- A somewhat-mostly-accurate educational parody film by Max Landis.
This production is not monetized, and not for profit. The clips used herein are used with direct reference, as critique, and the characters and situations depicted are for the purpose of satire.
Yes, I know I got some things out of order. It was condensed and simplified and told from memory. Did you honestly want this to be an hour long? You didn’t. I didn’t. Let’s be real with each other. Real respects real. I respect you.
Ron Howard was gonna be in this one too, but he was in Budapest. He’s wracked with guilt and remorse.

The cameos in this are so weird and all over the place, but so overwhelming that it's genuinely impressive.
I love Sam Witwer as Chyna, just crossing his arms and smouldering at the camera.
So honored to portray the great Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Thank you Uptomyknees and everyone who was a part of this. Here's to hoping I don't get typecast as an insecure male wrestler from now on.
I hope Sam Witwer gets typecast as Chyna, though. Can't wait for Max to make a film about her descent into porn and drugs featuring him.
Cool story Chlo
you were awesome in this!
Thank you so much for doing this, you were absolutely perfect!

The girl who played John Cena nailed the essence of his toolishness with perfection.
The mock Cena theme song got me
Also the fact that her shirt says “spoiler: I win” sends me

Chloe Dykstra seemed to burn a lot of bridges as well.
Your definition of “recent events” on a video made by him is hilarious. I love this video but holy sh.t is there no way.
What I love about this video is that it demonstrates how Triple H spent a career using his clout to develop talent around him. Whether by gathering minions only to turn on them when they get too good (Orton, Batista) or just going hard after them (Benoit, Bryan), the fact that he's so hated and sets himself up as an obstacle to these guys, elevates their status when they eventually beat him down and step over his crumpled, crying body.
It's a very clever development tool and seeing the through line of his career plucked out of the web of the whole soap opera, kind of brings it into sharp relief.
: edit: and yes, I know it doesn't seem like a big realization five years later when he is literally the VP of Talent Development.
yep! he's been great for many more careers than he's hurt. he plays the role to a T.
dude the B+ thing on Danial Bryan was THE PUSH he needed to become a bonafide WWE star. because a small technical wrestler in WWE never become major events, they always die in the mid card. Triple H being the "autorithy" against Bryan and making his life hell. Making him lost belts right after winning was the fuel for the Yes movement.
HHH has literally ALL of my respect. There is one major reason why. He has an unbelievably great eye for talent, and smase those around him look ten times more bad ass. Love him or hate him, H is the fucking man!
He was a MASTER at putting people over.
Bro Benoit didn't need HHH to be famous. He's one of the biggest reasons I even started watching WWF because he was my favorite wrestler in WCW. He was a well known and respected worker. Triple H didn't make his career
John Cena: "Audience! Tell me I'm good, what do I need to do to make you love me?"
Audience: "Well, we don't like Roman Reigns..."
Roman Reigns is a newer character in this chapter. He used to be in this awesome special ops group with a basket case with a collection of leather jackets and a blonde streak of hair that likes injuring people. Roman is also a cousin of a famous actor who smiles a lot and raises his eyebrows. Nowadays, Roman is being given opportunities for championships to the point that people actually start cheering for Cena.
@@kit-3 true true

Dude. This but with other wrestlers. Make a series now. I would watch that!
No Kidding! I would love more of this it's excellent!
Unfortunately, I don't think he has the budget for that. This was quite a project for him. Maybe he could get Netflix or something to invest in it, but Max doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd want to work on the same kind of thing over and over like that. He's all over the place. And plus there'd be a lot of legal bullshit with WWE if it was like an ongoing series and not just some dude's short film.
I've watched this so many times i think you make one about gold dust

Man, seeing how far Triple H has come since this video, I would love a sequel. Too bad Max isn’t very popular right now

As a life long fan and as someone who even worked as a wrestler for a short while, I was totally expecting not to like this. I was expecting it to be extremely lame, forced, and not very funny. Thanks for proving me wrong. Well done, my friends.
I just realized this whole time i was looking at triple H character the way his character wanted everyone to see him.
+Stephen Valentine yes.as a true fan of wrestling and triple h being my fav I cant ever defend him in front of ppl hating his guts and calling him names and saying he suks etc. this is why wrestling suks these days.everyone that came after 2005 is more of a dora the explorer character than a wrestler. Hogan vs Andre worked because ppl hated andre's guts for real.and triple h is playing a heel. ppl are supposed to hate him...and he is so good that ppl often get blinded and thin that his fans are the marks that's what makes him one of the very best and my fav
wrestling was never meant to be real nor was it meant to be exposed but soooo many wreslters and promotions didn't follow the laws of pro wrestling and told people how fake it was
I totally get what you mean. The way triple u talks about himself, "I am the game, the cerebral assassin, the king of kings!" Really he's just trying to convince himself and others how great he is when in reality he was never the top draw.
He was a top draw irl, but on script, he was just there to oppose the "top guy".
***** Notice all of the guys you mentioned are faces. Triple H been has been a heel for 18 out of the past 22 years. Triple H drew as a heel. You think the crowds would have been cheering for The Rock and Stone Cold if they had been up against the Brooklyn Brawler?

It’s not super surprising. Max Landis is an established name in Hollywood, and he comes from a well known family in mainstream film (his dad wrote The Blues Brothers and a ton of other big budget films). It only makes sense he would have connections with people in the industry
@@nixaikobruh Because nobody is impressed that the failure son of John Landis, despite only writing one movie that wasn't a giant bomb, has a bunch of semi-famous connections. If you're too young to know John Landis, he directed some of the biggest cult hits of 70s and 80s, which made insane money despite have low budgets for production, as well as a couple blockbuster movies like Animal House, Blues Brothers, An American Werewolf In London, Trading Places, Three Amigos, Coming to America, and as a bonus also directed the most successful music video ever, Thriller - Michael Jackson.
Anybody over age 35-40 will know and be able to quote every single one of those movies. Even though Landis ended his career with huge box office bombs, he's still worth close to a quarter billion, enough to buy his son some friends.
