrol the workers. He found a boy who is one of the worker's son and ask him what will he name the product, but the kid don't understand, he then saw the kid's drawing that it's a furry blue monster. It ends up "mamee" is the spelling of mummy in Chinese, which other races besides Chinese can pronounce this, and the "furry blue monster" is then became the mascot of the product😃 Lol😂 I never thought i can write this long but nevermind, sharing is caring✨ Ps. by the way, THE MOST EPIC MAGGI NOODLE recipe comes from a friend of mine who was living in a hostel with tons of other hungry boys and with no access to outside food. They had to innovate from whatever resources they had and believe it or not- they used to use a bathing bucket with a heating coil in it and relish it in a group
Boy boy, i know Maggie is popular with hostels,,, and kids in India, But i was made to afraid it since school teachers n my parents... Btw i still wonder how their body functions with all Maggie eatjng
Brazilian here, I applaud you for finding and using true catupiry. My friend's brother used to make noodles and add half a cup of milk in and stir. Can't say it was appetising
Thai green curry noodles Ingredients Green curry paste: 20ml Coconut powder: 30ml Boling water: 400ml 1 plane instant noodle cake Chill flakes: 1/2 a teaspoon dried sweet basil: 1/2 a teaspoon Chill powder: 1/2ml teaspoon Fill a kettle with 400ml of water and boil the water Get a bowl and put you noodles in cover with 20ml of curry paste and 30ml of coconut powder Cover noodles with water place a plate on top of the bowl and let it sit for 15 minutes Take the plate off stir to brake up noodles and put in 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes,1/2 teaspoon of dried basil and 1/2ml teaspoon of chili powder stir to combined then cover with plate again and leave for 10 minutes Now take plate off stir again and enjoy!
That was so cool. Thank you. I can't wait to try these and I just really loved how much fun you were having and how you were clearly enjoying the different recipes.
I think wai wai is now common all over India too. Especially at the beginning of lockdown when there was shortage for maggie wai wai came in handy. But definitely wai wai can't replace maggie(personal opinion)

I have, I've cooked Maggie with chicken, paneer, a lot of Vegetables, cooked it in ghee and added butter in top. Have tried Schezwan sauce ginger garlic more chillies with it. I rarely eat plain noodles. Try it, it's good.
This is my recipe: 1. Chop the Gralic and Onion and Sausage 2. Fry it in a pot until fragrant (but not to burnt) 3. Add water, as much as you want 4. Add Teobokki 5. Add at least half of the soup powder of the ramen and let it boil depending on the amount of waht you're cooking. 6. Lastly add Goujuchang (correct me for wrong spelling) and done. You can add or remove some of the ingredients but I highly recommend to add all of these. You can also add Cheese recommendedly Moza or Cheddar. Trust in this like you trust in God (if you're Catholic/Christian) I haved tried this a thousand times and I.LOVE.IT!
Seeing two Indomies package at the intro: "Hoo, Indomie is cheating and winning the instant noodle game" Indomie recipe from Nigeria: "Ah, our sworn brothers in the Indomie religion"
For Indians, My maggi recipe has so many ingredients y'all would call it blasphemy I still love it though so just in case one of you tries it: I take half an onion, half a tomato and a green chilli and chop them all very finely. I add about half a teaspoon of sugar (flavour enhancer, you cannot taste it at all, skip it if you hate the idea though) A pinch of salt and a little bit of garam masala(also optional, u can't really taste it) Cook the veggies for about 5-10 minutes, until the tomatoes break down a little. Then I add a teaspoon of MSG(also known as ajinomoto or china salt) then a teaspoon of soy sauce and the tastemaker. Skip the initial pinch of salt if you're sensitive to salt. And that's it. I know it seems like a lot of extra ingredients, but it tastes sooooo good.
The Trini ramen style shocked me especially since in lived here my whole life. Why didn’t I think of that? I like to stir fry the cooked noodles with vegetables and seasoning but I will definitely be adding KFC next time❤️🇹🇹

4. Add Teobokki

Seeing two Indomies package at the intro: "Hoo, Indomie is cheating and winning the instant noodle game"
Indomie recipe from Nigeria: "Ah, our sworn brothers in the Indomie religion"
For Indians,
My maggi recipe has so many ingredients y'all would call it blasphemy
I still love it though so just in case one of you tries it:
I take half an onion, half a tomato and a green chilli and chop them all very finely.
I add about half a teaspoon of sugar (flavour enhancer, you cannot taste it at all, skip it if you hate the idea though)
A pinch of salt and a little bit of garam masala(also optional, u can't really taste it)
Cook the veggies for about 5-10 minutes, until the tomatoes break down a little.
