Fiji Australian kids got it easy these days.....lol Starting primary school in the mid 1970's in Melbourne as a 5 year old prep school student I learnt to drop the Fijian accent pretty fast especially in an all white school apart from a couple of Mauritians. Not counting my parents and a few of their friends we had no Fijian/Pacific Islander role models on the sports field or on TV. The old man started teaching us Fijian at night in a classroom setting but his Australian friends hijacked it! As a consequence we lost our ability to speak and fully understand our language. Not sad at all about it now that's just the way it worked out but I reckon if I lived in Fiji for a year I'd pick it up soon enough. Cool RUclips channel keep it going!

Bula Vinaka, getting a hiding from your parents is a bonding moment for cousins. It's something we can all relate too and there's a pecking order when you knew which cousin copped it worse, cause then you knew which Uncle or Aunty would twist your ear the hardest in. Church
In Fiji we don't really see skin color anyways, it's totally a foreign concept since we're more into your country of origin and personality regardless of what you look like 😁
