- In this easy cooking video, I make a beef soup, or stew in my Crock-Pot slow cooker. The ingredients are a beef london broil, or top round steak, baby potatoes, baby carrots, celery, green beans, beef bouillon or stock, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. I let this cook on low for 8 1/2 hours. For more easy cooking and recipes be sure to check out my easy cooking channel. / @tostinmaneasycooking

In the nicest way possible, I love how “unprofessional” or “imprecise” this is. I’ve been looking for a good tutorial without red wine for 30 minutes .. as a wife and new mom THANK YOU!
I love it when people say Worcestershire correctly. Nicely done. Your dinner looks awesome.
Alan Caye Thank you!
I use my crock pot mostly during the summer because the oven and even the range heat up my little house too much. This looks really good!
That's why I'm here. Too hot for the oven
maybe a tablespoon or so I don't know lol made my day 😂😂😂.
LOL Thanks for watching! :)
Nice and simple. Thank you!
Love the hat…
🤣🤣🤣.. so many women would die watching you make it so easy and it's still delicious. If only my mom could watch you ...as a woman I'd rather watch men cook and get to the point already. 🤭👩🦳
LOL Thank you!
Love your taste test dog. Hard working and dedication in your videos, I think he needs a raise. 😊
LOL She eats good!
Love how this is unpretentious, easy, made with basic ingredients a regular joe will easily have around the house. Makes cooking look chill.
For anyone willing to add a little extra legwork for a tad more bang to this meal, consider a touch of corn-starch (or flour) whisked into the broth to thicken it up. And/or Replace garlic powder with fresh finely cut garlic. And/or throw in a dash of red wine. Badabingbadaboom
A whole Bayleaf or two, and/or a sprinkle of italian seasoning, can add another dimension of flavor as well. And/or giving the meat a sear/high heat browning on all sides before potting it.
Extra tip: Low sodium or no-salt-added beef broth / beef stock is better for those of us with blood pressure issues too, then add salt to taste.
Thanks for the vid brotha. Love your style and pleasant character
Nice. Trying this end of week.
Just made this, so simple and so good! I put it on top of a plate of mashed potatoes and was in heaven. Great vid

That's a great looking Crock Pot recipe, Jim! The beef looks super tender!
+Greg McCutchan Thanks Greg! It turned out really good!
Wow! The title alone had me anticipating the setup and the end results did not disappoint.
You can add a packet of the Lipton onion soup for some added flavorness too.
My mouth is watering, thanks for the video.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Nice recipe. I like first marinating over night and then brazing the London Broil before putting it into the crock pot.
Delicious!!
I will try it today! Nice hat…
Finally took my crock pot out of storage too. Once I clean it, gonna try this. Thanks for posting. I love your videos.
Thanks! I appreciate it!
A little bit of maggots wont hurt😜
Dude that looks delicious ....I'm gonna get me a crock pot right now!!! Love the clip...
Thank you!
looks good 😋👌👍
No browning the meat before adding to the crock pot? Just wondering - I've always browned my roasts (chuck roast) before putting them in the crock pot but there was a sale on London Broil so I thought I'd see how others worked with that cut.
Don't forget a packet of onion soup mix.
I have gotten hooked on your videos good food
Thank you!
hahah never heard of that name but sounds good!!! i love beef!
+AllasYummyFood Thanks Alla! It's probably an American thing. I don't know but it tastes good! :)
Hi Jim, your steak and vegetables looks delicious low ad slow is the way to go. It's so hearty it looks like a stew i'll take a big olé bowl.

Nice looking soup.... There Jim! That is one way to make the round steak tender.... :)
+OldManCooking Thanks Tom! Yep, it was falling apart tender! :)
Jim, it's great to see you using the old Crockpot! It makes me glad I have one. I've never done anything in the slow cooker like what you did here. The top round was falling apart tender! I need to try something like this! The bowl looked fabulous, as verified by the taste-testing pooch!!
+Juanelo1946 Thanks John! This turned out pretty good. The pup didn't even have to chew! LOL
Juanelo1946 you gotta use your crock pot!!! the best most tender meat! deer roast, pot roast, pork loin, beef stew, turkey breast tenderloins, Cornish game hens....

+Cody Higginbotham Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying them!
Love your vidios
"Maybe a Tablespoon or so... I don't know!" just crackeded me up! Next time put a couple-three tomatoes under the broiler. Turn, let them blacken on all sides. Take them out and just put them in a bag or not. Scrape off some of the black, leave a little some on there and squish them into your pot about oh, I'd say, 20 minutes or so before you stir it. I like to put a little pinch or three of dried red pepper flakes in too. Try it, you'll love it and have a new video to produce! A bottle of amber beer is good too! Good luck to ya!
Thanks!
Awesome,i want to try this recepie..it looks very good..i think my kids would love this..they like anything that has meat in it..lol

To be honest, it didn't look so good in the pot but once you put it in the bowl - yum! It looked so nice and hearty. Also, loved your little dog...officially approved! What's your dog's name?
Thanks! The dog's name is Annie. I appreciate you watching and commenting!

Question. Can you use an eye of round into this recipe too?
That should work.
TosTinMan EasyCooking thanks
great video thanks for sharing
+Josh Camp Thank you!
Excellent looking meal Jim :-) We will try this for sure :-) An Extra "BIG" thumbs up :-) Our 49ers are looking horrible :-( Bethea is out for the season and Hyde and Boldin are out with injuries but Kaepernick is NOT like he used to be for some reason. I think this will be his last season as a 49er but I still say 49ERS FOR LIFE!!!!!!Keep up the great work my friend :-) ROCK ON!!!!!!!
+MrMegaFredZeppelin Thanks Fred! Yeah, the 49ers are looking pretty bad. It's definitely not they're year. Rock on!
Looks good! It would kick it up a notch if you grilled the meat first. Really adds good flavor
Could I add cornstarch at the end to thicken it a bit?
Sure, you could do that.
great job :)
Thank you!
I use my crock pot all year long lol
I guess that bag of potatoes had no dirt in them
Love the SF hat
Thanks!
More garlic please. 1/4 cup of vinegar will make the meat even more tender .The vinegar will cook off with no real ick taste .
I liked this video 5 seconds in because of the hat :)
That turned out pretty good, I love crockpot meals. I use mine year round, thanks for sharing this
+FitAnge S Thanks Angie! The crockpot is pretty handy!
Cute dog.
Thanks!
Great video, but I really wanted to see you cut up the meat. LOVE 5:17 so sweet! Thumbs up!
Thank you!
you should attempt to make a dish called poutine. it's a Canadian dish. all it is is french fries mozzarella cheese or cheese curds are traditional and gravy.
+Ryan Perry Thanks for the suggestion! I'll try to do it when I get a chance.
I'm going to have to try this recipe. I will have to eliminate the onions & garlic, because I will probably share some of the meat with my cat. Onions & garlic are highly toxic to cats, and IIRC, they are also both toxic to dogs. Thanks for uploading this vid!
Ive got garlic powder
I'm bummed out I tried this last night and it went about ten hours (it was an accident) and it was a little "tough".....nothing was tender really. I'm afraid I overcooked it, is that possible? By the way the good news is i also got luck with two for one and there's another in the freezer for me to take a stab at again. Anyhow if you have any advice let me know, your a great cook brother!! Regards, Jason........ By the way I like low and slow so that's how I cooked it......
Was it just the meat or were the veggies tough too? Usually, the longer it cooks, the more tender everything gets.
Yeah brother potatoes and a lot of the carrots were almost "al dente" I guess you would call it. And the meat as well...maybe all those all those hours STILL weren't enough?!
That's what it sounds like.
probably too low temperature
sparti70 sounds like your Crock-Pot temp was too low
mine is cooking now...four more hours to go...
I hope it was good! :)
Eating it now. ha ha. I ended up putting a slice of provolone on top. Super delicious! Whats next? I recommend something with FISH in a crock pot, as I am being biased. ha. Thanks! ohh yeah, and I just hit the like button for ya.
Thanks! Actually, I did do a video where I cooked some tilapia in the crockpot. ruclips.net/video/4_qIDxkIAlk/видео.html
ok ill watch...
You should wash veggies and potatoes first!!
really dont need all the liquid, unless you wanted a stew.
Call Me Witcher that's what cooks the meat up to be tender and not dried out.
dude didn't even wash his vegetables lol
shevon sambola I wondered the same thing. Hopefully he washed his fingers after feeding the dog.
My OCD kicked in sooo fast when I saw this...

Fantomas Two for $14, he paid for both. Oldest retail trick in the book.
Develop those pathogens slowly over time in a warm wet environment and hold out the hope that they die from heat exposure in the end. Good luck !
Buy one get one free at $14.33. You paid for both .
By the way you just fed your dog poison . Garlic, onion highly toxic to dogs. Also they can't process salt . I know it was just a little bit . Well you wouldn't eat just a little bit of poison .If you love your dog which I'm guessing you do, don't let them eat any type of spice .
Ive got garlic powder
