Rammstein is a group that’s aged like fine wine. They’ve only gotten better with age…they hit harder now than when they did in 1996 when I first started following them. Glad to see you falling in love with them as hard as I did back when I was younger. Keep on your journey!
They hit harder now? The first three albums where the best and hardest ones. Especially the first two. I love most albums but they definitely have become more soft. But maybe I got your post wrong.
@@HenryLove420 even back then Metallica and slipknot and other Bands where harder. But still. Rosenrot and reise reise only have one or two harder songs. You won't find much more. That was different before.
So many references in this magestic movie, I am sure I miss a few: The red timeline from Deutschland. The band members are priests, all wearing some form of cross, Christoph with a collar, even Flake eating pages of the bible, from Rosensot. The attack from Ich will. Filmed as per the Matrix. The vault is marked MUTTER - 22, from Mutter The clones remind of Mein Teil. The gas can with the smiley face sticker from Du Hast. The hell cage from My Hertz Brent. In the cage like Mutter. The spikes helmets from Ansgt? Greasy in the cage like Sonne. The generic from Zeit makes the full circle. Filmed in the Opéra National de Paris.
The ending is interesting, as it implies they never made it to the areas to "destroy/set free" their past selves. As though they'll always be there and couldn't really get rid of their past even if they wanted to
I saw it more as a cycle. Like this isn't the first time they've tried this and they keep getting caught trying to free themselves of it over and over again and they can't.
My interpretation is Rammstein railing against authority, what they see in their minds vs the reality. Epic, as always, to the self-realization they're just clones in the machine. Stunning. Heartbreaking.
The choked cry when the piano started is a reaction that only happens people who have experienced it live, recall the feeling of when they were there. Rammstein is, in my opinion, the single most emotionally powerful band on earth.
To me it feels like they at some point wanted to end it. I think the characters represented their real selves, trying to set themselves free by storming the temple where their clones (showbiz characters) are kept. Quite fitting, since they are in some ways worshipped as deities by their fans. This is connected to the song Mutter, again about a clone borne without a mother or father. On the vault where their clones are kept is written Mutter 22. They break into the vault to free themselves by destroying their clones. Later in the video you see them trapped in a cage, somewhat similar to the Rammstein symbol, surrounded by fans. They tear down the god statues of themselves, again symbolizing the end of their stage characters. Until the end credits very much seems like it is a final goodbye, but during the credits you see the bodies of their real personas laying in the temple, none of them actually made it into the vault. So, I guess the show goes on? Beautiful video! I kind of hope they one day decide to make a full-length movie.
This is what I like about Rammstein, not the heavier metal so much, but the mini movie music videos, just blows me away, and the instrumental pieces with keyboard and violins just melt the mind.
It's the greatest band of all time. I still remember the time when German bands and texts should not be successful. I am so proud. Greetings from Germany
I absolutely loved your review. Mainly because you viewed it as an actual fan. I'm so sick of these worthless reaction videos that are way too long and often seem that they are only digging for comments. You have gained a subscriber. Great job!

I'll be honest.. I've been waiting for this video from you since Rammstein released their music video. I really love your reactions, they are so real and describe my own emotions so perfectly. But just as I watched Adieu for the 10th time, something happened. My best friend died in a traffic accident three years ago and there isn't a day that I don't think about it. But the line.. „Adieu, Goodbye, Auf Wiedersehen. Den letzten Weg musst du alleine gehen.“ Somehow helped me to let go in that moment. 'Cause it kind of tells me no matter what, I'm going to go it alone from here.. but someday we will see each other again. „Kein Wunder wird geschehen. Adieu, Goodbye, Auf Wiedersehen. Die Zeit mit dir war schön.“ I thank Rammstein so much for this song and you for this great reaction. Warm greetings from Germany. 🖤
I love these headphones. Has anyone mentioned that? Apart from that, once again a wonderful piece of music history explained by an incredibly compassionate Aileen Senpai.
Was fortunate enough to see Rammstein in September in Chicago! I love their newest album. Posting this before seeing the video but yes, seeing it live was a real treat!
I was there as well, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. That was my 9th time seeing them and they never disappoint, and the video for Adieu is badass.
@@peterbevair4400 omg yes the breeze was unreal that night, brought the heat of the fire and kept us warm and cozy. Greatest show i've ever been to for sure.
At the beginning some important references in the video for interpretation: -References to religion are present throughout the video. The costumes that the band wears, the purification by fire, the scene where the band flies away in a whirlwind; -The scene where Till passes his head outside the truck resembles one of the scenes of "Batman: The Dark Knight". Paul has a "Joker" badge on his jacket; -The truck's plate reads "LI FAD 6", a reference to Rammstein's sixth album; -The guard passing through the window has a "Universal Music" badge. The entrance to the Opera House also says "Universal"; -The fight scene has several "Matrix" references; -It is written "Mutter 22" next to the armored door of the chambers room. Flake's computer program looks like the artwork from the Mutter album; -The busts used on the artwork of Video 1995-2012 are visible on the screens next to the caissons; -On the gas can, a flower can be seen like on the album Herzeleid; -The scene where the band floats in the sky is a reference to the movie "The Immortals"; -The red lasers are of course the same as the ones in the video Deutschland At the beginning, the band sits heavily armed in a troop transport as a kind of special task force and drives through a city at night while Till Lindemann sticks his head out of the window - just like the Joker in the DC film "Batman: The Dark Knight". . The goal seems to be a red cone of light that shines out of an opera house/church/cathedral into the cloudy sky. The many Christian symbols that the viewer can discover in the car are striking in the first few seconds: a crucifix on the mirror, a Bible from which one page is torn, crosses as tattoos on the faces of the band members. A nod to the religious worship of rock stars and the great expectations of the band , which has always been very distressing for Rammstein. They celebrate the last supper - with cigarettes and liquor from a hip flask, similar to how Rammstein always does before they start a concert. The van stops, the band storms into the Opera/Church/Cathedral which is the powerful headquarters of Universal Music, to which Rammstein is contracted, while the car's license plate clearly reads "Lifad 6" - an acronym for the sixth Rammstein album "Love is for everyone" (Album „Liebe ist für alle da“). A wild shootout begins. The band fights their way to a heavy metal door marked "Mother-22". This is also a reference to an earlier album of the same name. In addition, the band obviously wears their style of the late 1990s and early 2000s. Till Lindemann, with black make-up and a mohawk, guitarist Richard Kruspe with jet-black hair that hangs in his face. As the band members enter the room, they find their own bodies preserved in cryochambers. They mourn briefly and set the room on fire, apparently an older version of themselves. Her appearance is strongly reminiscent of the cover of "Mother". The time around this album "Mutter" seems to have been central for the further career of the band. In several documentaries, the musicians stated that they almost broke up during this phase. The USA tour at that time was canceled - allegedly for health reasons. The main reason for the dispute was the different ideas of how one wanted to develop artistically. At that time, Till shot the video for the song Mother alone without the other band members. The band was about to break up and started doing therapy sessions together. It also fits this picture that the band in the video for "Adieu" finds itself in a cage in the form of a Rammstein logo, similar to Till Lindemann in the video “Mutter”, besieged by hordes of zombie-like creatures that are apparently supposed to represent their fans - trapped in the Success. After being overwhelmed by their "fans", the band members ascend to heaven. You can see her now, except for Lindemann, without make-up, freshly styled, apparently content. In exactly the same way, they throw themselves into the abyss (hell), from which the red cone of light shines. In Hell, they free themselves from the chains and thus free themselves. They crumble to dust and break out of the cage they were held in The band addresses their career and the "turning point" after the album "Mutter", which almost led to their separation from Rammstein. In the video, this change is probably symbolized by the fact that the "new" version of Rammstein, who storms into the opera, had to kill her old one, because otherwise she would have perished herself. The band members are preserved in the "Mother" room and their current versions march in and torch their clones with a petrol can. Are they not saying goodbye to the band, to themselves, as many believe, but to the idea of disbanding? It's an interpretation that also fits with a statement by guitarist Paul Landers: When meeting a fan before one of the concerts on the European tour, he stated that "Adieu" was not a farewell because all members still had a lot of fun with Rammstein. Rammstein never thought about quitting. The songs on the new album „Zeit“ are based on experiences and losses that the band members had to go through. Now that they have reinvented themselves and have all the freedom, they are able to face the pressure and expectations and break out of the "cage" on their own. The footage of the video, in which the band members are shot dead on the ground, shows Rammstein what would have happened if they hadn't managed to reinvent themselves. If the musicians hadn't managed to get into the room marked "Mother" and self-destruct there, they would be dead by now. So if they hadn't settled their disagreements at the time, Rammstein would have been long gone. Rammstein has overcome the times when there were many thoughts of quitting.
The way i read and watch this is that its an goodbye to the rosenrot / mutter era of Rammstein. Theyve changed, not as explosive and agressive , more mature and composed in the way they write music. Absolute masterpiece
I occasionally go back and watch your reaction to Du Hast and listen to the wonder in your voice as you finally discover Rammstein. What a journey it's been! From never hearing of them before, to reviewing their new album and then attending their concert. So much excitement, so much emotion and everything in between! What a special time we live in to bear witness to such an amazing group of people... individually incredibly talented, but together... having the ability to create such music, such videos, such art! I honestly can't imagine my life without Rammstein, and don't necessarily want to. I honestly feel that what they are, what they create and their comradery with each other... and their fans... is a gift to the world. And for that I will be thankful for the rest of my life! As soon as I saw that this was being released, I was waiting for your reaction. Rammstein brings something special out in you. You don't just listen, you don't just watch, you feel with the depths of your soul... and that's exactly what they want to do with the art they produce. With every reaction that you do of Rammstein (well, everything else as well), you pay homage to them and by you doing that, as well as the countless number of other fans, they have achieved what they set out to do. Bravo!
I love your interpretation of it. If you look in the credits, the people in the pit are listed as the damned. And you see Rammstein pulling free of the cage and tearing everything down. So yeah, maybe they're telling us they'll be here for us. I had to sit in total silence for about ten minutes after I watched the video. The scene where they're crying in grief over finding their copies just hit me so hard. Then, at the end, when it shows they failed, just heart-wrenching.
You bring so much beauty in to your reactions by your sensitivity that I admire so much. This is why I enjoy so much listening and experiencing music in your company thanks Aileen.
When Rammstein retires, it's the perfect farewell song and music video. So many callbacks in the video to other rammstein videos like Mutter (Cage/Writing/clones), Ich will (Robbery), Deutschland (Red timeline and Collapse), Sonne (all members in black coal dust), Seemann and Zeit (boat rowing, members floating and endcredits), Links 2 3 4 (the chanting from the fans), Halleluja and Rosenrot (the cross), Angst and others. The fact is that the whole album feels like a farewell and this song here is also the last track of this album. Then there is the fact that they are all not the youngest anymore (Till is almost 60) and that it only takes one of the members to get out and the whole band will go with him.
I love your reactions to Rammstein videos. You have the kind of sensibility that picks up on things that no other commentators seem to notice about Rammstein and their videos.
Rammstein was the first music I ever bought with my own money. Went halfsies on Sehnsucht on the day of its release with my best friend from school, we sprinted halfway across town during lunch break to buy it so we could listen to it during a free period - with headphones of course, it wouldn't have done to let a teacher know what 'extreme music' we were into.
Your facial expressions ran the gamut of emotions, even so throughout the video we can still see your enjoyment of the song through it all. Edit: Aye, Rammstein's concerts are something else. I was lucky enough to be close enough to the front at one of their concerts to feel the heat from their Pyrotechnics.
When reading that Specter again worked with them, I was expecting a masterpiece. He never failed to deliver. What an awesome video. Watching the ending yesterday I thought about you ;) poor Aileen they did it again.
Oh yes, that end section brought out a tear or two. Rammstein always has this lovely music with the end credits and they never appear on the CD, sadly.
This video was just incredible, heartbreaking and so emotional🙏🏻i'm half german so hearing this was just pure masterpiece❤i'm pleased to hear that you're learning german, it's difficult language, but believe me it's so beautiful and i'm sure you'll be better and better in it😍they are pure art🙏🏻if you wanna see another version of them, i can recommend their another song called "Bück dich" (live performance) haha, which might be a little bit different😂have a nice day❤
he says goodbye in french in english and in german so the band is addressing their fan so retirement is coming for them i guess! I'm sad! I was 13 when I started listening to Rammstein, I'm 20 years older today! if they stop after their tour I will be in mourning! Thanks for react ! 🖐from france!
Thank you Aileen, your Rammstein reviews are wonderful to watch. They really are on another level to everyone else. Did you do a review of their concert and if so where can we see it?
Thank you so much for your reactions. I can really see your emotions in your face expression and choice of words. I’m feeling so similar to you towards Rammsteins music and that is so satisfying to see. Thank you very much and I honestly don’t know how someone can be that brave showing their emotion in public that clear. Impressive and inspiring. I’m from Germany btw haha
as a german this will be my song at my funeral.it has something to do with the soul and at the same time with the ephemeral body. only death lives forever - Rammstein :) The last way you have to go... Is alone. Adieu
I´m going with Churchill on this one: "this is not the end. It´s not even the beginning of the end. But it might be the end of the beginning"...of Rammstein.
Nah, "Zeit" was obviously their final abum, and this is their last song. They are old men now, time to retire. The lyrics of this song and Zeit are very clear about this. There is an end to everything.
Thank you so much for your emotional reaction, this cinematic video exceeded all my expectations. Sadly they never made it to the elevator, in reality they saw themselves dying.
if rammstein should really stop then what is missing in this world the band made people celebrate no matter where and when i will miss you greetings from germany
First of all SPECTER BERLIN is the same company thaty directed Deutschland as signified by the RED LASER or the Red Line that connects German history. The band members first attempt to kill their clones because they didnt approve of their existence to continue beyond their real selves and they bid goodbye to each other by hugging and so. The second part shows them being caged but the symbolism is where they feel imprisoned by a horde of people like their fans and those fans also control the shackles attached to them. which they eventually in the end show manage to break free which also means the end of their legion of fans I reckon. The heavily emotional outro signifies some form of end as all band members shown laying dead. It might definitely not be the end of Rammstein but possibly the end of a chapter or phase as the music video ends with the red laser fading out. I must credit a random comment I came across in another channel where one person said Till originally wrote the song for a close friend who untimely passed away in 2019. However the band acknowledged their fans obviously being in 2 minds regarding their future from this song and smartly took the opportunity to make a music video out of it. Rammstein never fails to deliver. I was emotional in MetLife on Sept 6 and Im emotional everytime I listen to the song and now everytime I watch this music video. The Zeit reference was stronger and more significant than ever. Absolutely love them for it
So pleased Rammstein made this video and so pleased you reacted to it, it’s just brilliant and certainly my favourite album at the moment by a long way… maybe they will do Lügen as well..that would be awesome 👍🏻
The overall quality of Rammstein videos just surpasses themselves. It's like Hollywood/Bollywood doesn't even try to compete. At least in script/writing. Superb. Yes, R+ is still the original and they have expressed to play as long as they are the original six. And the "adieu" is to their former selves, they have no need to retire (several sources, interviews)
If it makes you feel better, I'm a full grown man who can bench press 400+ pounds, works a blue collar job, and has a giant beard. I cried like a baby when I watched this. Zeit did the same for me .
I have been a fan of Rammstein since 2001 when I saw "Lost Highway" at the cinema and the powerful music at the beginning blew me away! Immediately I had to look up who they were and found out that they were from the Soviet administered East Germany. They grew up being not allowed to listen to what they wanted or to travel and express themselves. In spite of that, they listened to the illegal West German Radio underneath their beds. (Hence the song "Radio"). Arranging illegal Punk concerts and constantly being spied on. The wall came down and then they could watch American films and fell in love with David Lynch, so they sent him a cassette tape with their songs. Lynch kind of ignored it but his wife convinced him to listen to them when he was driving to work. It blew him away and the rest is history. This video is very Lynchian and full of references to their past. I see it as the "Ich Will" priests are on a mission to destroy their past "Mutter" clones and set their souls free. The red line is the life line of Rammstein, their clones are trapped and their souls are in hell together with the "Damned" who are worshipping effigies of them. They cut the life line and ascend to the next level. They did die in their mission but they are still here in a new incarnation. It's about cutting the ties with your past and move on but not to disappear, a new future for Rammstein who just keeps maturing and get better all the time.
This song is actually a tribute to a passed friend, I read about it somewhere. Regardless, so many meanings behind this song, just like every other of their songs. Not a single word, not a single tune goes to waise. A long time "Du riechst so gut" was my favorite Rammstein song, could be another reaction if not already done. Keep up the work
This video has so many hints and possible ways of interpretation: First of all there are references to earlier songs and videos like "Ich Will" ("heist", haircut, smoking), "Mein Herz Brennt" (grid, cave), "Deutschland" (red beam and coffin in space shown at the official countdown to the premiere) , "Liebe ist für alle da", "Mann gegen Mann" (masses of bodies), and of course: "MUTTER" (cave with grid, Till in cave, "Mutter 22" on the laboratory door). It looks like they are on a crusade (crosses in focus) using a car with "LIFAD 6" as number plate: LIFAD is the official fan community of Rammstein and also the name of their sixth album. They enter the Paris opera house and shoot their way towards the "laboratory". While doing so, they are "dirty", dressed up for the fight. Flake mages to get the door opened with his hacker tool. On the door you find the letters “Mutter 22”. This can have (at least for me) two meanings: Their third album Mutter was released in 2001 and will become 21 years old next year. Even more fitting is another explanation for me: Around the time of “Mutter”, the band had internal conflicts and they were even close to a split. Beside other things there were disputes about the artistic future. So, they open the door “of “Mutter” and behind it there are clones of themselves. And they somehow have a kind of similar looking to the fetus (a 200 year old dead fetus btw.) One could see those “clones” as former beings of them from the “Mutter” area. Beside that the always straight red beam (past and future / red thread) has lost its direction. Like the band wasn’t clear which way to proceed. The current Rammstein change their behavior, become soft, sentimental, … before they burn down the lab and their “Mutter” clones. For me it shows, that they had to break free from the situation they were in, but nevertheless it was their live and their success, … The following scene will introduce the cave to us. From above there are six statues looking / facing downwards into it. Down there are the band members in a cage surrounded by masses of creatures (for me the fans). The band members in the cage are attached to chains, which are pulled by the creatures (fans). The band is stuck in a cage is in hell. The masses are following them, but they are are also “tormenting” the band. The fans themselves are also stuck in hell themselves. Within the cave the band is first in the cage and has metal “helmets” on and the creatures don’t move. Then they get rid of the helmets and the fans start to move. The bands gets more energetic. Finally they get free and rise towards heaven, smiling, but there is still some firing of guns. With them the fans rise up. The next scene is still irritating: The band is on ground level of the opera again, moves towards the cage and they all jump into the cave. Now you see the “band-creatures” standing on top of the cave. They rise their arms and it seems that they are pulling down the giant statues from the top of the cave. Everything crushes down, but the straight red beams rises upwards. They had to crush the hell with the giant statues as “gods” at the top and the band caught in a cage at the bottom to have a straight direction again. While the credits of this incredibly insane production are shown, one can see the dead band members lying on the floor towards the laboratory door. Right in front of the door with still “Mutter-22” on it, we find the dead Flake with his not successful hacker tool trying to unlock the door. Is this an alternative ending? Maybe. Somehow. I get the idea, that there are two time layers woven together. In the past the crushed the hell, escaping the boundaries given by fans, public, media and very probably even themselves. They were successful and the band had a future, represented by the straight upward red beam. But history can repeat. They are always endangered to get trapped again, to be torn apart. And therefore in 2022 there can be a new “Mutter-Crisis” like in the original one. They have to be aware of it and have to fight it every time it happens. When they nowadays find their “clones” behind that door, they know, they have to “burn” them down, but they have now a more differentiated view onto the past and therefore there is also sympathy for and an emotional connection with their “clones”. But if they do not face the danger of getting trapped again (as clones or as caged creatures) there will be no future for Rammstein. Then band “THEN” would die and the red beam would disappear. But if they are aware of it and if they continuously succeed to avoid being trapped again, there IS a future for the band All these ideas written down here are my personal thoughts. They can be one explanation, they can be wrong, they can be one of many interpretations. I still have so many question marks myself. But also some ideas, that might be not totally wrong.
I love rammstein and have been seeing their shows for a decade and a half and I love lindemann I hugged him many times. I went to the Montreal show in August their first north america show and opened first in Montreal

I'm 53 and been listening to them for 25yrs... this is one of best they've ever done, very emotional ending
Lyrics are deep and dark. The videos never disappoint. Nothing short of spectacular.
The beginning is like a Batman movie......i like it.
agreed!! :)
Paul's coat has a pin with the Joker on it.
The choked cry when the piano started is a reaction that only happens people who have experienced it live, recall the feeling of when they were there. Rammstein is, in my opinion, the single most emotionally powerful band on earth.
Could properly name you a handful more..
Buuut.. I agree there are few to match rammstein

Fun fact here, the building we see at the begin is the Opéra Garnier in Paris.
The location suits Rammstein, as their performances are very operatic too.
such a perfect location to set the tone for the video
@@AileenSenpai and another big fun fact, Rammstein are until today, the one and only band ever allowed to film there x)
They will reborn soon! i can't believe another way!
It's the greatest band of all time.
I still remember the time
when German bands and texts should not be successful.
I am so proud. Greetings from Germany
There's RAMMSTEIN then others. They are not video s they are productions. Not many if any bands put so much passion and love into what they do.
I absolutely loved your review. Mainly because you viewed it as an actual fan.
I'm so sick of these worthless reaction videos that are way too long and often seem that they are only digging for comments.
You have gained a subscriber. Great job!

Only Death lasts till the end of time
It whispers under the firs rock (german saying for something thats hard to see but there -> under the cover of the tree)
it must drag everything into its darkness (death is "it")
even the sun will burn out in the end
Chorus:
But dont be afraid, we are with you
one last time, so we are singing:
adieu, goodbye, aufwiedersehen
the last path is on you to walk alone
one last song ,one last kiss, no wonder is gonna happen
adieu goodbye aufwiedersehen,
the time with you was beautiful
out of the life you are rising quietly
the soul goes on a silent voyage
flesh will decay away, spirit will rise
"being" will bow to death ( meant is the physical existance)
Chorus
everyone dies for themselv
but you will always be with us.
adieu, goodbye aufwiedersehen
out of the several translations I've researched - I find yours resonates best for me. Thank you
@@TheJimmyClip means a lot, thank you. Never go for automatic translation if you want to understand the real meaning :) ask mothertongues, they are aaaalways glad to help, i have found that it makes most proud even. But yea, thanks!!
Wow. Rammstein never fails to amaze. Somehow nobody else can match that exact sound. Great reaction!

So this means that this is the last song from Rammstein? They'll get retirement?! 😐

A song that would be the perfect for when they carry your coffin to the grave.
The lyrics really hits hard
Die Zeit mit dir war schön.“
I thank Rammstein so much for this song and you for this great reaction. Warm greetings from Germany. 🖤
so sorry for your lost!! :(
I love these headphones.
I was there too. The atmosphere was perfect. The cool breeze off the lake between those bursts of fire. Never forget it.❤🇩🇪
I was there as well, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. That was my 9th time seeing them and they never disappoint, and the video for Adieu is badass.
@@peterbevair4400 omg yes the breeze was unreal that night, brought the heat of the fire and kept us warm and cozy. Greatest show i've ever been to for sure.
Damn, idk, but when I watched their clip for the first time I felt just like you in video, so emotional ❤🩹
I love Rammstein +Reaction from you ! gib mir mehr ....
I just came to write that I expect your reaction, while you have already posted it. Hurray!!
Rammstein are such great artists in more than one way. really love them..
47 years old...loved them from the beginning
At the beginning some important references in the video for interpretation:
-References to religion are present throughout the video. The costumes that the band wears, the purification by fire, the scene where the band flies away in a whirlwind;
-The scene where Till passes his head outside the truck resembles one of the scenes of "Batman: The Dark Knight". Paul has a "Joker" badge on his jacket;
-The truck's plate reads "LI FAD 6", a reference to Rammstein's sixth album;
-The guard passing through the window has a "Universal Music" badge. The entrance to the Opera House also says "Universal";
-The fight scene has several "Matrix" references;
-It is written "Mutter 22" next to the armored door of the chambers room. Flake's computer program looks like the artwork from the Mutter album;
-The busts used on the artwork of Video 1995-2012 are visible on the screens next to the caissons;
-On the gas can, a flower can be seen like on the album Herzeleid;
-The scene where the band floats in the sky is a reference to the movie "The Immortals";
-The red lasers are of course the same as the ones in the video Deutschland
At the beginning, the band sits heavily armed in a troop transport as a kind of special task force and drives through a city at night while Till Lindemann sticks his head out of the window - just like the Joker in the DC film "Batman: The Dark Knight".
They crumble to dust and break out of the cage they were held in
The band addresses their career and the "turning point" after the album "Mutter", which almost led to their separation from Rammstein.
It's an interpretation that also fits with a statement by guitarist Paul Landers:
When meeting a fan before one of the concerts on the European tour, he stated that "Adieu" was not a farewell because all members still had a lot of fun with Rammstein.
You are the most beautiful person. Most important is you are you
The way i read and watch this is that its an goodbye to the rosenrot / mutter era of Rammstein. Theyve changed, not as explosive and agressive , more mature and composed in the way they write music. Absolute masterpiece
Amazing Video!!
they did such an amazing job as always!
I'm glad you got to see them live. As you said, it's one of the best experiences in life
Rammstein don't set the bar, THEY ARE THE BAR!
i love Rammstein i also saw them live in South Africa when they toured here best band ever the flames were sick also ❤
You bring so much beauty in to your reactions by your sensitivity that I admire so much.
Im 56 and still discovering Rammsttein. very poetic music, very to the point.
Every time Rammstein just makes me feel like a young kid again with new music.
Spectacular, just fukn EPIC. These guys are so talented and so badass. Wow!
It’s called the Fire Zone.. yes, and also got ‘shot’ during Pussy. I always gonna cherish this year’s Stadium concert
When reading that Specter again worked with them, I was expecting a masterpiece. He never failed to deliver. What an awesome video. Watching the ending yesterday I thought about you ;) poor Aileen they did it again.
Was waiting your reaction since it's out.

Another masterpiece of this genius band. Happy, that I grabbed tickets again for next year tour :-)
One of the best songs of Rammstein , it’s real music art at it’s finest 😎😎😎😎😎😎✌️👍💋german girls are the best
im so proud to be a part of Germany that born so incredible Band and i like ur reaction to Rammstein :D you make some funny faces
the begining of the end.. so beautiful and sad. awesome reaction aileen!
One of the only two bands, that can bring tears to my eyes, other being Sabaton.
I got so excited when I watched this premiere yesterday! I knew it was going to be a short turnaround for you to react to it. Such a great video!
I think I melted my brain analyzing this video during my reaction.
11:04 Did you notice how the red light beam goes out?
Thank you Aileen, your Rammstein reviews are wonderful to watch. They really are on another level to everyone else. Did you do a review of their concert and if so where can we see it?
Absolute MASTERPIECE!
Awesome reaction. You are still the number 1, it’s a honor to see, how you like these Band.
Now we need Rammstein - Bück dich ! 😂
Love ya and your reactions! All the best for you! One thing.. a lot of people do not get how beautiful you are.. especially inside.. Thank you.
i got to see um in Chicago....loved um from the start.... Rammstein ist Fur Immer..!!!!
as a german this will be my song at my funeral.it has something to do with the soul and at the same time with the ephemeral body.
only death lives forever - Rammstein :)
The last way you have to go... Is alone. Adieu
I might add this to the music list for my funeral but I already have Pet Semetary penciled in.
I like that you are getting prepared.
..even in life performnce,on stage...so much dedication' to music..wow! respect
I am a german and love this band so much, but if I see Alieens reactions and emotions... I feel same. I'ts magic. I love RUclips Chanel.
"It's so beautiful and sad".
That's my world view.
The ending of Adieu as the beginning of Sights is a beautiful metaphor that they "Have the End in Sight".
That is Rammstein. It's all in there. The trash, the primitive and the deeper deep you never excepted.
Thank you so much for your emotional reaction, this cinematic video exceeded all my expectations. Sadly they never made it to the elevator, in reality they saw themselves dying.
Rammstein never fail.
The way the circle closes in on the ADIEU at the end, to make DIE
if rammstein should really stop then what is missing in this world the band made people celebrate no matter where and when i will miss you greetings from germany
Absolutely love them for it
Adieu; una canción que te conmueve el corazón aún si no sabes de que trata la canción 💖🔥.
Thanks Aileen!!
Love your reactions always!!

Since I heard it, I felt it was a letter of gratitude and farewell.😢
So pleased Rammstein made this video and so pleased you reacted to it, it’s just brilliant and certainly my favourite album at the moment by a long way… maybe they will do Lügen as well..that would be awesome 👍🏻
Their videos are awesome.
I sobbed when I watched this.. very emotional
Love watching you listening, feeling, and lovin' the ÜBER Rammstein
Perfect last song for a concert...
On the 4th january Till has his 60th birthday.
If it makes you feel better, I'm a full grown man who can bench press 400+ pounds, works a blue collar job, and has a giant beard. I cried like a baby when I watched this. Zeit did the same for me .
Maybe see a therapist?

Same here mate, no shame in being made to feel human 👍
@dareal5401 it's called stereotypes and societal expectations, you can tell you're not in the same situation 😂
I've been a fan of Rammstein for 18 years and I wept watching their video.
Keep up the work
Once again.. AileenSenpai didn't let us down...
This video has so many hints and possible ways of interpretation:
First of all there are references to earlier songs and videos like "Ich Will" ("heist", haircut, smoking), "Mein Herz Brennt" (grid, cave), "Deutschland" (red beam and coffin in space shown at the official countdown to the premiere) , "Liebe ist für alle da", "Mann gegen Mann" (masses of bodies), and of course: "MUTTER" (cave with grid, Till in cave, "Mutter 22" on the laboratory door).
Even more fitting is another explanation for me:
Around the time of “Mutter”, the band had internal conflicts and they were even close to a split. For me it shows, that they had to break free from the situation they were in, but nevertheless it was their live and their success, …
The following scene will introduce the cave to us.
But if they are aware of it and if they continuously succeed to avoid being trapped again, there IS a future for the band
All these ideas written down here are my personal thoughts. They can be one explanation, they can be wrong, they can be one of many interpretations. I still have so many question marks myself. But also some ideas, that might be not totally wrong.
I know now you understand Zeit. Love that.
I love rammstein and have been seeing their shows for a decade and a half and I love lindemann I hugged him many times. I went to the Montreal show in August their first north america show and opened first in Montreal
Super Happy you took my comment onboard and reacted to this :D
best band in the last 20yrs, seen them live this year n they were just perfect. AND LOUD
