@@Shinobi33 just because it was groundbreaking from a civil rights perspective doesn't mean the quality of play merits a 99 rating. No one thinks of him as one of the three best 2nd basemen ever. Rogers Hornsby, Joe Morgan, Roberto Alomar, and Rod Carew in my opinion were better ballplayers than Jackie. That does NOT take away from the significance of him breaking the color barrier in baseball.
