The silence starts on the first quaver in a bar of 4/4, followed by a bar in 2/4 where the drum fill starts after a quaver rest. Counting 1, 2, 3, 4 wouldn't make any sense because it doesn't correspond to the time of the song. It seems like you're just looking for a reason to dislike Lars.

It’s bad. Clearly you can’t see it. I don’t hate Lars, I just think he’s wasted opportunities with all his success to actually get better and maintain a certainly level of skill minimally commensurate with the level of the rest of the band.

I just realized the reason this still sounds so good live, is because they still play it in the original tuning because it was tuned down to begin with so it was no struggle for James voice

All of the comfort albums come from things my parents and I listened to together, except for NIN Pretty Hate Machine... that's from a break up lmao.
