When Rammstein has a concert in Europe, there are 70 trucks carrying their equipment, the routes of the planes are diverted from that area, and the sound can be heard from a few kilometers. Till is completely dedicated to his music and if you see blood in the concert, it is usually real blood. His "sweat" is actually thermal protection because the heat from the flames is so great that he would have burns if he were not protected. Even the spectators who sit in the first 2-3 rows feel the warmth released by the flames. Flake, the one on the keyboard, asked at one point to have a treadmill during the concert so that he could consume his extra energy. Since then, he uses it in almost all concerts. The visual effects on the keyboard are added later to the post-editing but there were moments, including in this concert in which they used Tesla coils for effects, and those are really real. Anyway, a Rammstein concert is an event that will remain in your memory for the rest of your life.

I have heard several explanations ofvthe end of Til's swimming career. The version Til told was that he was in the preliminaries for the Olympics in Italy, really wanted to see Italy and was spending way too much time running around and drinking Schnapps and was not going to qualify anyway. But the East German chaperones caught him and he was sent back home. He denies planning to defect or escape East Germany. No clue which of the many stories are true

Hey, lovely to see you check out Rammstein! This is a long comment, I‘m sorry for that, but I‘d love to give you some insight into this wonderful band from Germany. The lead singer is Till Lindemann, certified pyrotechnician and in his youth professional swimmer. The lead guitar (stage right) is Richard Z. Kruspe, rhythm guitar (stage left) is Paul Landers. In the back, we have Oliver Riedel on the bass, Christoph Schneider on the drums and Flake Lorenz (pronounced „Flak-uh“) on the keyboard, walking the treadmill. Those gentlemen formed the band in 1994 and have stayed together since then - they didn‘t have a single lineup change! I‘d like to give you a few tips for Rammstein reactions so you can have the best possible experience with this phenomenal band! :) First of, which you did right already, always go for lives - even if you have heard the song before or seen the music video - Rammstein lives are an experience! The only exception is their song „Deutschland“. The music video for that one is just on another level; it‘s a masterpiece. Also, if the video you‘re reacting to comes from the official Rammstein channel, make sure to pause enough during the reaction. Unfortunately, videos from their official channel can get blocked otherwise. I have curated a list for some must-see Rammstein songs/performances, which are all very good quality and probably considered the best quality versions of those lives by many fans (so you don‘t accidentally end up watching something that someone filmed from their smartphone with horrible image and sound quality - that would just take away from the experience). I‘d love to see you react to some of those in the future! (I hope I‘m not totally overwhelming you with that long list, but they really are all so damn good). Some of them have English lyrics as well (educatedmarine, a good friend, does amazing English lyric videos for Rammstein songs). - Ich tu dir weh (Madison Square Garden): ruclips.net/video/6TR12QnOAzE/видео.html - Sonne (Rock am Ring 2010): ruclips.net/video/FZryTEMFrM4/видео.html - Haifisch (Rock am Ring 2010): ruclips.net/video/eXLPs17EotU/видео.html - Du riechst so gut (Hellfest 2016): ruclips.net/video/K4MWlySlIg4/видео.html - Wiener Blut (Wacken 2013): ruclips.net/video/a82IBbhTWOg/видео.html - Mein Herz brennt (Download Festival 2016): ruclips.net/video/Bfk5bEAa-iw/видео.html - Mein Herz brennt Piano version (Hurricane Festival 2013): ruclips.net/video/zIHxQq19Gbo/видео.html - Ramm4 (Hellfest 2016): ruclips.net/video/MxFfS-X3Xoo/видео.html - Mann gegen Mann (Paris): ruclips.net/video/tsHCcu0Mz2E/видео.html - Feuer Frei (Moscow 2016): ruclips.net/video/jgqRMacnrDg/видео.html - Rammlied (Madison Square Garden): ruclips.net/video/Q344Zgh_btE/видео.html - Engel (Madison Square Garden): ruclips.net/video/eSaa3vC_n2k/видео.html - Mutter (Paris): ruclips.net/video/DG9TeLISmZU/видео.html - Links 2 3 4 (Paris): ruclips.net/video/9bJP7Qe41Fk/видео.html - Sehnsucht (Berlin 1998 - much younger Rammstein!): ruclips.net/video/nJNPQcWkO-I/видео.html - Deutschland - Official Video (one of the rare instances where the official video is just superior to the live): ruclips.net/video/2nmxqHJZvO8/видео.html Those are in no particular order - they are all absolutely amazing. :) Anyways, have an amazing day and enjoy your Rammstein journey! If you have any questions regarding the band or specific songs/performances, feel free to ask me! Lots of love from Germany :)
NEVER close your eyes while reacting to rammstein live performances. you will miss the best and unique pyro and stage performances you will ever see in your entire live
This song is special to me, to see other people hear this and experience Rammstein for the first time I can't get enough. I played hockey in a Christian high-school. Needless to say our warm up music was lame. My last year there I convinced the school to let me play this song in warmup. For the whole year they played it every game. The best part of this little story is I said it was a song about uniting together and glorifying the community. I understand and speak German so the last game of the year I told the team what it actually meant. After sharing du hast mich means you hate me they loved it!! I almost got kicked out of the school my last year for pulling that stunt but if I hadn't done it I would have regretted it to this day . So everytime I hear this song from 15+ years ago I throw these up 🤘🤘🤘🤘
The singer is a professional pyrotechnician and he loves to play with his art on stage. However, i find it funny you say he looks " casual " when in reality he has stage fright and is no stranger to panic attacks due to social anxiety. Music just has.. powers
I had the pleasure of seeing Ramstein live in Texas, 1998 Family Values. Along with Korn, Orgy, Ice Cube, etc. Ramstein singer got lit on fire and started singing. 🔥
Rammstein is the most famous band in Europe and Russia. Look the videos from Madison Square Garden (Rammlied ....) and you will see that americans are learning german to understand Rammstein. Greetings from Germany
Til makes this special move because he dislocated his knee before a concert and hit it repeatedly in the backstage area to bring it back in. The other band members found this move totally cool so he adopted it for the stage ! Apart from the fact that Til is a trained pyrotechnician, at Rammstein concerts a special stage worker is very close to the stage and is connected by a microphone to the person who controls the fire. He feels the temperature on his cheek and gives corresponding instructions whether you can still step it up a notch or the flames have to be reduced.
Till also used to be a drummer previously in a band called First Arsch and was also competing at olympic level in swimming until an injury forced him to stop. Also I believe all the members are educated pyrotechnicans after a concert in Berlin in 1996 where a beam that was on fire mind you fell down. No one was injured luckily.
I love Ramstein and I looove this song. Their concerts are like a musical a little dark, but its great. At every concert, you will hear someone sing along no matter what song they play, but this is one of those where we can participate :D ❤❤❤
If you liked the live version, do give a listen to the original album version - and all their other songs - too. Read up on the band and its members over at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rammstein for example.
Rammstein's live in madison square guarden is an amazing show :D and you should check out Till lindemann's(vocal) sideband also named till lindemann :D
This song came out when I was a teen, and I remember driving around blasting the song in my 1970 Oldsmobile. I am now 45 years old and still blasting the music in the same car.
Wonderful reaction Video. Please please do more Rammstein. If you as a Singer want to know more how beautiful Tills voice is, please watch Ich tu dir weh from the madison square garden concert. Its my all time favorite.
I too am sort of disbelieving that she is more amazed with the singing than the fact that most (or all) of Europe has known this song by heart for 24 years going as of this summer.
I saw Rammstein in my homecountry in Norway.Oslo at Valle Hovin in February 2012 I was at first row and this song was one of many.If you have not seen them live, you really have missed out of something remarkebal. They are freakin awesome with their scene show.It was the best experience I have ever had!!!Go see them if you get a chance, you will never regret it.I promise!
Fun fact they all come from east Germany and they meet in a an contest and get together , the world recognition come from Du Hast being part of Matrix OST
Welcome to Rammstein World.... Attention danger of addiction! With me hardly a day goes by without Rammstein..... nice that you have found this group and thank you for your Reaction....
Such a great show this was! The crowd adds so much coolness to the song. Glad you've come across another great band. Love the reaction! Thank you for another great video. Cheers!!!
It’s fun to look at this and see the moment you fell in love with Rammstein. Same, same here. Liquid gold is right. Till’s voice scratches my brain right.
Loved this song for so many years now. My 3 year old sings to this song too and it's the most adorable thing ever. If you like a deep singing voice, try listening to Type O Negative. Peter Steeles' voice is incredible ( he was a big fan of Rammstein too!) RIP Peter Steele!
If you ever get the chance go and see Rammstein live, do it! Honestly the best live performance I've even seen. They were introduced to me in my early teens, I'm 39 now and seeing them live in 2000 still stays with me
@@nsny25 if they come back to Australia I will be there! I've seen a fair bit of live music but nothing came close to that show. Unfortunately I missed them a fair while back due to being sick at the time, even though I had tickets
@@thinkdesignbuild8893 oh that sucks! That's happened to me before. But at least you got to see them once. I'm in Essex, uk and they're reselling tickets for the delayed Coventry gig in June. I've seen some great bands before but this is another league. 🔥
@@nsny25 don't hesitate, buy tickets even if you have to wait. I think even people that hate metal would love the show, even if it can be pretty intense and out there
I saw the same show in 2013 in Italy, i still remember the heat from the flames! They are stage beasts. It's not just the music, he really brings the crowd to a state of mind on live performance.
I saw Rammstein live in Sydney in 2011 and it was one of my most favourite shows of all time! The performance was just incredible and Till attaching himself to a foam cannon and spraying the crowd during their closing song is something I will never forget. It was at the end of a long Big Day Out and was so refreshing!
Deutschlands bester Musikexport, ich habe sie zweimal live erlebt, es kann nichts besseres mehr kommen und ich war dabei, mir kann nichts mehr passieren
Only just discovered you Aileen and so glad you've discovered Rammstein. They have so much amazing music. Their albums, their concerts, their videos! All spectacular. Personally I think their album Mutter is their best. I'd recommend Sonne and Links 234. Oh and love your reaction to Jinjer. They're amazing.
It was so rewarding to watch you "get it", and on a night in a time where I really needed to get a connection with/from anyone really, or at least project and feel it. Monetisation has made everything into "takes", and further them beeing the "right takes" more than the profound surprise, emotion, and watching the sparks in peoples eyes as they mirror the reacton we had when falling in love with something. Thank u!
The Headbang/hand you like is called "The Till Hammer". He dislocated his kneecap suring a show and hammered it back in place pretending to be headbanging. The rest of the band and producers liked it, so he still does it.
If you didn't know yet: tills move when He starts hammering his knee is because at an live gig his kneecap sliped away and he was trying to put it back in its place without interrupting the concert
I saw this tour in Tampa several years ago with my German girlfriend and it changed my life. I've seen metal shows since 1985 and this is by far the best show a person can go see. Do it . Your welcome :)
Engel from Madison Square Garden is also amazing! And I love your enthusiasm Oh and here‘s a list of the people in the band: Till Lindemann: Vocals Richard Kruspe: Guitar (the guy with the black hair) Paul Landers: Guitar (the small guy with the funny haircut) Flake Lorenz: Keyboard Oliver Schneider: Drums (because there are two Olivers, this one is only revered to as „Schneider“) Oliver Riedel: Bass
When i worked with the band in Ruisrok festifal in Finland 2005 their pyro tech had a t-shirt that sayed: "I'm working with pyrotechnics: if yoy see me running, try to keep up..."
Paris was great...their tour over the last 3 years is the best Live show I've ever seen (and it's been a lot)...I cannot wait for them to release anything from those shows
I'm late to comment but I'm literally just here because I'm a huge Rammstein fan who loves seeing people experience them for the first time. Delve deeper into the rabbit hole you must.
I clicked on this because it was you. These men are unreal good............ Till the singer is a beast. He is also a darn good frontman!!! Enjoy!!!!!!! Till sings in several languages. And he loves FIRE!!! I read that their contract says No Fire, No SHOW! And I love your smile and the brightness of your eyes!!! You are a metal girl now! The singer is Till Linderman..... Take care beautiful. And I want to wish you a great Christmas!!!!!!! Peace.......
Till truly does have a unique voice. These guys killed in the big label industrial section of myspace music back in the day, #1 back then non stop. If you wanted to get someone hooked on industrial you'd introduce this band and maybe others. Oh, the myspace and vampirefreak days. Best years of my life.
You want to hear him really sing, react to "Ohne dich" and love see your reaction to "Deutschland" have the English lyrics version to understand the song.

When DJ'in back in the day and we had nights at a local club that was renowned for playing techno and drum & bass regularly - we had a club night the same time Rammstein had their concert up here (1st time I think) - There was a afterparty planned for them at a another venue which they didn't fancy and asked to go to ours - ended up with them taking over our club and the VIP party moved to that place - Till was even in the booth with us and having a blast - proper nice guys even if they look fck badass.
While you obviously like the video, seeing these guys live is amazing. They are by far the best live band I have seen. And as others have said... Welcome to Rammstein.
Hahaha. I was about to go full on Wikipedia here, because... Rammstein. Hahaha. But so many have already shared their knowledge, so I stand down. Haha. Pretty awesome, you've touched on many band on my top lists so far on your channel, so this is gold. In my humble opinion, Rammstein has never made a bad song. Some better than others, but none bad. Du hast is one of their signature tracks, as you saw with the audience and often one of the first tracks people get to know them by. But it's a "tame" track compared to later stuff, both musically, lyrically and stage show wise. Rammstein pushes the boundaries with themes and art style and they are timeless. Everyone of them have side projects also and these days Till Lindemann, the vocalist, has been really active with his project "Lindemann". Well worth a look. Pretty freaky stuff. Till's voice is awesome as you said and he demands authority in every song, every time. Scary dude within the whole music/theatrics bubble, but it's all an act and show. Wow, saying not to write an essay and writes an essay. Haha. Tracks to check out... Too many to list. But Ausländer, Radio, Liebe ist für alle da, Mein Teil, Roserot, Ohne Dich, Keine Lust, Mein herz brennt, Feuer Frei and Engel is a start at least.
Their live performances are a spectacle not to be missed.. chaotic, greasy, (and always fire: the literal and the figurative).. as a youth (30 years ago (jebus..)) if you ever wanted to get fired up before working out, playing paintball, or anything *energetic*, you threw on some Rammstein, and Du Hast was a go-to. Loving your posts! (and Pat Pat to Ellie)

I‘d like to give you a few tips for Rammstein reactions so you can have the best possible experience with this phenomenal band! :)
First of, which you did right already, always go for lives - even if you have heard the song before or seen the music video - Rammstein lives are an experience!

Those are in no particular order - they are all absolutely amazing. :)
Anyways, have an amazing day and enjoy your Rammstein journey! If you have any questions regarding the band or specific songs/performances, feel free to ask me!
Lots of love from Germany :)
I agree with you in every single word! 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣✅
Hi nice reaction
Their live Shows are the best. My favourit Song is " ich tu dir weh" what' means " I hurt you" live in madison square garden
Please do "Ich tu dir veh" live from Madison garden! Great performance!
NEVER close your eyes while reacting to rammstein live performances. you will miss the best and unique pyro and stage performances you will ever see in your entire live
So many times I've seen reactors close their eyes, and I'm like "Nooooo!!! You're going to miss it!!"
Pls more Rammstein!!! Ich tu dir weh live, Sonne live, Mein Herz brennt live and and and
Congrats! I felt the same in 90-es when I heard them for the first time in my life. It's glad to see Ramms got new fans!)
They definitely a new fan they are amazing!! 😁
So everytime I hear this song from 15+ years ago I throw these up 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Actually, "du hast mich" means "you have me" as in "du hast mich gefragt / you have asked me". the word hate in german uses 2 S --> du hasst mich
It does not (necessarily) mean "You hate me". What almost got you kicked out of school, ironically, was your own misunderstanding of Deutsch.
Great reaction. Please listen to Mein Teil live by Rammstein. Rammstein is one of the best live bands you ever see.
“Creative, chaotic, and beautiful”. That is the perfect description for Rammstein.
I am from germany and i totaly love Rammstein ! Greatings from germany ❤ ❤
Rammstein is the most famous band in Europe and Russia. Look the videos from Madison Square Garden (Rammlied ....) and you will see that americans are learning german to understand Rammstein. Greetings from Germany
More Rammstein please! You will enjoy it for sure! The best live band on the Planet!
Til makes this special move because he dislocated his knee before a concert and hit it repeatedly in the backstage area to bring it back in. The other band members found this move totally cool so he adopted it for the stage !
Apart from the fact that Til is a trained pyrotechnician, at Rammstein concerts a special stage worker is very close to the stage and is
connected by a microphone to the person who controls the fire. He feels the temperature on his cheek and gives corresponding instructions whether you can still step it up a notch or the flames have to be reduced.
WOW he really is a crazy genius :D
Till also used to be a drummer previously in a band called First Arsch and was also competing at olympic level in swimming until an injury forced him to stop. Also I believe all the members are educated pyrotechnicans after a concert in Berlin in 1996 where a beam that was on fire mind you fell down. No one was injured luckily.
@@ReaverWall Have you already seen the video from the accident with the pyros ?
@@omanipadmeum7319 Yes, I have, I do believe it is here on youtube. ruclips.net/video/WEFcaRg6EE4/видео.html
Rammstein was my gateway drug to metal I will never get tried of their music......such a cute fur baby!
LOVE seeing the reactions of younger generations when they experience our music from our generation. Welcome!
I love watching the birth of another Rammstein fan
I love to play this particular song especially when I'm on the treadmill!😬 It totally pumps me up!
Being a dad and having German cousins, I reckon I have a very special appreciation for Rammstein, even as much as I love them
I saw Rammstein in my homecountry in Norway.Oslo at Valle Hovin in February 2012 I was at first row and this song was one of many.If you have not seen them live, you really have missed out of something remarkebal. They are freakin awesome with their scene show.It was the best experience I have ever had!!!Go see them if you get a chance, you will never regret it.I promise!
No one puts on live theatrical performance like Rammstein and GWAR. Worth seeing either band when they are in town for live shows like no other.
And thanks for the video. You're very genuine and sweet. Whenever you have an upload, it brightens my day. Thank you!
If you like cults, this is it.
Cheers!!!
This band is know for thier pyrotechnics. Flames, fire, and explsions everywhere.
So sweet how she enjoys one of the greatest bands of our time.
It’s fun to look at this and see the moment you fell in love with Rammstein. Same, same here.
Liquid gold is right. Till’s voice scratches my brain right.
Nice reaction as always. Your turning into my fav
Your so genuine with your reactions. Looking forward to more
You are so sweet! That means the world to me. Thank you for watching! 🤟🏻♥️
@@AileenSenpai very welcome. Keep rockin
They were introduced to me in my early teens, I'm 39 now and seeing them live in 2000 still stays with me
Man, I really have to see them live. From what I've seen they're by far the greatest live act in the world. It might be my last chance!
I think even people that hate metal would love the show, even if it can be pretty intense and out there
I saw them twice on show. you can feel the heat of the flames almost warm your nostrils imagine on the stage. you have to go for sure
I saw the same show in 2013 in Italy, i still remember the heat from the flames!
They are stage beasts.
It's not just the music, he really brings the crowd to a state of mind on live performance.
They’re definitely amazing!!! When you get the chance watch the entire concert! Love your puppy!!!! Love you Luv!!!!!!
As a license an skilled pyro technician, rammstein was able to pull off these awesome moves What a show!!
Radical prettiness, Till & Co., explosions AND a puppy? I'm subscribing.
It's great fun watching you fall in love with Till ... 🤣
I enjoyed your reaction. I also like your cute new puppy. Thank you for making my evening a little brighter.
The crowd is so into it I love it!
i don´t see any band, that have such a crowd control! Amazing!
Engel from Madison Square Garden is also amazing! And I love your enthusiasm
Oh and here‘s a list of the people in the band:
Till Lindemann: Vocals
Richard Kruspe: Guitar (the guy with the black hair)
Paul Landers: Guitar (the small guy with the funny haircut)
Flake Lorenz: Keyboard
Oliver Schneider: Drums (because there are two Olivers, this one is only revered to as „Schneider“)
Oliver Riedel: Bass
You should
Watch Rammstein Sonne Live at Rock am Ring
this version please:
RAMMSTEIN - Sonne (live Rock am Ring 2010) HQ HD 4K
Lead singer is Till Lindemann and he's also a pyrotechnition. That's why their shows are the best out of all bands on the planet. 🙂
He is a genius! 🤟🏻
When i worked with the band in Ruisrok festifal in Finland 2005 their pyro tech had a t-shirt that sayed:
"I'm working with pyrotechnics: if yoy see me running, try to keep up..."
They are very unique
Love this performance
I love the fact you did pronounce it Rammstein correctly with the rolling of the letters. Sehr gut
Till truly does have a unique voice. These guys killed in the big label industrial section of myspace music back in the day, #1 back then non stop. If you wanted to get someone hooked on industrial you'd introduce this band and maybe others. Oh, the myspace and vampirefreak days. Best years of my life.
I saw the whole concert in tv, and wow... THATS ENTERTAINMENT
We just need more rammstein live reaction 😆 get ready
And so the Rammstein journey begins
This particular song/video really makes me want to get sweaty and grungy...Simply Outstanding!
Welcome to Rammstein.
one day I will see them!!! :)
You want to see them perform "Mein Herz Brennt and Deutschland" then you will see how they really are.
The Best Live Band Ever my Favorite!
You will never get bored of Rammstein!!
I am European (IT) and this is the only way we want to see a German rise above the crowd. I love them
That's not sweat/blood on them. That's fire retardant. An yes they get hit with the flames a lot.
You really want to hear singers voice an what he can do. Deutschland would be a great follow up
Ich tu dir weh from msg would be better
