I have the same iasca cd mine is from 1999. Brings back memories! Now I just need a Gen1 raptor! The optical ins are great on the dsp to prevent noise.
There are several ways you can do a upgrade. Pac-audio add a amp: catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/amppro-amplifier-interfaces/ap4-fd21 Idatalink DSR-1 with the appropriate accessories www.idatalinkmaestro.com/en/products/maestro-dsr Are the ways I would go.
How you find the sr300.4 for your Hertz speakers? I have the same front and rear speakers but I have a JL hd900/5 pushing these speakers and a w6 12". It sounds horrible. I'm think I need more power and was contemplating between the Hertz ml power 4 and the audison sr400.5 to push the front mid bass and then let the hd900/5 push the tweeters and rear. Do you find the 75 to 85 watts sufficient to push the tweeters? Also is the 250 watts bridged good enough for the midbass? The only reason I was thinking of the sr400.5 is if I decide to add the ml700 in the future. Hope to hear your thoughts. Thanks
The shop had the SR300.4 in stock. So I would recommend doing the SR4.300 bridged if your using a DSP. Are you using a DSP and if so which brand? Also are you using a aftermarket headunit or OEM(stock)?
@@lancesautovlog im using a stock head unit with the DSR1. I think I might cancel my rear-fill speakers and just bridge the components so it gets 150 to200 watts RMS and let's see how that goes. I thought about bi-amping but then the midbass will only get 100 watts RMS and I think I need more for it to sound good. Does your midbass sound good with the 75 to 85 watts it's receiving?
@Narendra Unnikrishnan I bought the audison sr400.5. It was cheaper than the ML power and the CEA rating Show a little more power. It's still in the box as I haven't had time to install it.
Both the amps are very similar when its comes down to it. I would lean to the Audison because of my experience with the products. You can't go wrong either way.
Hey Dustin, No the silver DRC doesn't work with the current Bit One HD Virtusos. The Virtusos does come with a new DRC MP. Good question. Subscribe to channel if you haven't done so.

Great set up video, nice demonstration of the many tools available to you as well.

I want to upgrade my 23 Santa Fe. Thinking focal and jl audio dsp amp.
You can go wrong with those brands. You just need to make sure that the person your work with can tune a JL DSP.
I have a 2013 f150 platinum with the factory nav head unit and Sony system. What all do I need to add a 4 channel amp and monoblock amp?

Pac-audio add a amp:

Idatalink DSR-1 with the appropriate accessories

Are the ways I would go.
Will the ap4-fd21 work without anything else?
Yes. You must keep the OEM amp.
What would you say your favorite subwoofer brand is currently?
I like the Hertz shallow woofers. The MP models.
How do you like these audison amps I'm thinking about grabbing the 1,000
I’m a fan.

Hi, what subwoofer did you use on this system? Factory? I didn't see any?
The woofer used in the system was a Audison APS10D. Sorry for the mix up.
