As an Aussie, I always say that the northern hemisphere is in the opposite season e.g. summer winter and spring autumn/fall. It works well with end of season sales as your end of summer/winter sales are only three months before that season hits here!
To think I started following you when I was 19. You helped me develop my style through college 😂 and here we are at 28 still watching! Thank you for also including some brands known for their jackets because it's getting cold here in Wisconsin 😂
I love my RM Craftsman boots. Have a chestnut pair with leather soles, been re-soled 3 times and going on 8 years old. My black pair have rubber soles and are also 8 years old with no sign of sole replacement any time soon. In terms of cost per wear they have paid themselves off years ago. It’s great to see you cover an Australian icon on here. As always, love your work.
I like Hugo Boss and own several pieces, but find them to be more hit or miss lately. I think their older styles from 10-20 years ago generally look better.
Brands have reputation which makes you buy without fear of being scammed!!! That's why if you create same material like a known brand the value is not the same because you've not yet established a reputation.
🇦🇺 Great to hear some of our quality garment brands mentioned by you there Antonio. I’m born and raised in Australia and now in my 50s can still vouch for my R.M. Williams moleskin jeans that I’ve now had for nearly 30 years and although they don’t get the wear they used to, they’re still in wonderful condition. Of course the moleskin garments by R.M. Williams are a nod to our authentic roots in the outback here and have been worn by stockmen for many decades thanks to not only their durability but warmth and comfort due to the brushed cotton interiors. Can’t kill them 👍
Factor 75 is legit. I eat keto which is a pain in the rear so Factor 75 has saved me so much time and headache. Great choice of a sponsorship. Something that will actually help people save time, money, and be healthier
Hey Captain, I've been buying Lands End since the 1980s and some of my shirts and socks have lasted 20-plus years. I think their Oxford shirts are their best product. Semper Fi Marine.
My go to for shoes is Allen Edmonds. My feet are a 12 length, A-width, and a 13 arch so just about anything is going to feel sloppy or uncomforable. I've always been able to find shoes that look great and fit well. I've had a few pairs for over 25 years and just get them recrafted to keep them looking sharp.
Another brand you should check out if you live in Europe, is Oscar Jacobson. Even though - as a norwegian - it pains me to endorse the swedes haha, I must say Oscar Jacobson has quickly become one of my favourite brands of all. Definitely worth a visit!
Hackett (shirts), Charles Tyrwhitt (knitwear), Gutteridge (coats and affordable clothing), Denis Shoes. Denis is a romanian brand, a family run business making hand made shoes at an affordable price. Their top line is amazing. Think of full leather, leather lining, leather soles at a price that you will not find too often.
RM Williams boots are immortal. I have 3 pairs, two are 16 years old and still very respectable. Replaced soles on one and elastic on the other. Fabrics may come from Europe but the best suits in the world nearly always use pure Australian Merino wool, Zegna for example.
If you’re looking for good sheepskin and shearling, I have two jackets from Overland sheepskin company. Yes it was expensive, and it took me a long time to talk myself into buying it, but the quality and warmth is top notch.
As a Canadian who has been shopping at Club Monaco since the 90’s. I have never heard it pronounced the way you did in the video. It is named after the French Country of Monaco.
Antonio's comments on Land's End was perfect. I'm shocked at how good and quality their stuff is. But it's always built a little bit baggy - never a slim fit or athletic fit...but still great. Another company that fits here too on the same level - to an extent - is LL Bean
Funny coincidence. The Pini Parma fall collection ad has been popping up in my youtube selections. I'm pretty sure it's the first time I didn't want to skip an ad. I'm actually trying to save it to my playlist. The coats are beyond amazing.
I have golden jewelry. That are presents from my mother and grandmother. Thanks to your advices I found a golden watch witch says im gold I'm not cheap but not expensive I'm not off but present and keep my self hidden. Not to big but for a man timeless. Not every Funktion but here is the date. Simple estetik right proportion. Normal numbers. The colors komplett each other. You can wear me with dessier golden steel stap or with a middle brown leather strap. What I want to say is that I really learned to like analog Casio retro or vintage watches.
I used to wear Casio G- Shock watches back in the late 1980s. I was an aircraft mechanic in the USAF. Most watches wouldn't take the beating of being slammed into an aircraft.
G- Shock (especially their early reissues) are phenomenal. I have top tier watches and they are nice a day here and there but as an active guy the G-Shock is my sidearm rock. I'd sell the rest in a heart beat before parting from them.👍
We missed some spanish brands, Antonio. Have a look to the designers Balenciaga, Adolfo Dominguez, Victorio & Lucchino, Scotta, Scalpers and many others...
I have a nice pair of rodd and gun military boots very comfortable and great price. You can definitely find quality pieces from any brand however, you just need to refine your definition of quality and you will be okay shopping around.
Thanks for mentioning our Aussie brands Antonio! RM is good stuff but overpriced , especially the boots! They are great but not worth $600 bucks! I have suits by Anthony Squires , all my Polos are Rod and Gunn and I have some great M.J. Bale Sports jacket and knitwear. Politix is too young for me but they have some good stuff. Australia led the fashion scene back in the 70's and 80's as our wool was the best in the world....all of my suits and sports jackets have Aussie Merino wool as the main or blended fabric. Cheers Gregg.
Pendleton’s are dope if you can score A GOOD DEAL. If you live in the cooler areas the board shirts and over coats are a rare find to have. Same as Filson coats and shirts for a more of a traditiona hnunting and cold outdoors brand.
in South Korea, i stumbled upon a brand called Beanpole. Gives me a very Club Monaco, J.Crew, Banana Republic, type vibe. I don't have them anymore, but i remember buying a few of their polos whenever i visited South Korea.
Just discovered your channel and I love it! Funny thing is, I saw a girl on the subway last week wearing a New York Demerier midi and I totally fell in love with her. I want to buy a *amzclothes* .This will be my little birthday present. Thanks for your channel.
G-Shocks have certainly established themselves well: they're common enough that you can pick them up on REI. But I have a good I history (so far) with Timex, so I opted for an Expedition Field Watch. Frankly, I was just more comfortable with a North Ridge analog watch with no frills.
I too enjoy the Timex Expedition watches. The battery in them is the nickel size one (I forget the number of hand), but they last for years and are easy to change if you need to.
@@shotglas2584 It’s my first time with one, but it’s mostly going quite well. About the biggest problem is that the face could be a few millimeters wider, with my 48-year-old eyes.
You nailed again, Antonio! This, together with the more historic ones, is your best content, where you work really shines. We always learn something. Bravo! 👏🏽🎩
hi. Nice List. Especially Club Monaco looks good to me. My favourites are Hackett and John Henric for clothing and Van Bommel for schoes. Please keep on making videos like this one. Greetings, Dominik Mauer.
No matter if it's the amzclothesor any other, my steadfast belief stands that only practitioners can perceive dissimilarities in the sack looks or the metal constituents
Wow Antonio, fantastic video. I am an Aussie and was unaware of these brands (except R M Williams of course), yeah probably living under a rock lol 😂. Thanks for waking me up to them. Also with our Kiwi cousins Rod And Gun those clothes look fantastic and shipping to Australia would be easy.
Some good ideas here, but I would caution against buying anything from brands owned by the brand management companies like Iconix, PVH (Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein), or Authentic Brands (Brooks Brothers, HSM). They are just VC firms riding on the names they've purchased. Stick with real heritage brands that are still individually owned like LL Bean, Pendleton, Banana Republic (The Gap), etc.
McGregor, New York. Has some emotional value for me due to memories. Overall- qualitative, affordable brand. When I wear it in my country some people think it has to do with Conor McGregor😃 I remember one person asking of me: Are you a fan of him? Which I am not by the way. Quite the opposite
I try to stick with Boss, RL, Lacost (You forgot this classic preppy), Hacket (occasionally) and Tommy. I don't like to open my wardrobe to find out an alphabet of brands and makes; besides, it makes life much easier when it comes to shopping: too many choices, so I just slash that by sticking with my favourite brands.
I like that idea - 4/5 go to brands and sticking with them. I look in my wardrobe and I see far too many labels, including stuff that is more fast fashion/old UK high street staple companies. Great comment by you.
Hi Marine! Another brand that I like is Joseph Abbound. I have three pairs of jeans 👖 by them , and another brand that I have a lot of is US POLO ASSOCIATION. I have an abundance of their pajamas and sweaters.

Thank you so much for this video. In Italy I love Trussardi very much, they are quite old, very stylish and affordable. Would you introduce Trussardi to the world, please? I used to buy their products online but they closed the online shopping in north America😢

Suitsupply, Reiss, Hacket London, River woods, Bonne Gueule, McGregor and some of Marciano by Guess.

Yeah they are being more casual nowadays which can be annoying.
“Old Money” is interested in quality, not brands.
Yes you got that right
True… but I’d still like to know where to go looking for quality.
Old money quality always has a Brand, they go hand in hand.
And these luxury brands like Gucci and what not honestly don’t provide quality often times it’s just a name that makes them money

you may also check, Sacoor Brothers, Boris Becker, Boggi Milano, Strellson, Eton
Pini Parma is amazing. It's as good or better than brands that cost 3-5x like Isaia, Brunello, etc.
Paul Frederick and Brook Tarvener and Peter Millard as well as Canali are some old money styles for any budget too name a few check them out

LOVING these affordable videos!!
