It takes 5 players playing smart for a chance to win and one to lose. Doesn't do any good if you're the only one on the court while the other four dance off in base.

@@League____ ashe's w is not what i'm seeing, at exactly 8:09 you can see the vayne had flashed out and above her head is a blue stream with lighting around it or blue smite. check. 7:30 here you also see kahz use blue smite and the animation is the same, blue streak with lightning effects around it.

yeah I tried to play the game again these past two days and besides 1 decent game I had the worst LoL experience of all time.
like 5 games of being unable to do anything at all but play PvE against the minions, pushed out of lane early game, anytime another player approached my position I had to run or I would just die. Couldn't do anything whatsoever, and that's the story of toplane: die once, get 1 level behind, die twice be 2 levels behind, and you've lost the lane and might as well just AFK because there's no way you catch up and you just end up giving even more gold to the other team.
I even had a game where I got auto-filled midlane and had to fight a plat 4 level 7 94k points Syndra, I am not even ranked, my account is level 44....

@@sakurahirawa Nah I gave league one more game yesterday. I picked Volibear top and I have to fight a level 7 100k+ teemo player whose account is like level 400something. Needless to say that I got absolutely destroyed, teammates starts hella flamin', we surrender and I closed out and uninstalled. Never touching this garbage again.
@@boredgamer7841 I’m sorry that happened. In my experience in wildrift I’ve only ever had one rude person in a match and that was in my first game. But I’ve played like 250 or so matches and I’ve met pretty good players - maybe it’s because it’s mobile or just less players?
I understand if you gave up on leauge though, it’s a very toxic game sadly. But in my opinion I think wildrift is kinda like a fresh start for people who like the game but not the toxicity.
I wish you luck in other games though, if you play PS4 (I think it’s on PC too?) there’s a game called Paladins I like to play sometimes, if I remember the other games later I can edit and them in. But if you play PC only I can look and see if some games I play are on PC too?

I mean wth, why am I being matched up against these players? There's no way that I can even contest the lane against someone with far more experience than me. It is so demotivating just being bend over every game and only being able to play PvE ffor 20min because I am sitting 2-3 levels and hundreds of gold behind. I am just going to play Lost Ark while I wait for wotlk, mobas can burn in a fire.
I had a game as Voli jungle, my top irelia refused to leash me - fine whatever, I solo the enemy red buff and raptors and warded Elise’s jungle, we saw elise on the ward, I spam ping but Irelia keeps pushing wanting to 1v2 which failed, then she proceeds to sell all items, blame me and run it down.
Enemy Elise went afk cuz I gapped her but unfortunately having a feeder giving gold is worse than just a mere AFK….
This is why I play norms lol. If people keep bitching and inting I just leave do something else for 30 minutes then queue again. But in rank your basically trapped in the game whether you like it or not
@@Mazhura_13B I mean if you have a decent pc you can still do that. I've had games where my support is blatantly running it down or intentionally stealing entire waves because they're mad at me and in those games I load up steam, play an indie roguelite that I have and alt tab back into league to auto a minion or camp every 1-1 1/2 minutes. You actually don't get flagged by the afk thing. Sure people can report you but I mean the number of games where you legitimately get a griefer who won't listen and is bitching and actually inting is not that often.

Try getting counter jungled the whole game by Ivern and Nunu, both of which are on your team and you did nothing to provoke such bullshit. Oh, and yes, it was a ranked game.
I had someone start clearing my camps to “teach me how to jg” because I was full clearing on hecarim with 2 points in my Q on krugs, this top laner assist pings me 1v2, I ping I haven’t learned E yet, and then they proceed to take the fight and accuse me of having no map awareness and “let them die to farm krugs.”
It is kind of weird isn't it...? That a game can be decided more definitely by having a bad player, than having a really good player?
well they've actively taken steps to keep good players getting ahead (increased xp if you're below the average level of the game, bounties on players and objectives for the worse team being the largest ones) so even if you get ahead it's unpunishable 90% of the time because you fuck up once and that 20 minute lead you grew is gone.

well, not really. It's a team game, or at least supposed to be. Riot's pushing for big soloq plays in order to generate hype left the game in this deplorable and arguably more tilting state it's in.

i swear idk if its just bronze but every game me and my duo were about to win someone decides they have to throw. its so frustrating i just don't understand why. its not even bad players they aren't the problem. its the people with huge egos that go 1v5 and feel invincible cuz they got a kill once and the thowers who throw for sport. i dont understand every game we are about to win someone turns a switch in their brain and decides, no. we have to lose bc they feel offended or something
Bronze / iron is so funny. You can have like 12 kills but your team thinks they are strong but they all have like 1 it soo funny. Gold is not given equally in LoL. I don’t play anymore but thinking back on it is so funny.

I made a Vlad leave the game in under 6 minutes Mid, he was dead on CD since lvl 2.
We nearly lost the game because my teams incompetence was a far more potent win condition for the enemy team.

Here's an awesome strategy I came up with with a friend. It's called the Jungle Camping Shaco Teemo strategy. Here's how you do it:
Step 1) Take Teemo bot with Shaco support, main runes Dark Harvest on both.
Step 2) Lane till lvl 11, and get bot turret, while building Liandrys first, followed by Demonic.
Step 3) Go into the enemy Jg that's between the enemy base and drag, and constantly fill with as many traps and mushrooms while farming their JG.
Step 4) Once Jg is full of shrooms, start pushing in bot lane, and whenever the enemy comes you retreat into Jg and they die to all your traps. With this strategy, your team has full drake control.
The most important part in this strategy is whenever you think you put down enough traps, put some more.
What if they use sweeper? That's where the Shaco ult comes in. U send it into them to do damage, and they have to back off and their sweeper runs out.
It may take a few games to get to late game to see the effectiveness in this strategy, they'll keep ff'ng :)
Hey Rav! I started spam watching your videos a couple days ago, mostly starting with the older ones and you are hands down the most entertaining youtuber. It's rare that I have to pause a video so much and rewind just from dying of laughter. In one of your videos from a year ago you said that your main job is being a software engineer. Is that true? If so, that is so freaking cool. I've been coding damn near everyday since September and Friday will be the last day of my coding boot camp and then I head off into the world. I was consistantly climbing with 70%wr into gold 2, when i got 2 extremely bad teams in a row what just made rito MMR decide I should be put into losers Q. Since then, my every single game looked like this. Paired up with trolls, inters and basically everybody is giving up after first death. Im not playing anymore.

I call it instalosses/wins when the game is due on less than 25min.
Mines games that are not already decided since start record going into 40min+ (this is why i felt when i have to win a game it took me over an hour, but to lost it is less than 20min).
Yeah man. I don't have the time to play League all the time so I'll probably always be a trash hardstuck jungler, but every time I hop in ranked with a buddy it'll be one or two good games vs an inting enemy team, and then ten losers Q matches with the perma-roaming-feed-every-lane supports, solo laners that think that laning = 1v1 enemy laner over and over until you win, and ADCs that don't understand that their champs are squishy and must position carefully to stay safe and optimize damage output.
Happened to me out of nowhere and I refuse to believe shit is not rigged. There is no way I went from 64% winrate up to Plat 3 to down to Gold 2 and a 34% winrate over the last 50 games with almost every win a complete stomp where the whole team was gapped.

Literally, this is why I’m stuck. 2 games in a row, Pyke support decides it’s wise to sit in mid lane and take just enough XP to leave me level 1 while the enemy laner is level 3, only to miss his Q twice and then wander off with nothing to show except 6 stolen minions and a level advantaged Yasuo.
Someone said to me that you should NEVER play ranked because it's designed to make you play more, not enjoy the game! And it was the best advice! I haven't played ranked in a month and I feel like the game is fun again

@@marksmith161 Not a coward trust me, I just don’t see the point in filling my free time with a mode on a game that is filled with people who are incredibly toxic, troll to another level, and intentionally throw games because of one tiny mistake in sometimes up to 50min game. Literally one missed skill shot, one tiny misstep, literally seconds out of regularly 30-40mins.
I’d rather fill my time with a mode I can have fun in, try things, and with teammates that (95% of the time) either stay quiet, maybe ping once or twice, or just go with it and have fun.
Seems simple to me really, no cowardice involved in walking away from toxicity.
This is a very accurate representation of what the game has become.
Seeing this evidence makes me change my stance on how Rito is approaching the balance of this game.
Balancing around pro play might be the best bet here because those people can actually play the game, unlike some people in the video.

Riot is stupid but non the less the reason that the game is in such a shit spot is because the people at the top of the company don't care that the game is dying they want their money NOW. If they get more profit now and the company disappears in 5 years it doesn't matter to them. So most decisions come from the idea that profit now is more important than a player base that would make more money in the long run. Its the typical life cycle of any company.

the balance isent the main issue, its the lack of punishment for the trolls/inters, thye could put some money into having ppl actually look thru replays or just monitor ppl with a large amount of deaths and ban them from ranked play with a notice that they need to improve in normal
Thank you Daddy rav for incentivizing me to not return to league. Before I quit I got the worst hot streak of inters and soft griefers on both ends of the teams and that kinda killed my motivation to grind rank. Back then the frequency of griefers were few and far between and those that were obviously running it down and needed attention was like 1 in 50 games. But as time went by the amount of people genuinely queueing up just to either ruin someone's game or lash out on people who they haven't met irl is increasing and it killed my passion to play this game on a daily basis
What's crazy is a GM players told me " If you lose it's your fault. " But then stuff like this happens all the time in silver / gold elo.
This is why I dont play on summoner's rift. Ranked and normals, EVEN URF, is like this. You'd think the casual game modes are less problematic but no, in fact people almost flame MORE in urf than they do in normals, like their elo depends on it.
What I like is when you have a game exactly like this but someone like akali would flame YOU for everything even though you have super feeder brand on your team. Sadly this type of behaviour often also seeps into ARAM which is the only league gamemode I still play. Really though... This is almost the STANDARD in league. Riot saying it only happens in 2% of games is a big fat lie. It happens almost every game and even ARAM isnt safe.
I agree with the Akili statement so much. It’s beyond infuriating when the only guy on your team that isn’t bad is going like 6/7/10 decides that it’s the 7/1/16 Ashes Fault you are losing, and not the 15 death brand.

I had 3 games back to back where one or more of my teammate got mad at a winnable game because it was winnable.
So funny bc I just had a game yesterday with a nami that did this. I think she was more useful than the raka, but exactly the same. She died twice in bot lane and then just started roaming and never went back.

Legit about 7/10 of my last ranked SoloQ matches have had someone either afk'ing in spawn all the way to stand under tower for 25minutes throwing and none of them have gotten banned. I don't know how there can be a troll in nearly every game (either my team or enemies) and they still don't get banned.
Then the high elo peeps will tell us hardstuck dipshits to git gud XD
I want to give a shout out to people who have a bad start and don't mentally explode. It sucks to be the feeder and we all have had bad games where we're that guy feeding the hyper carry. But I've seen people stick it out and keep farming and keep showing up to team fights and they do end up contributing to a victory because they keep their cool. It's not ideal, but I think learning how to let other people carry you is an underrated skill in league.
This is how my account got perma banned. I was just so frustrated with inting supports that do their "best" that I just started expressing how I feel about them a bit too honestly. Then Riot decided to perma ban my 10 years old account.

As somebody who literally had been perma banned for this reason I know there's a build up, and you went through a suspension beforehand as well. Just stop being toxic, turn chat off, and just play.
I wound up getting my account back after 8 months and reopening a ticket asking for an unban request.
@@unknow11712 Depends on what you say, I think. I was never chat restricted in years of playing League without ever inting or AFKing, even back when I was toxic in the chat on a daily basis. I was only banned for 2 weeks and then permabanned instantly because I said "kys", and if I remember it right that happened on two different accounts. I'm not making excuses for toxicity, not even mine, nowadays I think being toxic in a video game is childish and/or useless. I'm just saying that certain words are punished more harshly automatically, even receiving a permaban sometimes. Whether that's fair or not it can be a whole other discussion.
Biggest problem with these kinds of videos with me is that despite having these kinds of players on my team l am still able to climb the ladder....l honestly very rarely get soft trols or even regular trols....at most people just give up and thats like 1 in 10 games....for those wondering my acc is DraganDestroyer...l might not be too high elo but still yeah, just a litle rant. It's always so damn common now. I swear, people go into Ranked already tilted, and just ONE little thing will set them off to run it down. Everyone could be doing good, but then the jungler gets killed in their jungle by the enemy jungler, and ints because "no one was there to help me", or a lane dies their first time, and get tilted because their ego is so damn big. It's always something. Hell, especially when some people be going in high as hell, or drunk as hell...maybe both; so then they're just playing like shit the whole game.

I had a teammate that decided to int because Riot had banned their main account. What result was the miracle of a game where my team won while having a 0/45/0 Poppy.

I swear riot has made support the least punishing role and most op role for idiots to get away with being bad and doing things that affect their teammates especially their adc.
Example Reworked brand = press qwer before you die = good and rewarded. Old brand actually having skills = bad and punished.
That is very true for games like league and overwatch where solo queue games are not decided by which team has better player but who has the bigger moron or morons.
All it takes for the enemy to win is to kill the good player on the enemy team. Its a single player game.

A fundamental part of my strategy when playing league is to trash talk (win or lose) the enemy team in an attempt to tilt them resulting in the enemy doing my teams job for us.
Not bad, I try something similar once, but my team start: you are really mean to them, we should report you.
We end up losing the game even when i win my lane.

I never got the fun in backdooring, which is effectively what Hullbreaker is. You spend nearly all of the game either pveing with minions, or getting gang banged by the enemy team when they come to stop you. So your backdoor experience is either a grey screen, or beating the snot out of hooded minions and towers.
And then they added hullbreaker, which makes it pretty much nigh impossible unless your fed to bring down these back dooring chodes, to the point it's become meta to just ignore everything going on to destroy one lane or die in the process.
Seriously, in a PvP based game, why do some people choose "But i'd rather do pve with no bots instead."

Having a jg Nunu, who understandably got autofilled into jg, decides to rage at me early game when I pinged him to not overextend (leading to me muting him). Then he goes 4/10, lose nearly every jg camp, and even run it down mid to then solo baron only to die to enemy team who takes the baron after. League of Legends 2022 everybody!! 😑
I had a game yesterday where a Karma mid quit after our jg died in a fight at 7 mins. She then sat in fountain and just flamed everyone one the whole game, then once again in post game chat. Checked OP.GG and would you believe it lvl 30 character and they hadnt won a game all season. Never had a game past 20mins, this persons whole life was dedicated to losing games by making up something to be mad about and then trying to tilt everyone.

Honestly this is exactly the problem with League anymore. You cannot carry like you used to be able to, because each individual objective matters so much less. I used to just be able to go, "We'll stack dragons and win, I'll take them myself." Or, "I'll take towers while they dick off." But that's not possible anymore with how they've restructured the game, and I don't know what you're supposed to do.
You asked if anyone else has similar experiences. Yes, everybody. That is standard League of Legends gameplay. The commentary is gold though so I guess I'll keep watching.

Rant about that surrender vote: I don't get how there's always, in every game, at least two people who want to forfeit the game regardless of how it is going. It can absolutely madden me to see that surrender vote coming out in a 8-8 kill game at 15 mins. Like, how do these people live their lives? Anything doesn't go 100% like you want it to go so you just instantly give up and call it a day?
I hate it when that happens I usually mute chat but sometimes ill try to calm peeps down to bring team morale up but some people just don't have the mental fortitude and just continue to tilt.

ive had plenty similar experiences which is why I don't play things like aram ash in solo queue. You always need to be on something that can just hard carry a fight, nothing is more annoying to me than watching this and knowing "if he was crit ash he would be killing their whole team with this positioning and kiting hes doing", which is how I felt watching this whole video. Aram ash or other supportive type builds/champs (basically any champion that cannot solo win a game without reliance on teammates) is just doomed to leaving you feel like you're at the mercy of inters, trolls and worse players. A great example would be soraka or ivern solo lane, both are very good but both do rely on a duo being in a carry role to reliably win games you deserve to win. The alternative is accepting that you actually cant play these carry champions and you cant 1v9 and you need to play these supportive easier styles to be impactful and you have to either find a duo that can use your beneficial gameplay as a way to win you both games or you need to just accept that some games are just auto lost to who has the biggest troll.
TLDR: playing hard carry 1v9 champions/builds will mitigate the impact a "battle of the worst troll" actually has on your game and if you can't play them then duo with someone that can or you have to accept your fate.

These videos always keep me going with League, only because I know I am not alone dealing with the toxic dumbasses. Getting three bad experiences in a row where my team fights like a dysfunctional poly relationship, the Viktor mid begins to run down mid because he died twice at 7 mins and refuses to play, then the Fiddlesticks JG afking because "I am sick of being the one getting cucked by Riot's matchmaking WAAAAAH!". Just makes me feel good knowing im not the only one honestly.

That's a sad reality of 98% of ranked games. Not who has the best players, but which team gets the troll(s).
Every ranked game I play I get at least two of these players, because one of them ints 3 deathe in the first 4 minutes and then the other starts talking sh*t and calling him sh*t so the inter goes and purposely runs it down, and so out fed members of the team get flamed for not carrying them and unjustly lose LP. the only time i play now, is when urf is around because people would always fuck around for some reason. so instead i watch others get mad now lol.

its 100% true. 3/4 of my lanes could be winning but it doesn't matter cuz bot is hard trolling and we just lose because we have that troll player... its so frustrating... and Riot does nothing about it
So even when you're TRYING to lose you just can't manage to do it quite as well as someone who's actually stupid. This confirms many of my suspicions about every day life.

My second biggest problem is not the inting Brand or Soraka, is players like Vayne 10:46 . If 3 out of the 5 players from the the winning team bothered reporting the inting player (brand) we could at least have the "moral victory" of losing the game and having the inting guy banned for a while. But since the reason they won was because a player from the enemy team gave them the free win, their ego does not let them admit they got carried by an enemy player and don't bother reporting.
