the marksman support thing is mostly a way for the pros to throw random ideas at the wall and see what works against karma and heimer. this should change once they start playing next patch tho, with all the engage supp buffs

As an MF adc, lately Ive had nunu and ekko sups and its been pretty sick! With the early assists i can buy items quickly and defend my lane alone if need be while they roam.
yeah, adc got that weird curve of needing absolutely to get fed and snowball super hard early, so that you can be pussy and survive through the midgame because all other champions need two items to function and you need four, and finally becoming a totally broken unstoppable death machine once you reach 5th item, and yet still get oneshot by a 0/12 assassin or ireliyasuo archetype that got one item and a pair of boots... it's weird really, adc is the most scaling champion category, and yet the most worry free time as adc is early game.

I remember everyone yelling about how adc was useless. Adcs shouldn’t be strong without items period imo. But NOOOOOOOO the shutters that play never understood how range and positioning on the map work.
ADC's also shouldn't a 1 build fits all and get combo'd to death by a support 2 items behind, but Riot simps for Chinese viewers so here we are

Okay smart guy, how do you balance early game for adcs then without the typical jg/ mid camping? Sup can only do so much against anyone camping recalls. I fully understand the idea of adc being for late game, but come on, rarely do games last that long anymore. IRL a bullet or arrow could kill you in one hit and/or deal significant damage. IMHO adcs should be the strongest dmg dealers, with the narrowest hit boxes making each skill shot worth it, with enough early game hp to survive, and if you go down you can at least chunk whomever got you. Make them weak in the sense they go down easy from lack of armor or def, but their dmg output should make up for it. Scale the early game atk speed and/or dmg to closer to midgame without items, make them farm significantly faster than other classes, and let them be a threat throughout the game but dependent on landing those skill shots.
@@Undomaranel yes that's the problem, you even type it out yourself yet fail to realize. Adc isn't weak, it was never weak, other classes were too strong. Buffing something that feels weak (but isn't actually weak) because others are OP just make it even more unbalanced. Also when we had adc meta it was the most boring dogshit meta to watch and play, i don't want it again.
@@Undomaranel It's because Riot can't create a single item without making it OP for one champ or another. Once the mid assassin gets his first item he just ooga boogas into bot lane for a double kill. They should take example from Dota 2 tbh and how they make their items. Items there have generally less strong early powerspike, it's the synergy with multiple items that makes them strong.
I remember trying this when Kalista first came out. It just made sense to me with how she worked, and it was fairly effective. Unfortunately, adc was never my best roll. But I also had someone to synergies with.
Keria is the support player for T1, plays a fair amount of marksman supports (Ashe, Cait, MF, Twitch) and has a really high winrate in pro-play with most of them, so he's kind of the golden standard for how to play most of them. His Twitch support looked pretty rough, but he's undefeated on the others, and considering Korea plays best of 3's, he gets more "professional" games in per week than a lot of other support players. Watched T1 vs DRX this morning, and in game 2 it was Gumayusi on Varus and Keria on Caitlyn vs Beryl on Ashe and Deokdam on Jhin, and my god was the damage coming out of bot lane insane (mostly T1, DRX is tied for last place, T1 is first, so not surprised to see there is a skill gap)
That SRO clip sums up why I have Perma banned accounts. Literally one of the text chats they used as evidence against me, was me TELLING MY TEAM TO PLAY THE GAME AND STOP ARGUING.
I wish they had enough humans to manually review that shit but we're stuck with A.I. that can't comprehend how language is used.
When I play ADC, I admit that "helping" with minions will often throw off the ADC's timing on getting CS and often ends up taking CS away. I'm also having fun playing Vex as support. Just have to time those fears right.
I also tried out Vex support a few months ago and shes really fun, u can poke pretty easily and with ur ult can just oneshot an ADC (which isnt too hard but its still very satisfying), great video :D
Iron 4 games are more interesting than Pro plays.
Tho Professional trolling is picking singed top (Proxying your adc and support) and ivern mid (Feeding buffs to enemy) duo.

I had similar chat restriction to this one eventhou i disabled chat in game 2y ago, full of positive comments pre game and "gg" postgame. Finished as honor 5 player last season. The worse thing is I got chat restricted 2 times in 1 week.

I played Zyra for years, and I swear to god man, I would E into QWW to nuke a person to less than a bar, and have to chase down the enemy to kill them myself while my ADCs would be pinging because my spell or plant clipped (and didn't kill) a minion.
Then these same mouth-breathing, babysat little crybabies would whine that I was taking all the kills when I was spoon feeding them to the idiots while they clamped their lips shut like spoiled toddlers who just wanted something to cry about.
I have no love for ADCs after playing support. I actively find glee as a player in hunting them on the enemy team, and I've had this invoked in me not by ENEMY ADC players but by ALLIED ADC players.
If I had $1 for every time I was sitting on highest vision and CC score, the enemy turret down, my ADC missing half the creeps but still somehow ahead in farm and levels, a 25 stacked Mejai's Soulstealer, and our team up ten kills... just to have my ADC flaming the crap out of me? I'd probably be able to pay a month's rent with it. They are so fucking entitled dude. So fucking pathetic.
