I got one of these 2 months ago. Great out the door price! Looked at Kioti last year and they wanted over 30 k. Said covid made prices higher. Stopped looking for a year. . Screw that. Looked at Kubota this year and couldn't find one. Checked Bobcats sight. None around but I was driving through Oakboron, NC from a job (I own a HVAC company) and they had probably 10 tractors sitting out. Went in and made a deal, or shall I say they offered me the best price I ever got on a 25 HP tractor with a brush hog and box blade and I bought it on site. Tractor is great for 5 acre property. I love it. I must be getting old cause I've been a city boy all my life and never ever thought I'd buy a tractor. Got 42 hours on it in 2 months. So it's not just a garage queen. It's working. I love it as much as all my dirtbikes!
Hey. Funny to see Oakboro NC. I live right around the corner from that dealer. What percent off sticker did they offer? This is my first time buying a tractor and I too am a city boy with a small homestead and land trying to figure it out. Lol.
@@jeromediggs3485 well, nobody gives you what "retail" is anymore. Not even on the website. Just go in and make a deal. That's what I did. I had cash but let them finance it through Arbor one. They probably get a kickback. I just paid it off the first installment. Easy peasy. Tractor is good and my neighbors are envious of it. I'd do it again. Better than the price of a used junker. 100 plus hours and not one problem
Just got one of these myself with a bush hog also. I will be adding 3rd function up front in the near future. Couldn't be happier. Was looking at the TYM and Mahindra in this Hp range. Stumbled on the Bobcat and it was a no brainer, very well built machine. Enjoy...
100% Agree. The strong dealer support network, parts / kits and accessory selection. Awesome features across the board. The quality is there for the Bobcat Tractors, lots of strong points.
Bobcat makes a great tractor. They are smooth, great performance features and have a lot of power. Strong parts department and dealer network is a huge plus. They are designed extremely well and built tough. The attachment selection is top notch. Awesome video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Mark! I have been very pleased with mine. I am about to post a short where a young self appointed expert gives his opinion.... You will laugh.
Ive had mine for about a year now and love it. I have the backhoe as well. Its a solidly built piece of equipment and this is the perfect size for what we do on our 10acres. My only gripe is the parking brake/neutral/seat sensor combo. I know it’s there for safety, but when u are off and on the machine all the time like I am, the setting of the parking brake is in a difficult location and therefore not always fully engaged. When u put it in neutral and get off, the machine shuts down. Then u have to hop back on and restart and it gets really frustrating if u are putting in a lot of hours especially since u must switch seats to the backhoe. It makes for a lot of climbing up and down off the machine
I've always loved the bobcat skid steers. I grew up using them on my uncle's dairy farm. Solid company and I would imagine their tractors are good too.
I have the 2035. Love it. You might have one by now but if not look into a grapple. Best purchase I’ve made. I got the everything attachments brand. Really nice.
This was very helpful. I’m deciding between a L2501 and your Bobcat. I’d love your thoughts on the tines. A big use case of mine is hogging up invasive blackberries and scraping up/piling up the refuse. Got myself convinced I need the fancy Land Pride third function and grapple, but the basic times would be a lot less money! Thank you for the review!
Do the R4’s do pretty good when driving across lawn as well or do they make big ruts or tear up lawn on a tractor this heavy? Also did you load rear tires with ballast? Is loader lift capacity really good as well, I keep seeing different specs for FL7 loader depending on what spec sheet I look at. Great tractor, looking at getting one myself!
I guess with the R4's that it would depend on how soft your lawn is. I do try to avoid driving around on the lawn. The loader capacity is 1600LBS. That is plenty for what I do. Thanks for watching!
The r4s will definitely leave tears in turf but unless the ground is wet won’t leave ruts. This is a fairly smallish tractor and not too heavy unless u are carrying a bunch of weight. I notice more tearing of turf with 4x4 engaged obviously but it is not bad unless u are really careless
Good looking tractor and I look forward to seeing your reviews in the future. I know that you must have looked at other brands for a price comparison...is there some reason you can't give us some feedback on the cost comparisons?
Thanks for watching Donovan! Not at all...the Kubota was $29k, for a comparable machine with 1.5 more HP. Otherwise similarly equipped. I paid $25k for the tractor with bucket, bushhog and fork tines. The Kioti was very similarly priced to mine but was not offering as attractive financing options. I got 84 months 0%.
Nice tractor, in 2018 I bought a J.D. 3025e its about the same frame size as your Bobcat 2025. The model I have is their economy affordable tractor. Had I known that I could not get a backhoe for it I would have gotten something else. I've seen Bobcat with quick attach backhoes. And their a heavier tractor. Do you know if the Bobcat 2025 is available in a Synchronized Shuttle shift transmission? I prefer a geared transmission. Thanks for the video.
Pretty sure that john deere does have a backhoe attachment, 370b i believe, for the 3025e. I am shopping this size tractor and visiting dealers right now and they said it did have the option.

@@demonadarius thank you. When I bought it the salesperson said he could get me an aftermarket Frontier brand. I checked with John Deere and they said the 2019 madel was equipped for a backhoe . They also said an aftermarket 3 point hitch brand would void my warranty.
