What Happens When You Tumble Rocks With NO Grit ?
I wanna eat that
I'm unfamiliar with Prase, but expect I've seen it in Natural History Museums in the United States. It is beautiful varied green material. Bet it cuts awesome cabs no matter whether the standard shapes or freeform. Thanks for your knowledge & sharing!
Most of my rocks get tumble polished and Prase always turns out beautifully 😀
Just lovely, the brecciated versions are outrageous! And very much watch to the end, the big reveal is pretty important!
Thank you Theo, it's nice to hear people appreciate my efforts ☺
It’s Just Outright Gorgeous!!!
I've got to agree 😁
Mookite Is Definitely a Rock That is Beloved Around The World and is Easily Identified With Australia as is Opals.
And I'm extremely lucky to be able to collect it myself ☺
Mookite Is Definitely a Rock That is Beloved Around The World and is Easily Identified With Australia as is Opals.
I feel like I've heard this before 😉
I love the slide show
Thank you ☺
All beautiful! And wow, 😊at your tumbled rock collection behind you ❤❤
Thank you, I've actually run out of room and need to make another rack 😁
We are here because we love rocks, of course we want to see them close up! Especially the brecciated ones, they are awesome It’s very hot and humid here in the southern US. I’ve had to shut down tumbling, it’s unbearable in my garage without air conditioning. I don’t have a basement 😕 So I am really appreciating your videos right now!
Thanks for the feedback Abby 😀 Sounds like a good time to cut some rocks on wet saw with a fan going . . . it works for me when it's hot 😁
@@paulhardie I would love to, but I don’t have any saws or lapidary tools. I just tumble. I’m a vicarious rock hound 😬
@@abbyW There's still time 😁
I personally love the slideshow. Get to see the rocks better.
Thank you ☺
I love the slide show. Cheers Paul
Thank you, it's great to get some positive feedback ☺
I will have to get some brecciated mookate next time lol
I'll be heading back there in a few months 👍
After watching your videos I now preshape the rocks, brilliant idea stage one can take a month for agates or more. Love the channel
Thank you Jeff, it's nice to know my advice has helped someone 👍
Great job on the mookite. Love the sideshow, close ups r a lot easier to appreciate the rocks. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Anne, it's nice to know some people make it all the way through 😁
Do you cut any rocks or crystal into points like a big tower
Not something I do, I mainly just tumble polish the rocks I find, every now and then I'll get a little adventurous and do some slab polishing 😁
@@paulhardie you should make some points they are very popular especially for use in water bottles
@@Unflappable43 sounds a little too much like hard work 😁
I just love the Brecciated Mookaite it comes up with some amazing patterns, great batch of Mookaite Paul. Yes i do watch right to the end including the slide show, great close-ups. Thanks Paul.
Thank you Gordon, good to know 👍
So beautiful
Yes, it is a beautiful rock indeed 😀
Insane patterns! Absolutely gorgeous
Isn't it just ? One of my favourites ☺
Stunning!!!
Printstone can have some really nice patterns, it doesn't always polish well but this piece came up great 😁
Do you find these or do you buy them?
We don't really have a lot of these types of Agates in Western Australia but we do have an astounding array of all sorts of colourful rocks which I collect myself 👍
I really like the green opalite. Is it something you can find on your rock hunting trips?? Nice!! Jane🇩🇰
Hi Jane . . . you and your green rocks 😄 The Green Opalite is about a 7 hour drive and is very easy to find 👍
Hi Paul. How can I contact you? I have found interesting stones and looking for some advice
The best way to contact me is via email print@westnet.com.au 👍
We Loved The Video.
👍☺❤
Do you prospect for your rocks or buy some?
The majority of the rocks I collect myself, some of the more exotic ones I buy 👍
All so beautiful Paul! 💚 Question, do you happen to have turquoise for sale? And if I order some around the 3rd of August, how long does it take (estimate) to get to the US (Arizona) from your shipping area? Thanks Paul⛏️
Unfortunately I don't have any Turquoise, about the nearest I can get is Chrysocolla but I don't have much at the moment. You're looking at about two weeks to get parcels from Western Australia to Arizona 👍
Hai sir you are doing very wonderful work I am really shocked to see your unique techniques and what a fantastic polish is that ❤❤❤❤ Sir can you guid me plz which chemicals you used to polish these stones I am very thankful to you if you plz guid me Thanks a lot
Hello and thank you, there's no real chemicals as such just Silicon Carbide grit, Aluminium Oxide polish and water, I'll add a link to a video that explains the process in detail 👍 ruclips.net/video/zzjiaejVIYw/видео.htmlsi=y8F_ROGGjSpFSwzw
Wondering how much did that chunk weigh, it reminded me of a slice of pizza but it is beautiful.
😄 this was about 8kg.
Beautiful stones, stinky doesn't look to happy about being on film 😂😂😂
😆Stinky's never happy 😆
Thats beautiful ❤️ Yes i know about sore thumbs from cutting, 😢 Its worth the pain though.
Absolutely Nicola, I need to keep stopping and wiggling my thumbs to stop them cramping 😁
@@paulhardie I need to do that too
👍🩹👍 😁
Oh my goodness, those are beautiful! 🤩
Yes, this rock was a real pleasant surprise ☺
Very nice rocks there Paul, they should be happy playing with those ones. Great video also.
Thank you Gordon ☺
Thanks Paul, they are great. Love the way you show what you pick out.
Glad you like them Susan ☺
Fancy jasper?
Could well be, the colours are right 🤔
Once Again another Outstanding Video.
Thank you ☺

Your customers are very lucky, those are awesome rocks!
I hope so Abby 😀
I’m gonna have to order some stuff from you. 😅
When your ready 👍
Very cool
👍👍😀😀
Beautiful and well done! ❤
Thank you ☺
Beautiful!!! 😍😍
Thank you ☺
Alatx batu beli dimana ya
Saya tidak tahu di mana Anda berada tetapi di Australia ada beberapa toko yang menjualnya.
Fascinating ❤. How can I remove the sealer someone painted on my beautiful rock
I think you may struggle to remove any sealer from a rock, it will probably need to be done using something like sandblasting or polishing if it's a flat surface🤔
I hope U true-full!! If SELLING THEM, DON'T ROB THE THE PPL.😮
😆what an odd thing to say 😆 I pride myself on "truthfulness" I'm sure if you ask the many dozens of "PPL" I've sent rocks to worldwide they would agree they received excellent value for their money 👍
That one turned out stunning. Always amazes me how rocks look like nothing but so different inside. Good one Paul
Yes, I was more than happy with what I found inside this one ☺
🤤
😆😆
There’s a fella on RUclips with a redder beard than yours. He has rocks that look like ocean scenes. Yours looks a little more up stream. I like it. Keep it up.
Lol, you're talking about Dan Hurd. When you think about this, theses fellas are on opposite hemispheres. 😂 I've forgotten the name of that particular material but I have some similar from Australia. Beautiful slabs!❤
Thanks Rod, actually when I first cut this rock it reminded me of Dan's Ocean Picture Stone, obviously very different rock but kinda similar looking 😁👍
@@TJTreasuresearth I was very happy to see what I did when I cut this rock, I can't wait to see how it polishes 😀
A friend gave me a 33. Lb white crystal rock, has a dusting of brownish/yellow n pieroye vains. Its a beauty. Im still a beginner Thank you for sharing onfo.
That sounds like a friend worth keeping 😄 I hope you enjoyed the video ☺
So much fun cutting open big rocks to see what is inside, thanks for sharing 🥰🤩🥰🤩
You said it Mahnee . . . so much fun 😀😃😄😆
Very cool paul! Beautiful stones.
Yes, some real surprises there 😃
I love that you kept your blooper in! Ozzie rocks are so much more colourful than one might expect when you see the often desert landscape they come from - thanks for sharing
😄you know I actually cut the blooper out at first but then I watched it again thought . . . yeah why not ? 😁
@@paulhardie Good call for the cute giggle and also for the "scared to share" novices to know that even the regular tubers have boo boo's sometimes and it's all part of it!!
@@2wahineandadog "sometimes" ? . . . most times 😆 On my first attempt at a RUclips video I was collecting rocks, turned the camera on myself, said G-Day and then thought, nah, I'm not doing this, too embarrassing 😆
@@paulhardie Good to know, i've got a bunch of them sitting in my phone waiting to uploaded lol - even did one today but....
@@2wahineandadog yeah go for it . . . what have you got to lose ? 😁
