I was wondering if this would run video game discs. My pc does not have a disc tray or anything like that so i was looking at getting this one so i could play a computer game that i played back when i was younger.
How do I play a DVD on this ZenDrive????

How do you actually watch a DVD with this? I open a file and it has a bunch of file names but I can't figure out how to watch the DVD (it is NOT a blu ray)
A question, my dear brother, please, is it necessary to install two USB ports on the computer, because I bought this device from Egypt and only one cable is attached to it, a USB 3 port, the other port is Type C, and the other port is a 5pin port on the letter Y, which is installed on the DVD. Can you put things from a disc on to a pc ,like if i take a dvd burner, a xbox one game disc, and my pc, can i install the game on the disc on to my pc?

Firstly, thank you for watching. You can open files from CDs, you can install games from discs. So, ZenDrive not only burns, but reads discs also and I think you will be able to access your files ;)
Oh and can you install games from dvds on to your pc by using any dvd burner?

Should you open the recorder without installing firmware and plugged into 2 USB 3.0 ports? I bought the u7m model and it doesn't open to introduce cd after connecting it to both ports

Hey, sorry for very late answer. I don't know if it will answer to your question, but I will try. You can use it only to read and write CDs and DVDs, but it doesn't work with Blu-Ray discs. Have a nice day! ;)

Hey, sorry, but I can't answer to this question, because I didn't tried to write with CD-R. But the box says it can write with x24 speed. 0:20

I actually bought this model. I use Macintosh. After one year of use it stopped reading DVD's! I heart it working. But it won't read/record CD's or DVD's. Anyone knows what could have caused this?

Maybe your computer doesn't see it? Or try open setup from My Computer, if your PC sees it. If none of these options helped, then I don't know, just try google it :D

Hmm.. When I did CD writing/burning it never bothered me that much. So, I don't know if it's a product's problem or something else 🤷♀
M-disc Burn?
Hey, it does support M-discs with Write Speed DVD+R(M-DISC):4x and Read Speed DVD+R(M-DISC): 8x. Everything is at 0:20.
Does this work for Apple computers?
Hey, official ASUS site says it is compatible with USB Type-C and Type-A for both Windows and Mac OS.

Two cables. Ones is USB 2.0 ant the other is Type-C.
The one that goes on the motherboard?
@@andreipata321 if your motherboard has Type-C then yes. But U9M will work anyway, because you can plug it with usb 2.0 and motherboard definitely has it.
