I can't fathom how you can be braindead and dumb enough to push that narrative when if you just did some research and history, you'd use common logic to realize if Ohtani needed to borrow money to gamble (he's insanely rich btw), he wouldn't have deferred 98% of his contract for 10 years. He would've wanted all the money now so he could gamble with it. He also wouldn't have come to MLB at the early age of 23 giving up a potential $200M contract just so he could play in the MLB as soon as possible. On top of all that, you're just admitting that he's super-human if you think he has time to gamble while also needing the whole day to practice pitching/hitting and dominating the game. He was so mad how the Angels were playing that he gave his tickets to us, which we graciously accepted. For many years I was a 'AAA' hockey coach and am always in awe of Supreme sports talent. When I first saw Ohtani up close at the plate, I was so impressed that I saw him as the '21st Century Babe Ruth'. He is an amazing talent with many years left to change many records in baseball. Also, he was thrown out at third on a potential triple. Can you imagine if he hit for the cycle? Their would be no dispute for the best game ever played. Now, if he also pitched and threw a perfect game along with his 6 for 6, scientist will need to clone him right away.

    You get it, right?
That $700 million over 10 years was a bargain sale.
    Ohtani is still too undervalued.
The Dodgers have already earned more than $700 million.
    In just one year.
Even if Ohtani's salary was $2 billion, it would still be low.
He makes the team $700 million every year, and he even contributes by playing.
A player who is rehabbing and out of shape can hit like this.
I can't even imagine what he can do once his injury is healed.
A player like that, who pitches and hits, has 42 HRs and 15 wins. And all this while being at a disadvantage with a weak baseball team.
That means that the double is not simply twice as hard, but more than three or four times as hard.
If Judge was also a pitcher, he wouldn't have hit 15 HRs in a year.
Americans and MLB have never realized how great it is to double as a pitcher and hitter.
Is he a DH and therefore a lesser defensive contributor?
That he gets zero rest as a pitcher?
Even Judge is a great player.
But even if you double his hitting stats from last year, he's still not even close to Otani's.
Because playing a double role is 3x or 4x harder.
Even if he hit 100 HRs, it would not be enough at all.
Do you understand how great Ohtani is?
Did you realize that last year's MVP was unfair?

He also went 6-for-6 with 10 runs batted in, including three homers, and stole two bases in a single game, an astounding feat.
Ohtani's success is more than just a record; it is a testament to his hard work, passion, and sincerity towards baseball. His play has inspired many fans and continues to have a great impact on future baseball players.

At LoanDepot Park, where he led the world to victory in the WBC last year, he now secured his first postseason berth and set an unprecedented “record.” Just like the “40-40” achievement, he often plays games that remain in both “records” and “memories.” Is he a messenger sent by the baseball gods?
