Great job on those, such expert cutting. I do the shaping too, after ive cut the stone. Thanks so much for giving me the push to get on my saw. Now im cutting loads of stones 😂.
I haven't really noticed any excess wear on the rubber barrels 🤔 I actually just bought another vibe tumbler, Aussie Sapphire had them marked down from $650 to $450 👍
@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 yeah, not worth the cost plus postage, I have a sheet of about 1/4 inch rubber I glue to the underside, that stuff will last decades 😁
Some very beautiful colors in the polished stones, 👍
Yes, very happy with how these turned out ☺
ANOTHER ENJOYABLE AND ENTERTAING VIDEO. THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
Thank you for watching . . . much appreciated ☺
A very beautiful batch of Agates Paul, they all came up amazing.
Thank you Gordon, yes I am very happy with how these turned out . . . mind you it's hard to go wrong with Agates 😁
19:15 😂 that’s awesome!
20:55 looks like a slice of orange
Thank you Abby ☺

Good to hear Nicola, the best thing about pre-shaping this way is the saw blades get another use once the cutting surface has worn out.
@@paulhardie oh yes, that's a good point.
How often do you wear a blade out???
@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 I usually have to replace the blade every two or three batches, the Agates wore it out in one 😬
@@paulhardieI haven't cut Agate yet but I've been cutting Hydrogrossular garnet, that's really hard.
@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 yeah Garnet is right up there in the Mohs scale 😯
I was going to ask about the 46 wearing out the rubber.
I just love your vibe tumbler.

@@paulhardie that's good to hear, I'd like to use 46 more.
I've had it in my plastic barrels.
Wears the lids out though
@@nicolagraynewzealandrockho8976 it certainly goes through the Lortone lid seals quickly but they're easy to patch 👍
@@paulhardie those seals are quite pricey too.
