- Experience the ultimate comfort food with CJ Frazier's Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese, made extra delicious with @Country-Crock Butter! Enjoy crispy sourdough bread, melted Havarti and Colby Jack cheeses, and a zesty crunch from dill pickle chips. It's a flavor explosion in every bite!
Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese recipe
Ingredients
Sourdough bread
Havarti cheese
Colby Jack cheese
Dill pickles
Dill pickle potato chips
Country Crock Butter spread
Directions:
1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat.
2. Slice the sourdough bread, or use two pre-sliced pieces. Butter both sides of each slice. (We'll be toasting the inside first.)
3. Place the bread on the Blackstone and toast one side, then flip.
4. Add 2 slices of Havarti cheese to each slice of bread. Top with dill pickles, then add 2 slices of Colby Jack cheese to each slice. On one slice, add a handful of dill pickle chips. Cover and let the cheese melt.
5. Once the cheese starts to melt, flip the non-chip side onto the chip side to form the sandwich. Flip occasionally to ensure the bread doesn't burn.
6. When the cheese is melted and the bread is toasty, remove the sandwich from the griddle. Slice, plate, and enjoy!

In the '70s I discovered pickles on Grilled Cheese with ketchup and everyone has thought I was crazy since then...which I very well may be, but to this day, it's the only way I can eat Grilled Cheese.
So I ran across the Blackstone Betty episode where you made pizza and found it fun and entertaining. So I went to more recent episode IE this one. Guess what still fun and entertaining with less beard. LOL Going to gradually watch all your videos and try out this Ultimate Dill Pickle Grilled Cheese! Thank you Good Day Sir!

I think the idea is great, I think had you used a dome and a bit of water to add steam to it to melt the cheese better it would been dead on. As far as some of the antics and other stuff, not much of a fan of it. Thats ok! Kudos on the idea on the food.

Great dill pickle, chip, grill cheese. Love the no mayo grill.
Next time, let the cheese on the bread hang over more and melt more so it becomes a cheese skirt all over the bread. Then load it up, then cover it for a few, still while 2 halves on the griddle. Then make it a sandwich and serve
